Getting an operating licence often means that they may have to abide by the regulations. This includes setting up KYC/AML policies. On the other side, no licence means the clients could get exposed to fraud in case things go south.

I think when one chose to go the no KYC route, it becomes a game of trust. There are genuine services that do not have those licences, and they have built trust over the years.

That’s true and at the same time there are many licensed casinos that ended up scamming their customers and the regulatory bodies couldn’t, or didn’t want to, do anything about it.
Licenses from some regulatory bodies are useless and do not necessarily guarantee the casino can be trusted.
Unfortunately, the crypto gambling industry is still the wild west, but it’s harder for non licensed casinos to gain users’ trust compared to licensed ones.

I have said the same thing in my post. They have copied a lot of things from Rollbit. Maybe they want to attract users of Rollbit with the design and 'No-KYC' slogan. This type of copy design indeed creates a bad impression among the gambling community.

It can't be a coincidence, right? I also saw these similarities. Rollbit is a well known casino platform, so surely they (Playz) intentionally copied some of the elements from them. Bad start IMO, this alone gives a bad impression. The No. 1, No KYC, fully anonymous is just a marketing strategy. Everyone claims to be those, and every gambler is aware of how these works. So even though its false advertising, gamblers won't be believing these slogans. The most controversial part is when a casino says no KYC casino but still asks its users for KYC documents. In fact, I have seen some casinos here that claimed the same thing but had a different policy in their T&C.

I'm aware of this already. And I have already pointed out this in some other casinos ANN thread who are advertising with such slogans. The KYC related terms are opposite of their slogan, and those casinos also have the history of applying the KYC verification related terms to the users. Playz.bet representative has stated here that they won't ask the users to complete the KYC verification, and they have also stated it clearly in their terms.

We dont require in general a KYC. Not for deposits, not for playing and especially not for withdrawals.

To be honest, I don't think they are licensed, because if they are, they would at least comply with their licensed provider's regulations to not getting their license revoked.

The head of the casino is based in Curaçao, but the license is still in process and its gonna be an Anjouan one. So at the moment we are not licensed.

But what's worrying about it is that it's illegal because the casino is not regulated, though gamblers themselves hold their own privacy accounts at this casino, so it's really gambling at your own risk.

the #1 in the title imply that they are the number 1 NO KYC casino, not the first NO KYC casino.
but regardless of what they mean, it's still false, they are neither the number 1 NO KYC casino nor the first to offer NO KYC gambling.

and i get they are just using it for marketing (like many others), but i don't think this kind of claim is gonna take them far as a new casino. they already have a bad look by taking heavy "inspiration" from rollbit, so add another bad look for false claims.
