That is why even the 'smaller' clubs can spend big on players and compete. The smaller teams wouldn't be able to win the league, but the bigger teams cannot play in first gear and still expect to win the league, something psg can afford to do in Ligue 1.

PSG clearly doesn't get its money from unevenly distributed TV revenue (it seems this income item is a negligible part of their budget). If other Ligue 1 clubs were also owned by Qatari funds and could afford billion-dollar investments, then the league would be at the level of the Premier League. But as far as I know, France has a much worse tax situation and the population's solvency, so the league won't be able to follow the path of the Premier League.

I was looking at the rounds thinking there are 2 games already and SaintLoup already so close to my round best, surely he beats it this time. My guess will be that's it's standardized so everyone has a fair shot with 9 match days. Rescheduled matches will means someone got certain number of points from more matches, giving them a better chance.

Yeah, it is still his, so no change, only score has gotten bigger. I think this 23 points is enough for overall yellow cap as well. But will double check that when season ends.

I forgot not to make a pick in this last round... because it's clear we won't be chasing the points above because it's too far away, so far I've been in poor form in Ligue 1 because it's a league that's rarely watched unless PSG is an interesting team to watch.

Well, only one game left to conclude this round, and I have 7 points in a round where most teams didn't have anything to play for so I should be pleased. 1 point should be enough to get the final yellow cap and a consolation freebet when most of the season eluded me. Glad to see Lens ended on a high, even though they'll be bitterly disappointed they stumbled in the last 5 games or so (most importantly, to PSG, but by then the damage was long inflicted).

Wasn't such a bad pool in the end, let's hope we all reunite next season for the follow-up!

But it turns out the risk was worth it: if the favorites scored 1.5 points, those who backed the underdogs could have turned the tables in their favor. At the end of the season, the results are always surprising, I didn’t watch the odds this time, but I’m sure the bookmakers saw this too and didn’t give good odds on the underdogs.

When I look at results in final round, my 1.5 point isn't bad result at all . I even managed to go up from 20th to 19th place. When I joined this pool I didn't expected that I will do great, maybe somewhere in the middle, but final outcome is worse than I expected.
Nantes - Toulouse is yet to be finished, but it won't change anything, so, congrats with a win and also congrats for everyone who ended in prize spots.

I magically finished 4th position and it wasn’t something I saw coming, but I guess I know who to thank 🤤 I had just 5 points in the final round, but that was only bettered by buwaytress and I was able take a decent leap from 6th to 4th. This is the only SuperBRU pool which I finished in the top half or prized position this season, so maybe it’s not that bad after 9 months of action, congratulations to other winners and thanks to the organizers.

Sent. Thanks for organizing! I seem to have had a lot of luck in the new pools, first place in Ligue 1 and first place in the Europa League, and I also remember three seasons ago, when I started, I won the Champions League. We urgently need to organize something new
