Guys don't you mind if we make an official .org website for cloudcoin?

Hi, I'm a little unsure if you're asking for someone to set this up, or you are offering to do it yourself?

There's already a cloudcoin.org (unfortunately) but some derivative of the name could still be used.

Note that there is now an "Xcloudcoin", which is likely to cause some confusion...

Yeah if you will commit to becoming the dev from now on, I can support you with that.

I've been looking after CDC for about 6 months now, no plans to drop it anytime soon Smiley

No block explorer yet, but it is planned. Are you wanting to check you're properly synced? Here's the current network state:

blocks : 464830
difficulty : 2.08437690

block 464830 hash = f521b23deb9c0e4167bf3eae072d5f6b049a0b047e350f1fe37d803f502c654b

(You can verify you have the same block hash by doing 'getblockhash 464830' from the debug console, or RPC commandline)

Perfect... we should be all synced and on the right chain.

You can get the pool's information here http://mining.coreco.in  (stratum+tcp://107.170.100.196)
Port 3030 - diff 8 (for small hash or CPU)
Port 3031 - VarDiff ranging from 32 ~ 512
Port 3032 - Diff 256
Port 3033 - Diff 1024

Excellent. I'll update the OP - do you have a direct link for the CDC pool or should I just link to http://mining.coreco.in/ ?

Anyone getting coins from staking?

Yes, you should be.

In a recent 24 hour period (the whole day of 17th August, my time) there were:

- 200 PoW blocks
- 1210 PoS blocks
- 85 payouts by the PoS bonus reward system

If you do the getstakinginfo command (in the debug console on the -qt client, or RPC via commandline) it will give you an idea of how your stake power relates to the rest of the network. In particular, 'expectedtime' will give you an estimate of how long (in seconds) it will take to mint a PoS block. The lower this gets, the more chance you have of minting the next block (before someone else does).

Source says 7 days (60 * 60 * 24 * 7) but in practice it's more like 9.

I'll have a pool running ( I think) in the next few hours. I need to get the DNS setup correctly and that takes a bit of time!

Edit: As requested by the OP the pool is now accessible via http://cloudcoin.weminealtcoins.com/. Please let me know of any weird issues ASAP and I'll look into resolving them.
