I think it’s normal in dice, and you probably notice it more since it’s the last spin. I don’t know if devs would actually make something like that, and if they did, I can’t see a good explanation that favors them if they keep beating us on the last spin of a bonus buy.
Anyway, that’s your observation. After all, we don’t all play at the same times or in the same sessions, so maybe it happens to you but not to some of us.

I’ve been doing bonus buys on slots for a while now, and there’s one thing I keep noticing, the last spin almost always misses. Definitely, not talking about “once in a while,” it feels like 9 out of 10 times it’s just a complete blank.
hmm... maybe it’s just bad RNG or I’m paying too much attention, but I can’t help wondering if it’s done on purpose. Ending a bonus on a loss could be a subtle way to keep players chasing the next win. It wouldn’t even break any rules as long as it’s still within the game’s payout settings.
Have you noticed this “last spin curse” too? Do you think it’s pure coincidence, or is it one of those hidden tricks built into slot design to make sure the house always has the final word?
We don't have proof though, but in any case we can speculate that they are doing it on purpose so that we will go back and again as the psychology of 'near misses', we wanted to try and see if we will get that bonus round. So it's really like a very dangerous to see that kind of spin in the last game. Although in land base casinos that I played, I never encountered this kind of last play, near misses effect. Most likely this could happen in online? Maybe it's pure coincidence, or it could be by design by the operators themselves, but thee are no answer as we don't have any proof unless some developers comes out and tell us that's what the software of this slot operators made them to do.

I don't think I pay much attention to the last spin to observe what you are talking about and it's just for a few times that I buy bonus. You have to know that the RNG is responsible for which ever result you get, I don't think it was intentionally program for the last spin to be a lose, if it was done intentionally that means the game is actually rigged, because it's not supposed to be like that. Just my guess.

Yeah, it's just a coincidence, I mean, I've heard and seen stories where they say that their last spins are usually lucky. And yes, it is not uncommon for gamblers to start thinking that their last spins are either lucky or unlucky if they keep experiencing one or the other. This is just another suspicious belief on which people think that this is really happening. Results is uncertain so we cannot expect that same thing will came out on our next game. That's why we better accept the consequences of those actions we have done since results will not always show base on what we like to happen. People are just expecting something on their last spin since maybe they think about that this is make or break situation for them and maybe there's high chance to win that's why those if they lose this kind of realization came especially if cannot forget the last thing they have done.

Probably pure coincidence. Normally if Im on my last dollar spin, I just let it go since I needed to reload again. But I dont believe in the last spin curse since sometimes my last few spin let me still win with some multiplier and good drop down. Well for me its just like a story of some gamblers we all know that slots are randomly created to give results either its on first or last spin.

If you buy the bonuses that curse is real, I used to buy a lot of bonuses in different slots though not many different providers, only two of them, specifically Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming and the last spin curse is for real. In Pragmatic games like Big Bass or Sweet Bonanza series together with Gates of Olympus series which are the most well known series from this provider that happens almost every time to me. I have not played much Hacksaw provider though the same has happened to me there too. When I played Cloud Princess or Le Bandit some very well known games from them the last spin almost always was empty.

You already know the reason, which was you said above, you paid much attention. What if I ask to track every bonus buy? so if you buy ten times, record the first spin to last spin, see whether you're correct the last spin always miss or not. I never track my bonus buy, but I don't feel the curse in last spin, it's random from the first to the last spin. Most of the last is a loss because they set the winning spin earlier so once you hit already a decent multiplier on one of the earlier free spin normally the last spin is already dead spin.
That's happen when you gamble on unknown provider or non reputable casino, the developer set it to lure the gambler.

When you're playing slots you hope to already be in profit on the buy well before the final spin. i don't really pay attention if I am in a bonus, I just always hope the bonus pays big lol. I don't really think that it's designed to keep you chasing the next win though as i would probably stop playing the slot if I was always getting to the last spin of a bonus hoping I profit and never do.

We can only exergerate at times like this but absolutely improbable because nomatter what points or reasons we have come up with, it all just going to be fallacy unless it is proven. I don't like getting my emotions worried about those slot games that are almost to have the house suspected of manipulating their games especially when it comes to the spinning where mostly every outcome is irrational. It is just best you play for the fun, feel lucky when you win and don't let emotions weigh you down when you looses but do have it at the back of your mind that you are a vulnerable to the house edge when it is basically a game of luck.

Then what about the first spin? I remember winning some decent wins in the last spin but I don't remember any considerable win from the first spin apart from free spin, does that mean first and last spin is useless? It's just a coincidence and if a game is designed in that way then it is what we call as rigged and casino or game provider will lose their reputation if they follow such practices so you can consider it as just coincidence not intentional effort from anyone to make you lose more.

It all depends on the sample. It takes a lot of "tests" to determine the pattern. So it will affect the accuracy of the error you find. How many times have you had this happen? hmm... maybe it’s just bad RNG or I’m paying too much attention, but I can’t help wondering if it’s done on purpose. Ending a bonus on a loss could be a subtle way to keep players chasing the next win. It wouldn’t even break any rules as long as it’s still within the game’s payout settings.
It is possible, because if there is a motive to "get a benefit" in this way, then there is a possibility that it will be implemented. The problem is that we can't test this "theory" until we see the "inner code". But who would share such information when billions are at stake? Of course not. Have you noticed this “last spin curse” too? Do you think it’s pure coincidence, or is it one of those hidden tricks built into slot design to make sure the house always has the final word?
I can't say for sure what it is, but I would guess that it is a clever trick to extract more money from gamblers.

Bonus buy does not mean anything than a means to lose more money or to win more money. But as casinos are for business, expect to lose most probably. I think it is just a coincidence but what that is important is to hit the jackpot during bonus buy, but it is not always the case.
Alot of times, it's doesn't serve as a good decision but along the line it's required as a tool to level up the gaming tasks, settings and gaming procedures.Normally,if everybody understands the relevance of using these bonuses tools there definitely will be optimum clarity over the games, because these game have been designed to operate by coincidence.

I think that what you mention about the last spin is more a matter of pure mathematics and probabilities than a curse, given that the chances of getting it right are approximately 20 or 30%, which leaves a wide margin for failure. Also, 10 attempts isn't enough to test these statistics, since of those 10 attempts, you're only evaluating the last attempt. So, it all comes down to the same thing: for each attempt, there's a 70 or 80% chance of losing.
To have a rough guide, you should write down at least the results of the last 100 attempts and see if you win on 20 or 30% of those last attempts. Then you could say that the curse is merely a bias. However, if, on the other hand, you see a lower percentage, it could be a design pattern.

Since you said you have experienced it a couple of times, then it might not just be a coincidence but also part of the casino's business model that helps the casino to allow staying profitable and undefeated. If out of 10 tries, 9 was always giving you that same result, you can try it again for like 10 times more and observe if it's still repeating in same pattern and if it does, then you can conclude it's settings from the casino or on that game.

Not just for bonus buy, but when I have just a single spin left I tend to just give up and take it as if I have lost my entire money because it’s very rare for me to win it and if I manage to win with my last spin I’ll still lose everything back within the next few minutes. I have never had an experience where I had a massive comeback just with my last spin, I mean like going from the last spin to hitting an amount that I could actually withdraw - this has never been the case for me, so it’s safe to say that the last spin curse as your mentioned in your post is also affecting me. But, I’m not going to lie, it would be great to have something like a comeback even if it’s just a once in a lifetime experience for me. Going from $0.2 to $ $100 or more won’t be bad, and I don’t mean this type of win when I still have a huge bankroll, I mean the type when my last balance is $0.2 and then gets it to $100 or more.

Well based on the mathematical probability of slots you actually have higher chances of losing than winning 9 out of 10 times and considering this your speculations could be right. Algorithms work with these probability calculations and even if for example it is a defaultly programmed fail , probability could still be seen as right because of the loss/ win margins. Having to depend on luck fully can be a very tight space sometimes and for slots strategy isn't really a thing because of it's nature.

I have taken note of this. Maybe I would keep an eye on my games to ascertain if it occurs frequently. We cannot also be sure that it was developers who designed it that way. However, until there is strong or valid proof to back up this assumption, it will always be a coincidence.

I've noticed the same thing as you. I'm also sometimes confused as to why the last round has a higher loss ratio, but occasionally also produces fantastic wins. I'm confused as to whether this is just a coincidence or whether it's designed by the casino. It's still a mystery.
