This is not impossible as requirement to be fullfilled unless you have specific restrictions about sports to bet or odd that you can use.
The only issue arise from "forcing" people to gamble. More you bet, more you have the chance to lose (of course we are talking about games that have an house edge).
Personally I accept this as bonus only if is totally free. Even if this is linked to a deposit or similar I just avoid to use it.

I never get bonuses especially with a 35x wagering requirement. But if I get that, I will check the minimum deposit to get that bonus. If the minimum deposit is too high, I will skip and only deposit the minimum amount which will not be too high.

Yes, I completed the wagering requirements a few times... I am not sure about the amounts I wagered, in my case it's a few hundred dollars x35 or x40 (wagering requirements), which is ($100 deposit + $100 bonus) x 40 = $8k wagering requirements.

I immediately write off any casinos that use such high multipliers of wagering in their bonuses for exactly this reason. They only do it so they can advertise things like 300% deposit bonus up to $500 dollar, which looks like an amazing offer until you realize you'll lose everything. Some time ago, I felt satisfied and successfully met the wagering requirement. Based on the data I saw, the wagering requirement was around 60x. Its never been easy for anyone to complete this wagering requirement because 35x is surely huge, but I personally know one person because we were roommate few years back, and he has done good wagering on bonus with this won huge amount, but sadly casino never give this.
