I thought it would be easier than this for Liverpool. But Wolves made some difficulties for them instead. They even got close to making it 2-2. Liverpool also couldn't benefit from some more big chances.

But the team deserve to be appreciated the most this week was Aston Villa of course. Because they managed to make an unexpected comeback against Chelsea away despite not showing existence in the first half.

I don't know how he does it but Emery still keeps winning. 8 wins in a row here and 11 in total.

Liverpool won by 2 goals, what better could they have wanted, while Wolves' players could only score 1 goal and they stopped them with a lot of pressure and they won with the last 1 goal. Although the pressure was on Liverpool that if a goal was scored, the match would be a draw due to their failure and it would be a loss for Liverpool. Wolves' players kept trying till the end but they still could not score a goal that would have given them a point. Yes, there was a very good competition between them and both of them played brilliantly and created interest in the match. Chelsea took advantage of the opportunity and scored the first goal, but Aston Villa played well and scored two goals in the 63rd and 84th minutes and failed Chelsea. His hard work and keeping himself ready is a good development for him and if he continues to play like this, he will also get better with his performance.

Aston Villa current performance is amazing with their performance things are going to be entertaining in second half of this season because now it's three-way race if any team chocks, this could be beneficial for the Liverpool even they are out of title race, but they have good outside chance.

Liverpool in second half against Wolves were completely on defensive mode, this gave them shock, they need to be using their all sources for keeping things on good level still their players are not adjusted, and their performance is also not on level which was expected. Liverpool vs Leeds United is going to be interesting game because this will give them more confidence if they are able to win now after few minutes Arsenal facing Aston Villa, this could be the biggest game of this round with good chance for to stay at the top.

The next game for my favourite Chelsea is against Bournemouth (H).



I'm afraid the recent times have been tough for Maresca. Only 1 win in last 5 games... They really need an immediate streak to atone for it. Otherwise even Liverpool are likely to open the gap with them after coming from behind. 

This game tonight is a good chance. Bournemouth are living the nightmare. I guess this wouldn't be one of those surprising nights. They just lost to Brentford by 4-1. I expect Chelsea to win also.

Nine games without a win is not a good record for Bournemouth. I'm backing Chelsea to win. Bournemouth's winless streak continues due to the problems they are experiencing.
Maresca should not make the mistake of substituting Cole Palmer too early, as he did when Aston Villa turned the game around and denied Chelsea the win. If Palmer is not injured and is still able to play, let this creative player play until full time.

Arsenal will still continue to be trailed by Man City --- with Man City's match in a few hours against Sunderland likely to win the matter, there is no doubt for Man City that all players are almost pit, it is likely that Haaland will score again.
What I know is that some Sunderland players are absent because of the AFCON cup that's why I say Man City will win easily as I predict tonight.

We both got wrong. Chelsea were able to get only a 2-2 draw in the end. 4 goals in the first 27 minutes but 0 goal after that... Chelsea dominated the 2nd half but all they were able to do was 1 shot on target.

Moreover the club has parted ways with Enzo Maresca. Right before the Manchester City game ahead! What were they thinking? I don't think this was necessary. They were still not far away from top 4.

Arsenal have 48 points after winning against Bournemouth and now Manchester City need 6 points for this position and it has become difficult for Manchester City. He does try, he has scored a goal against Aston Villa although he had few chances to score but he tries his best for the development of his team. Yes, he did not score against Bournemouth, if he had scored in that too, his performance would have been better. Manchester City's match is going to be with Chelsea and we can hope that Manchester City will play well, they have recently drawn against Sunderland and a win for Sunderland will make them equal to Liverpool who are in 4th position in this league. So it is to be seen that Sunderland will do something good in their next matches, it can be quite good for us to hope for that.

These teams need these 3 points. In addition, Brentford, Brighton, Fulham, Everton, and Tottenham are also close to them.  If they win their respective matches, there will be a lot of interest in the league. This match is important for both. If one team wins, it will go up. If Brentford wins, it will also relegate Manchester United. And if Everton wins, it will relegate Brentford.

Manchester United  was a favorite team for that match because that is very high class team and that team has many expert players who gave confidence to play against big teams . But that team could not win last match against Leeds United which was heart breaking because millions of fans were waiting for the win of Manchester United  and performance of top class players of that team. Leeds United team players played with courage in this match and that was the reason they were successful to draw in this match which is big achievement because everyone was saying that Manchester United  will be winner of this match but that was not correct and Leeds United has to improve their position by winning against big teams.

Sacking of Ruben Amorim is good decision by Manchester United because during his stay, they failed to keep stability and consistency while their players were also not able to perform as they needed, now things could be changing, hopefully interim coach Darren Fletcher will be doing good enough for the rest of season.

New coach is going to be announced after end of this season, this could be good because now having any coach for long run is not going to work next game is against Burnley, this is going to be good for the new coach and team because here they can perform better and their confidence will be increased. Arsenal is now having good difference of points, this will be giving them some relief for few games.
