Bet insurance & cashout are similar to each other as they are intended to manage risk, however, they work in different lines.
Bet insurance will basically allow paying the fee to be refunded in case your bet loses, which is hella beneficial to get peace of mind without impacting possible winnings. Thanks to that, it is excellent for individuals who lowkey desire the sense of security but do not mind reimburse for it upfront.
Cashout, on the other hand, enables you to get an option of settling your bet prematurely, keeping the profits locked, or reducing losses on the basis of live odds. It is kinda dynamic & responsive, allowing you to have control in the event.
At the end of the day, whether to use either of them depends on your manner of betting. Bet insurance may become your choice when you are looking to have certainty on the game up front. And where you prefer to keep busy and adapt to the situation, cashout may be more your tempo. The two go hand in hand in a comprehensive betting plan.

I am aware of bet insurance thing, I came across it for the first time on Kryptogamers — a Hive blockchain based casino ( topic) — didn't bother to rise up into the club to use it though. I believe this is popular on parlay bet because in parlay it is harder to win all the games, but I read that the refund method is somehow an issue due to restrictions and requirements. Anyway, I think this is much better than having no insurance at all, since normally if one loses 1 match of 5, they won't get any and here is where bet insurance does its work by refunding part of the bet amount. I like this, on which casino is this parlay insurance available?

Hello, I wanted to start a conversation about an alternative to the cash-out options which has generated a lot of discussion lately in the forum. I know there are many other alternatives but this one stood out for me because it's like my first time of hearing about it - bet insurance. To put it briefly, " Bet-insurance is a betting functionality that allows players to insure their bets and receive payouts if they lose." I have not had any experience with it but I’m curious about what you all think. Have you used bet insurance before? How did it change your betting experience? Also, would you pick bet insurance over the cash-out option? Why or why not? Is this a kind of savings? So, when we gamble again later and lose, we'll receive a payout. I've never encountered a casino that offers or provides an option like this, and I don't think it's much different from casinos that give weekly cashback to players who actively gamble on their accounts. If I found a casino that offered this option, I don't think I'd hesitate to withdraw it, whether I needed it or not, I'd still choose to withdraw it. Similarly, casinos that offer bonuses or promotions that players can claim if they're interested in making a deposit. I've often encountered casinos like this, but I've never done it.

If you are hedging your bet then you need to realize that you are not going to receive a high payout.
Let's say you bet a 3 leg parlay, you have won 2 of the 3 games and if you win the 3rd game your 20$ bet will return 150$. Thatsl's 130$ profit, but you are a little worried and want a guaranteed payout. You decide to hedge the bet which means you make a bet on the last team left and take the opposite team than what's in your parlay. You are now guaranteed to win, but you you had to wager 60$ to win 110$.
With this scenario you either win 70$ of profit with your original parlay, or you win 30$ from the hedge bet. You obviously hope the parlay hits for the bigger win, but either way you are up.
Bruh, that hedging breakdown is solid, betting either way to lock in $30 to 70 is some first rate risk management. Hedging is essentially gambling against your own final leg in order to warrant a profit, but yep, you also have to giving up some upside for ensuring security. It is not necessarily flashy, but it is wise. Just be careful about the vig as it may swallow your edge or may throw off your EV. Hedge where the math is clearly favouring certainty rather than wishful thoughts, smart hustle, bro.

I’ll be honest. This sounds pretty ridiculous to me. What’s next? Gambling 401Ks where you can gamble with pretax money? Maybe gambling RothIRA accounts where you can gamble a certain amount of money per year and not have to pay taxes on wins. How about a gambling advisor who tells you how much money you should gamble on each machine?

I have not heard this before and if any casino has this it would have been in the ToS and some players would have used it. I have not seen this in any of the casinos I have participated. Betting insurance. I don't think casinos will allow this and if they issue out the insurance to players it will be specific players and not all the players in the casino. Gamblers will abuse the insurance unless they are conditions on the insurance policy of the casino.

Honestly speaking, this is the first time am hearing something like this since I started playing gambling. However, if this is true I think is quite a very big development for the gamblers because at the end of the day a gambler would definitely going to have something in return.
After all we gamble to win, so if this would work in all casinos, that means gambling would going to be extra fun and entertainment.

Neither I. The casinos might not allow it but if it will come from a third party insurance services, there won't be a way for them to be stopped. They will have no option too if that's what they'll do because the gambler that has lost will still have money once again. And that means that they'll still have some money to gamble again, so I think it will be in favor of the casino again if the gambler that has lost will have another bankroll to be spent.

I like this, on which casino is this parlay insurance available? At almost any bookmaker, just make a few picks for a multi-bet and there should be an insurance option. If I remember correctly there should be at least several picks (I think 5) and the odds should not be too low. But as I think it was already written in this thread, this is an absolutely unprofitable option, you pay too much for this insurance, it is as unprofitable as cashout. Or did you think that the bookmaker would give you money? The best thing you can find is boosts and cashback.

I don't think the gambling sites are the ones that are in charge of this, any insurance company may take it up that gamblers can also insure their bets, when lost they can get refund, but i want to bet with you there must be terms and conditions in which you may not be able to condole when told that this is what you need to pass through before being eligible for the refund they promised, so i don't want to see this as a buy idea, because take it or leave it, it will be for their own advantage more than what you as a gambler stand to earn form the insurance.

Also, would you pick bet insurance over the cash-out option? Why or why not? I often see bookmakers pushing bet insurance as a perk for adding an extra leg in a multibet and as long as you understand how it works then it seems like a good way to increase the multiplier on your bet and also potentially removing some risk from it. I've never used it, but read the info around it one time and it seemed to keep the bet intact if one leg failed - if you want to be a pro sports gambler you need to capitalize on such offers. I don't think I'd pay extra for this facility because it doesn't seem worth it or it might cut down your potential winnings quite heavily. I'm not sure that insurance is used for single bets and it's almost encouraging people to create more multi leg bets, which are the most lucrative for casinos because people are generally quite bad at judging the complex odds involved.

I don't think the gambling sites are the ones that are in charge of this, any insurance company may take it up...
It seems like you’re comparing the “insurance” being mentioned to typical insurance, like life insurance. But this one is actually not the same. This “insurance” is designed to lure gamblers into betting more and to place bets on the market they’re offering. In that sense, it’s really just a gambling strategy where the edge still stays with them. They just call it insurance to make it sound attractive, but the substance is completely different from what the name suggests.

If so be the case, we need to be extremely careful, because doing such could trigger for addiction in gambling and before you know it, the gambler has lost money beyond a reasonable doubt, as they continue to gamble all in the name of getting to a certain satisfactory level with their terms and condition for the insurance mentioned, not knowing its just a way of increasing more participation in gambling, and a strategy for them to engaged more gamblers to playing with the mindset of being under insurance, this is to an extent deceitful because at the end, they are going to get surprised at what is at stake for them.

I haven't had any experience myself and that's probably as i don't gamble that frequently as I use to do before. My last bet was the Chelsea Vs PSG game that won me some cool cash another reason for this is as the season was on a break but still wasn't that frequent last season too. In that game (PSG Vs Chelsea) I decided to cash out as I saw my targeted reward being reached. I still will choose the cash out option instead of some insurance policy that I have read from the thread that this are some kind of trap. I still will have to look up how the whole insurance thing works but for now I'll choose the cash out option.

Yes, in fact, everyone would do this, they would withdraw without thinking twice, and it would certainly be inconvenient for the casino to do something like that, in any case, I would also withdraw without a problem knowing that this type of option exists.
Perhaps some of us here have tried this gambling insurance. I'd like to know more. I personally take advantage of the weekly cashback I receive. Regardless of the topic, last Monday I received approximately $10 in cashback. I tried betting it and, fortunately, I was able to withdraw a total of $500. It was truly a lucky day for me. Perhaps if the casino I visited that Monday had offered this insurance option, I would have tried it with my winnings that day and set aside some of it. But unfortunately, the casino didn't, so I withdrew it without hesitation.

I have not explored the bet insurance option before now but it sounds like one which is going to be really interesting, having to be paid even when I suffer a loss, ofcourse I know it will only be a portion of my stake but it is a really nice now so I don't loose out completely as I would have, if the game turns against me but with cash out I have to be watching and have them firm predictive instinct to be sure that I am not going loose that game and if I am then I should exit with the offered amount, something most gamblers may not be able to get right.
Personally I will love to explore the insurance only that it may some with some conditions which I don't know about now but they will definitely have one so as to keep them the casino safe from much loses too, but with cash out I have to be on the estate always which I don't think is possible with me.

After placing a 5-6-match sports betting accumulator, I heard about a feature where you can cash out your bets before the remaining matches start if you have any winning bets. That's what came to mind when I saw the headline, but I've never heard of bet insurance.
Is there a betting site that offers this?
If so, please share it with us so we can take a look.
It sounds like a scam to me.

It might sound like that but it's not going to be interesting at all. Come to think of the other kind of insurance where you pay a certain amount for subscription and if the given conditions is not met, the insurance company will take your money and get more richer. If you use the casino insurance and pay for a subscription, then you will have to lose your bet to have access to your insured funds but when you win, the casino takes the money you paid for subscription. So, it's actually twisted.

Don’t call it deceitful because they’re transparent with their offer. If you’re just basing it on the word itself, you might feel deceived, but it’s still not the casino’s fault, it’s on us as gamblers since we’re the ones who decide. Bet insurance works like this.. you place a 5-leg parlay, and if one leg loses, you get your bet back in credits or free bets. It’s basically a promo, but to make it more specific and eye-catching, they call it insurance.
