Hello everyone,

I recently came across a crypto platform named **xbitbank.com** – but there's very little information about it online.

It looks like a trading platform, possibly pretending to be Bitbank from Japan (bitbank.jp), but the design and domain are different. No license info is shown, WHOIS is hidden, and I couldn't find any real reviews or withdrawal proof.

Has anyone here ever tried using it?
✅ Any successful deposit or withdrawal?
⚠️ Any red flags, suspicious activity, or scam signs?

I appreciate any experience or advice before risking my funds. Thanks in advance!

The general rule of any web service that lets you deposit cryptocurrency is that if you have never heard of it, and no one else has heard of it, it's probably a scam.

Also you should probably move this page to service discussion board.

That site is likely to be a scam broker site. I also tried to search for them online, and some suggest it’s a scam. Considering how young the site is, they could be scammers.

If you check through this https://x.com/hashtag/XbitBank?src=hashtag_click, all you will find there are people talking about not being able to get their funds out and those who are also likely to be scammers recommending you to use them for recovery of your funds.

If you are looking for places to trade, it should be on reputable and well-known trading sites and not some random scam site which might get your funds locked out and ask you to pay for something you know nothing about.

The service is like a scam. Avoid it at all costs. It looks like the website was just created less than a year ago around the same time the domain name was registered/updated

Code:
Domain: xbitbank.com
Registered On: 2024-10-08
Expires On: 2025-10-08
Updated On: 2024-10-08

How did you get to know about the website though? Did some stranger suggest to you via inbox or social media?

I strongly agree with this viewpoint.

And frankly, I have never heard of xbitbank either. It sounds like a generic name, which should be clue number one that something is off. Second, feel free to google it and see if any bad reviews or scam accusations come up, and if they do, then it is definitely something you should stay away from. And lastly, if coinmarketcap has not listed it under exchanges, then it almost definitely is a scam. Although cmc is not 100% a reliable indicator.

Similar, but not the same: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5550829.0

Two different newbies ask about two trading platform that are both unknown and may be illegitimate or scams. Honestly, I don't know what's behind them asking about such a platform, if they really want to warn people about a scam trading platform, then they should state something specific.

They could have just randomly found it on the internet or something in the works, but let's wait for some responses.

Have you checked the backlinks of this site and where it is mentioned?

Most of the backlinks look very spammy, and they take the title of SEO expert. I don't know how the owner of this site manages his backlinks in a spammy way to promote or just to get link to a random site not related to them.

I am trying to access the site and it seems this one is a dead site.
I also tried it on Browsling. The site is dead or not hosted yet on any hosting sites.

BTC is still bearish at the moment, but it is getting weak. The market might shift while the RSI is making a reversal pattern.

To get more advantage analyzing the market, why not try to subscribe to TradingView and unlock the $15 reward from your first subscription?

If that is a trading platform and new, I will not bother to use it because I have many recommended platform. If that is an investment platform, you can use an exchange to invest your coins there. Binance will fits you and give you the profit or other exchanges platforms. No need to use the other platforms that is not reliable or unknown. You need to stay away from that because that can get you in trouble.

The person doing it should be knowing about the risks, and minimize them. Always.

Try to do it, at least..

And I wouldn't check the platform anyways due to seeing where it may lead.

OP i have an advise for you, once you discovered that a platform does not have much information needed to know about it and people were not also familiar wit the existence of the platform after a thorough search, then its most likely to be a scam, because some sites are their with the intention to scam and some may not know that, instead they thought about them being a reliable platform to use for their desired purpose, always make your research before using a website or platform for anything.

Usually when I see such questions from Newbies with 1 post on Bitcointalk, I can tell it's scam without even opening website. But this time I can't even tell you that - website doesn't even opens for me. But from what I read in OP's description, it's most obvious scam. Avoid it at any cost like it would plague.

I didn't bother going to the website - I think the OP just wanted to promote the platform instead of asking some questions. I've started to notice that some newbi are specifically creating thread and asking about platforms we've never heard of. The platform seem like scams - but they try to make it sound like they're curious or interested in them and need advice.

I just wonder - do they get paid for this?

Come to think of it, maybe they come here for backlinks so that they can have their websites get ranked higher in the search engine results. What doesn't make sense at all is these sites are hardly searchable online let alone have any reviews talk about them but with the so many good exchanges out there, these users choose to come around and ask if platform X, Y or Z is legit or not

Very likely that people who are behind these websites is making such topics to get backlinks and improve their place in search engines, as said above. Doubt that they're getting paid.

Regardless of whether they are paid or not - I have come to the conclusion that they seem to want to promote the website in this way. In my opinion - their approach is quite simple, but it can influence or encourage some people unknowingly to find the mentioned website. I don't know exactly whether backlinks are actually prohibited in this forum's rules - but in my opinion, any website including any platform that has the potential to harm users is prohibited.

Sounds risky! If the site is hiding its WHOIS info, has no license details, and there are no real reviews, those are big red flags
Many scam sites pretend to be known exchanges by using similar names, and people end up losing their funds because withdrawals never work, or the site suddenly disappears.
It’s good that you are asking before putting in your money. I would personally advise you avoid using it until you see real proof from trusted users, or until it is clearly licensed and transparent.
Better to be safe than to lose your crypto to a scam.

We are free to suspect their actions, but come to think of it, even if they are kind of indirectly running such a post for an audience growing in traffic search with such content and the site also likely to be a scam, the risk of the site getting reported is high, so they will rather get their site banned than any positive publicity if that's their intention, and if there has not been any negative report for the site with Google search, whether it's legit or not, suggestions might sometimes lead to this place. I don't even see anything positive coming out from such, although nothing is impossible; the OP might have a hidden agenda too. I never can be too sure.

I have never heard of such title or domain name before until this very moment, I have not even visited the site to see how it looks or appears, but I still won't trade on such a site for if not for any thing, the domain name looks exactly like that is 1xbit casino which I believe we all know to be a scam, I feel the owners of this casino may have developed this exchange and named it after the casino which is why we see xbitbank.

My advice would be that everyone should avoid this exchange completely, atleast until some people around start using the exchange and can give an honest review that the exchange is good..

I didn't bother going to the website - I think the OP just wanted to -snip-
-snip-
I don't even see anything positive coming out from such, although nothing is impossible; the OP might have a hidden agenda too. I never can be too sure.
If you really want to know what the motive is - look at how passionately the OP asks the question and how easily he goes silent afterward. Initial impressions haven't changed on my part - I mean, this is the easiest approach to building traffic to a promoted website. If more and more new users do the same thing, I think it will cause a disturbance. I'll ignore such users from now on and whoever you are, be wise not to fall for their strategy.
