Oh man, we are up against a lot of people that we don’t really have the energy to confront, or even talk about having a possibility of drawing with them. Madagascar is in the qualifiers stage of the World Cup. But judging from the Super Eagles’ previous performances, we can say that their games against teams like Madagascar 🇲🇬 and others can be speculated to be positive this season of the World Cup.

The Super Eagles took third position in the just concluded AFCON tournament and all their matches in the tournament were good and impressive to some extent. And if that performance is still use in the forthcoming AFCON tournament both in the qualifiers stage and the in the main tournament. The Super Eagles will do well. The just concluded AFCON tournament, Super Eagles would played the final with Senegal but the Referee manipulated the game.

Nigeria is use to being in group A of every starting but however it doesn't mean anything because if they are going to qualify they will, this is a group of two to stay and two to go out, so in the super eagles group, Morocco is to have an assured spot for the two that would stay because the country doesn't end in group stage and super eagles would also definitely be the second team because Gabon and Lesotho are small country with limited international players. I'm also seeing another group were super eagles are in group L, so how come they are appearing twice on different group? Or are my misunderstanding the group table?.

That is not correct. I disagreed with you on this. Nigeria come out in different groups. Last AFCON they were in group D in the qualifiers stage and in the World Cup there were in the Group C. And in the 2027 AFCON qualifiers they are in Group L. So it is not at the same group at all time. And as I said, Nigeria will qualify.

There's no guarantee that the Super Eagles will qualify so don't put much hope on them because they don't take playing for their nation seriously. However, I hope that they don't end up in a mess of struggling to qualify as usual because that's their own culture.

I find it difficult to understand why the Super Eagles are always repeating the same pattern on how to qualify for any international competition. They don't show some class of quality in them to just win all their matches and qualify easily.

Won't it be a mockery if Nigeria doesn't qualify for the AFCON, in a group with small countries. The level of disappointment will be so much that Nigerians will demand that all the players retire or the coach be changed.

I don't believe Nigeria won't qualify, i know that our players sometimes give us the shock of our lives, but this is not about winning the AFCON, but qualifying to play in the tournament, we must be there.

We must be there that's certain judging by the caliber of players we have and teams that fall in the same Group L with us.

The last time we failed to qualify out of the group stage was in 2017(Egypt qualified ahead of us) ever since then, we have been qualifying for the AFCON tournament every time. This year, I doubt if it will not be the same Super Eagles to  appear as top contestant for Group L for AFCON tournament qualifiers.

That being said, AFCON qualification shouldn't be what we should be debate about Super Eagles not qualifying to, because they will. The area we should raise an eyebrow to, is the AFCON trophy and World Cup qualification for the next four years. We should know better that before then, the majority of our current players may retire from football or may not be in good form to represent the Super Eagles for Africa tournament and the World Cup qualification.

The teams they met at the world cup qualifies series are African teams, yet they couldn't qualify, I won't be surprised if the Super Eagles don't also qualify for an AFCON tournament, because those guys have been disappointing us lately. However, talking about players that might retire, We don't have a proper preparation set up if players retire or get injured, at best what NFF Staffs will do, is enter the next flight and go to Europe just to scout for another European base player they can lobby to come and play for the Super Eagles, and i feel is one of the major reasons we've seen more players on the green shirt but less passion.

Congo National team who will be coming for the World Cup because of Ebola outbreak in the Country, they want to take a precautionary measure and approach so I’m wondering what would be happening to their fans who will be coming to support the team if they will also be quarantine as well, so I’m just thinking if any of the players are found to have tested positive for Ebola virus what will happen to the general National team.

However I’m going to suggest that if this happens then Nigeria should be taking their place in the World Cup should they be dumped out of the tournament because of the Ebola virus outbreak in the DR. Congo, because right now every precautionary measures should be taken.

We can say that this is attributed to bad leadership as African leaders are just naive and ignorant of many things but rather they only focus on how to enrich themselves and nothing much but I believe with time the narrative would change as we have seen some new African leaders with vision and are ready to further develop their country giving more meaning to their respective countries as a whole.
Currently, I don't think some of the African President's takes sports seriously otherwise they would have given it more attention like building stadiums and many more  sports facilities so that sports events could be effective in their various countries.

There's nothing black African leaders take seriously the love they have for money and spirit of embezzlement won't allow them build infrastructure and make things easier for their citizens rather they prefer to embezzle money and travel abroad for relaxation or for medical checkup.  

African leaders African of poor mentality that does not allow them to go beyond the limit they have been operating on ever since, this is why we see in the developed country today that is spend a lot of money to ensure that activities like sports are being taken care of, not only that they also ensure that this same development spread across other aspects in order for them to get the best of the necessary amenities to enjoy those services, now here is where the difference lies, in Africa, the politicians will prefer to engage public fund for their own personal use than for national building, well this is not possible with the Western world.

I am going to say that most of our African leaders are the ones giving every African the bad name they carry around the globe and virtually every criminal thinks he's only mimicking the leaders. But then, infrastururally in sports, there are still countries that give their best. The last African Cup of nations host country, Morocco actually had some good playgrounds because some of them still are not qualified to be called a stadium. They still have one of the bests stadiums in Africa and based on their recent improvements in football, we can agree they they have invested handsomely in this game of football. This is what I can say is the reason behind their many successes recently even though they gained some points and wins through some suspicious means but everyone knows how solid their team is which is why why they are ranked top of the continent. Senegal now one of the best leadership and team investment, and we can also see it in their performance too. The game of football is a given and take relationship, if you invest in it, you will see results but when you don't, everything will keep falling apart.

If I get your statement clear, Africa we don't have a poor background, African nations are rich in mineral resources that are exported globally and are all in commercial quantity that could generate big revenues to take develop the country's economy, power and other important aspects of the country's growth but the question mark there is the leadership. They care less of the growth and affairs of the nation and their subject's, all they want is to enrich themselves and nothing more. They are just power mongers and nothing much about them.

The outbreak of this deadly virus has changed the plan of the Democratic Republic of Congo. They will have to change their training camp and isolate for a certain period. Nothing has been said about fans since the players are the most important. It is possible that they would have to depend on the support of their nationals in the US.

The issue is a bit complicated because on the one hand, public health and safety are at stake, and on the other hand, fairness to the players and the country. Therefore, simple, healthy, beautiful and acceptable decisions must be made in a very balanced manner and without letting the joy of the World Cup fade away, so that no controversial issues arise from this and eligible teams from every country in the world can participate in this competition with equal rights.

If there's a recent Ebola outbreak in DR. Congo, the United States of America government quarantining the DR. Congo national team is the right step the United States of America government should take in order to prevent the virus from spreading, the fans of DR. Congo will surely be quarantine as well, but I think the fans of DR. Congo should go to the United States of America two weeks before the world cup will kick off so that their quarantine period will be over and they will be available to support their national team play in the world, and as for any of  DR. Congo player being found to have tested positive to Ebola virus, that player shouldn't be allow to take part in the world cup and the player should be sent back to DR. Congo so that the virus won't spread.

What's the pride of Nigeria taking their place in the World Cup. I also think it is what every country would do following the outbreak, the players can arrive early and stay for the entire number of days to be quarantined and it wouldn't affect their World Cup involvement.

For the fans, they can also be quarantined, or too bad they will have to stay back, and support from home. We Nigerians are not looking forward to replace Congo, they deserved the spot and should take all reasonable measures to be available for the World Cup tournament.

Not to deflect from the ongoing conversation ahead of the Fifa world cup competition  but it gladdens me to bring tidings about our Nigerian brothers winning in Europe.

Ajayi who plays for Hull City has just qualified to play in the Premier League Competition and from Turkey, our Paul Onucho and Andrea Onana have been announced winners of their cup game few days ago.

Nothing wrong with the caution taken by the US ahead of the Congolese arrival, all due protocols should be observed.

Based on my personal opinion and observations, I saw that CAF really wanted to reward Morocco due to the fact that they hosted the AFCON and that was why we saw all those drama, it has always been like that over the years,

So they want any country that host the African cup of nations to win the cup as a reward. That doesn’t really make sense, if things continue like that, then nobody will take the African cup of nation’s serious, because every country that host the tournament is the one which is going to win it.

This virus the country has will affect them because they will not leave there country the day they were supposed to travel for the world cup because from the former virus outbreak that happens before the quarantine usually take long before you could be cleared so actually DR Congo would be going very early like a month before there match or a month and weeks because there quarantine could take up to weeks or a month except there are other methods they could easily use to text them. After they have verified them is better they should remain in United States as long as they're still on the game because going back to there country would still put them into another Ebola quarantine before they let them in.

Yes, Morocco would have served many punishments, but I guess they were ignored because of their support for CAF on the continent, hence CAF ignored their wrongdoings in the last AFCON. This would really serve as a point of reference for referees' next AFCON match to be very careful and apply wisdom while officiating, because African football is at stake, and if anything of such nature happens again in the next AFCON and it escalates, that would be the end of CAF and African football and the world would put CAF on iignore list and would not want to have anything to do the the African football body again as a result of its bias and wrong judgement.

Those that are in position to do that will they want to do it, the CAF president and other decisions makers are the reasons somethings went wrong, for that I wasn't expecting anything from them, a national team had their victory and they are bringing shit to deprive them of what is rightful theirs such a shame.
