IMO, it was never worth it.
I bought a Shiba Inu before, and it didn't take long before I sold it. I don't believe in the power of memecoins because they are literally made for fun, and no projects are made to back them up. They are relying on the community to boost their market, but it could all end anytime, which means a dangerous asset to keep.
Well, other people have a different perspective, especially if they find it cheap. They want to buy it for the sole purpose of selling it when the hype comes. But what if it never comes? That's also the dangerous part about it.
Yeah I agree and even half wrong at the same time. Because they are not created for fun or entertainment or anything like that, they are created so that the creator would get rich, nothing more. It is true that we should stay away from them and not make any investments into them at all.
I believe that we are not going to get any profits from them unless we are the first ones to invest into some memecoin that grows huge, and that is unlikely because there are hundreds out there every year and only one may grow semi decently, and in a few years there might be one that grows large. So it is the smart move to stay away from ALL memecoins and never buy one, in the end you are just funding the luxury life of the creator and nothing more.
