It is also about luck and nothing more than being lucky. Someone may try it for the first time and win the lottery while some people will try it for the rest of their lives but not win just only once. Any money you put on lotto, just see it has money that you have given out and expect nothing in return but maybe you may be lucky.

Very well luck is a measure factor in gambling and lottery is not exceptional in that luck factor to win it, but then just as we have always warned, it better to implement a limit control in all because at some point, you definitely will need to stop to save yourself from sliding into bad realities, and regardless if you win you first lottery jackpot or lose your money on your first try, it doesn't mean what is important is to walk with something that controls how you gamble and way's and many you handle the outcomes.

I have seen a million dollars lottery amount. Is there any one that would have stacked close to that amount on lottery, if you can do that you are already the lottery yourself.
You would need to have extraterrestrial luck to be able to win a major lottery on your first try but you would still need extraterrestrial luck to win a major lottery at any number of attempts because everyone chances are equal except you play on more than one number on the lottery.

Since it's based on luck it's hard to really tell, some people win the lottery on their first trial, some win through repeated bets, they end up getting lucky after multiple trials...But the thing is that everyone cannot get the same results and they can't get lucky from doing the same thing.. some can keep on trying for more than a year or Maybe even more they might not end up winning.. it's just a matter of luck

You are absolutely correct that is the real truth about it because everybody might not have luck at the same time, that is how gambling was program since luck have the besic role in determining the final outcome. 

However, just like as you mentioned that is how it works. Because there are people who have been betting repeatedly as the luck is not there, they end up losing, while some people normally end up being lucky on their first trial and get a win, so is quite a normal thing.

I don't bet on lottery but it's possible to win with repeated bets and numbers there. Because of it being a game of luck, so the possibility remains there for someone who's going to bet for the same bets all of the time.

You can't ignore beginners luck because there were lottery before that have won for the first time. But most of them are no longer beginners if they've been betting on it for months.

Most likely it isn't enough. But with what I have noticed on the lottery bettors, they are forgetting their losses and just moving on if they didn't hit it. So that one time big time paycheck is the reward that they're all waiting for.

I don’t think anyone who won at the lottery for a huge amount would admit to the crowd that he won significant amount from lottery, but here maybe since we are only using our individual code name, not actually our real name.

Everything you’ve mentioned are possible, the winner maybe betting repeated bets, or maybe a first timer or a beginner’s luck, and knowing how huge the jackpot price, for sure it will cover all your previous losses, except for those who bet with hundred thousand to million dollars amount of betting prior to winning.

Yes, I've been doing it for many years and I almost always play my numbers. I've never had a big win, but with the ones I've done, I've managed to make up for the bets I've made over the years. I'm waiting for the lucky day when, with 5 numbers and a little money, I'll hit the jackpot. Maybe it will never happen, but hope is what fuels every pleasure in gambling.

In a lottery, the amount rolls over if nobody hits the jackpot. If the jackpot is not hit for 10 weeks, it rolls over. If you hit it on the 11th, then even if you’re betting for ten years, it will all be worth it.

I won a few smaller rewards from the lottery decades ago. Obviously it didn’t make me rich. As you know unless you hit the biggest or the second biggest prize, it is mostly a waste of time and money as you won’t be happy with the other lesser rewards. Winning a lottery is different form playing a bet, but in a casino, you may have them both used on the same context, to your question, we don't stand to have a winning opportunity by repeated attempt, except the luck comes in any of those, some can keep trying till infinity and never win, some some made it the very first time, in some cases, the gambler would have attempted in countless times, but above all, we shouldn't place our mind and dexterity on vain expectation about what is not certain to come, because we may get into more troubled state as long as we are expecting and nothing is coming forth.

We do know that those odds or numbers are that close to impossible and thats why it would be that so hard to hit up those numbers. Just like we do all know that we do need up that all luck in the word for us to have that hit on which we know that it would be a life changing thing once you do able to hit it up. There are those people who do become that too addicted on buying up lottery tickets. Lets say that its cheap but if you've been that trying out to buy numerous number on everyday then it would be some hefty amount if its been that accumulated. You cant just that simply make yourself that being optimistic that you can win it up. Considering on the numbers or odds, then you would definitely be saying that it would be that so damn close to impossible on hitting up those numbers and won up the pot.

One of the main things that what make people pushes them to bet or buying on tickets is just because of having the hopes that they can make that huge amount of money that they will be able to hit up and totally change your life forever in terms of those amounts being hit. On other talks that it will be better that you should be buying up those tickets for fun but dont expect that much because even if you do buy those tickets always but it doesnt mean that you can hit it up on your entire lifetime.

For some reason, I personally don't consider the lottery to be an entertaining form of gambling, so I can't remember ever playing it. Furthermore, I feel the odds of winning are very low, which also turns me off. I remember when I was still young, a lot of my neighbors have always been lottery bettors. They're saying that they are "taking care" of their numbers and that's why I think that it's very possible to win with the repeated bets. I've heard some of them won with those bets that they have been placing and they never change. I have no update if they are still going on with them since my childhood neighborhood is no existing and we relocated to another place although it's still near to that area. But, I haven't gone there and have no idea if those people are still living there but most likely not anymore.

Depends if you've bought so many lottery tickets to the tune of millions of dollars. It's unlikely but if you win it might make up for all that you've spent on lottery tickets.

So far never bought much lotto and didn't spend much money on it, so winning the lotto might be the luck of a lifetime.

The chance of our house being directly hit by an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile is much higher than my winning chance in hitting the lottery jackpot prize. Now imagine what level of odds we have to deal with if we want to win that huge lottery prize.

But even with that kind of low chance, I sometimes buy a couple of tickets to participate in our National Lottery Draw, especially the 6-digit picks. The ticket cost is around $.0.35 each. Not bad at all if I want to test my luck once or twice a week. And yes, the jackpot prize (National Lottery) can surely cover all my losses from gambling from the beginning, but don't have a goal like that if you are betting in a lottery.

For other types of lottery, I'm not that interested. Only our National Lottery.

I know someone that won because played every week in the lottery, national lottery I mean 15 from 90, she is my aunt so I know her well  , many years ago it happened on Valentine Day where they tripled the prize to near 100.000 million not Euro or Dollars but in such currency it would be like 120.000 Eur or Usd equivalent. Personally I think it is because of her being very persistent in buying at least 2 to 5 tickets every week for the cost of 2 to 5 Eur equivalent and doing so for several years. I don't know personally again someone who has won directly from beginner's luck to get a huge prize, sure it may have happened though most winners that get on TV after winning as this is the procedure they all claim to be regular and persistent players, so in the end I believe perseverance can make you win.

My father once did, but It wasn't the jackpot. Lottery here in our country normally has 6 digits combination. You need all of the correct digits to hit the jackpot. In my father's case, he got all 5 out of 6 correct. The winning wasn't that much. If I remember correctly it was around $500.
He's had that combination for quite a few years in consistently buying lottery tickets. It did not hit the jackpot, so he decided to stop purchasing in the next few months.

I haven't bet on lottery before and I haven't had anyone close to me winning lottery before, but I can only say that it's hard to win in lottery as the people I know are always trying harder everyday they try their luck, it had never been easy for them to become successful with it.

Even when they have been repeatedly betting on lottery, it seems like the company doesn't really want players to win at least a little, the highest someone can actually win always smaller amount which isn't fair to me.

The same for my pops, he's been into it before until he's fully stopped and no longer bet on it. I can't remember if he's able to win a jackpot but with small wins, he did for that number for a few times.

I am not into lottery but based on the replies of the others here means that these bettors really keep their numbers.

They don't mind for how long they're going to wait until they have reached their limit and yet, they'll still bet for the same bet.
