There have been concern on citizens who are complaining about bad government and how it has limited to them to become what they truly wanted to be in life. Must have heard of people saying they cant get jobs because the government dont provide jobs, they have less pay so they can even pay for vacation or staycation in a good resort. My question is, when did we realize the government was not limiting us? As a person we can write our own story, no matter the condition, I believe the opportunities are out there but we keep looking at every possible excuse and someone to shift blame on.

The truth is that when leaders are not doing the right things, it makes life so difficult for the common people. However, poor leadership shouldn't be the reason for anyone to just relax and not strive to get what they want. Even with bad leadership, people are still elevating in different ways; this is because they never allow the economy or poor leadership to be a limitation to growth.

It is good for people to change their mindset and understand that they can do without the government because it is this mentality that helps people excel wherever they find themselves. Depending on the government when it is not meeting your expectations can be so disappointing that one can give up on life, but when you don't expect anything from anyone, you will be able to create your own opportunities.

Personally I have never been a believer of the government right from when I was a kid so growing up to an adult I never trusted them to the point of depending on them for anything I want to achieve in life my reason is because the government doesn't care they just want to make money for themselves and their families nothing else.

If you trust the government to give you employment so that you will be rich or become an important person in the society they will be limiting you to the things you would have achieved if they never existed but the fact that I believed that they can't help me gave me the courage do work my ways out by developing myself and getting a business that doesn't require the help of the government for me to operate.

Government may try to sell their pitch to you in the form of an indictment, or something else, but if they don't show literal injury or damage or a threat with proof that you were the one who did it, they don't have a case.

Bad government investment is always on the things that will not be any beneficial to anybody because the money used in building 5 star hotel could build a massive manufacturing company that could remove a lot of people from the streets and fed them for a lifetime and good thing about manufacturing is that you have a technical skills that you would need someday to build your own company but unfortunately they have not seen or embrace what this can actually do for people. You shouldn't be surprised that they are not even building those hotels for profit making but instead just to feel among.

Are those shopping malls and 5 star hotels are individually and privately owned or is it publicly owned by the government? I think that it will also generate employment and opportunities to the citizens there but it's still limited though. But I agree that they should have infrastructures that could mass produce opportunities and livelihood. And that cycle that you've said is happening to all of us, it's the economy that lies in there and that's why people get to earn and get to spend the money that they've worked hard for.

Bad governance has been a major setback in most countries especially my country the rate of unemployment is high and I believe this has affected to country negatively.
There are people who realize earlier that it will be bad on them if they keep depending or relying on the government to create job opportunities for them and they created one for themselves by going into some business or learning some skills. Well, it seems that you are yet to understand the impact of bad governance. Your mates in the European countries are miles ahead of you because they have a working government. A bad government is worse than hell. You will be alive and hoping but to no avail.

I am a first class graduate but I regret wasting my wonderful 5 years in the university of a good country with bad government. You are a graduate I am sure, where do you work? Is there any government or oil company work that can be gotten without connections? Please and please, the bad leaders are the architect of our set back. In my state, the mother earth gave us resources that is big enough to make everyone in the state, including a new born baby to be comfortable. If everyone can take responsibility of their own life's it becomes easier for the government to provide their regulatory role effectively and even though for some reasons government may seems over stepping their boundaries and taking away the actual right from citizens but this happens whenever their is high corruption in the system but not when the government is working effectively, citizens make up the government that is democracy for you, it was meant to serve the need of the people through the collective efforts of all.

 For some, it's easy to blame the government when things don't go their but the sad truth is it's not actually their fault rather, it's the decisions you took along the way that led you to the point you're at.

Of course as a person, if your determine to succeed, the government will definitely not have a hold on you, though the government policies in terms of tax and inflation might have effect on your business if your an entrepreneur, but you should learn how to see things above those setback. But however most times government wants to deliberately put the people under some sort of suppression, as much as you encourage people to make sure they give they're all to succeed, you should also look at the fact that the government at one hand is trying to control the success of people.

Yeah, Powerless leaders and frequent corruption is bad , but people hustle and make big multimillion dollar companies for example like Nollywood by hard work, inventiveness and courage , not waiting for a miracle from the government. Did you hear about Nigerian famous achievement stories like that of Chidi Nwaogu (Publisheer) and Nkem Okocha (Mamamoni)? who become top platforms for a lot of people by working on networking, experience and reaching their target not pleading for the government to make reforms . So yes make your own legacy, And yes some support might help but if your waiting for it you will never live a full life .

Honestly unnfair governments exist, corruption also exists, infact systems even fail. But history has shown us that inspite of all this we as human beings can still push through and then create opportunities for ourselves, not because we may everything, but because we have the power within us to choose not to let anything stop us.

Okay let's look at people like Elon Musk. He grew up in Pretoria South Africa during apartheid. And as a result of this he faced violence and bullying, and his environment wasn’t even encouraging.But im spite of his background he still chose to start small, by teaching himself programming language and eventually moved to the United States were through his efforts and hardwork, built companies like Tesla and SpaceX.

well you are right. i was a part of those that proclaimed that it is the legal right of the government to take full responsibility of its citizens but later when i was of age, i realized that it is not the right of government to take full responsibility of us, but our parents. government is only responsible to protect your right as a citizen and makes provision of job to some numbers of the citizen and not all. we ought to work hard to become who we want to be and not wanting government to do that for us.

The government is supposed to do their job by providing social amenities and making the economy good for their citizens o live in but then they have failed to provide certain things like employment and security which is part don't think the cof the things that makes their citizens happy. We cannot completely exclude the government from this issues. Just imagine yourself as a promising young graduate who lives in the rural villages. You intend to use your knowledge of modern agriculture to develop yourself and become a better person. You've been able to raise little capital for yourself but unfortunately, there are no incentives from the government to help you grow your idea the way you want it. No electricity and no good road network for easy access by customers to your business. You have tried your best but it seems like you are doing your best in a wrong environment because the laxity of the government is posing a challenge to your growth.

Anyone who finds himself in situations like this has every right to blame the government and the leaders for their setback. This post has nothing to do with actual lazy and irresponsible people.
