Any country running capitalism would be more susceptible to growth through innovation. People would be encouraged to create wealth for themselves and in return becomes of great revenue to the country, there would be healthy competition too and an increase in high quality goods at moderate prices owing to a competitive market. A free market provides users with the liberty of choice of patronage, with the providers of these goods and services focused squarely on customer satisfaction which would drive them to create goods that would attend directly to their clients needs.

 I don't if anyone has corrected you already but if not the.  Point of correction Africa is not a country, you either pick out a country from Africa for your illustration or mention all other with their continent.
For me capitalism support citizens freedom the most and that's why it is adopted by many countries. But even countries that claim they run capitalism they actually manipulate the market when they want to.

Capitalism is not a means to an end neither does it guarantee that a country will be successful. There are many things that contribute in making a country successful and you cannot say that because few countries that practice capitalism is successful that anyone who chose that we have the same result. Capitalism may work for the west it failed in Africa and that is not because of the system of government but because of the people that practice it. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, China, Morocco and many other countries practice other systems of government yet they are all successful countries.

Many countries that understands the facts that stable economy do not work under the principles of emotions but rather business, which brings lot of seriousness between both parties of the other other countries.

Most of the generating revenue that keeps the country flowing functions in a way of exchanging products to another countries based on a certain price quotation, this alone had already brought profits and gains where the citizens can share together to withstand the economic pressure.

Capitalism is what every nation does and so it's a win win situation with other countries too. Business negotiation, you chop, I chop.

Sure, an economy can survive without capitalism but it's a pretty meagre existence. Just look at North Korea - it resorts to criminal online attacks and the majority of its people live a subsistence lifestyle where one major problem like a year of drought would have dire effects. Even China was a shell of its current self before it started to embrace capitalism, before that Mao drove millions to their death through stupid policies that caused mass starvation. The Soviet Union is another example of failed central government - which can prop itself up for a very long time, but also collapse rapidly with just a few of the right catalysts coming together at one time. However raw capitalism can be very dangerous too, as corporations don't necessarily have the best interests of the wider population in mind and need to be effectively regulated.

Capitalism is the key to developing countries. I said this because capitalism aids competition, and where there is competition every one wants to be the best  and this will make the competitors work diligently because they want to win their customers heart with the quality and services they render, and by so doing the consumers will get quality products in a fair price because there will be so many options for them. But when there is no capitalism, it will slow down the growth and development of the country, leaving the consumers with little options.

Another good thing about capitalism is that it will provide job opportunities for people. So, to me, capitalism is the best because it doesn't just make the economy survive alone but helps everyone in the country.

I actually believe that some economies can survive without capitalism,most countries today uses a rich combination of each economy.Capitalism has proven to highly adaptive and productive in this part of the world which is why it seems like so many other economy that exists without it.Some countries can survive but it depends on effective state planning and cooperation.

What history has taught us is that socialism doesn't work. Capitalism isn't great, but we haven't found anything better yet.

Can economy survive is a different question, because it has managed to survive in socialist countries for many decades. The question is, are we fine just surviving? People in North Korea somehow manage to survive. Life sucks there, but they are alive, right? The country hasn't imploded yet. So the answer is yes, the economy can survive even in pure communism, but the people will suffer.

The benefit of capitalism compared to pure socialism is that in capitalism, everyone has the possibility to step up while in socialism, everyone was forced to be equally poor. EU countries are not purely capitalistic countries, they are a mix of socialism too. Just look at the EU healthcare, tax system and unemployment benefits and you'll clearly see that it's a combination of capitalism and socialism, which is way better than the US system where only money matters and stands above everything.

UK, Germany, France have a state quota of above 50% that means of every Euro you earn legally you give .50c to the state who distributes it or not .

I believe the ultimate goal of all economic actors is profit-making.

As ordinary people living in a region, we all simply want to prosper without the pressure of making a living, and the government itself seems to have its own perspective on preventing this from becoming rampant.

In my opinion, regardless of whether it survives or not, the control function is essential here, even if its implementation sometimes deviates from the context. But as long as it doesn't impact society, it's still understandable.

I think it is important to see that no economy exists in a pure form, like almost every country mixes ideas from different systems but then capitalism has been the driving force behind most of the world’s wealthiest nations. The USA, Germany, and many others built their economies primarily on capitalist principles like private ownership, market competition, and profit incentives. These systems encouraged innovation, entrepreneurship and investment, which fueled growth.

That said though, developed nations didn’t start completely as free-market economies, they often had some state involvement, social programs to guide development but the backbone has always been capitalist, so while other economic models can exist yeah, capitalism has proven the most effective in creating wealth at scale and driving national growth.

We might have to define terms first here. Also, I think this isn't a case of either-or. There are huge gray areas. You can't just choose one and completely shun the other. The two aren't absolutely mutually exclusive.

In what's called a capitalist society, you can find ideas that are closely associated with socialism that are translated into policies, and vice versa. Capitalist ideas are also translated into policies in what are largely considered socialist societies.

We're in the modern era already. Gone are the days when we have to be purely one or the other. That's not possible in the real world. That only happens in books.

Before, probably yes. But in today’s world where almost everything is run by businesses, it’s hard to imagine an economy without capitalism. Especially individuals or elites living off of capitalism, I doubt that we can completely erase capitalism in a country where it’s already been so big.

Let’s say a government is serious on controlling capitalism, they could minimize it over the years but i find it hard to imagine for it to be completely eliminated.

I really agree with you, most countries nowadays are capitalist countries and not socialite. Even China is running an authoritarian capitalist country and not completely socialite. I like countries that let individual have their own businesses. I see other form of government as old as the world moves towards capitalism instead.

But if it is about survival, countries can survive with other form of government as well, although capitalism is the best among them.

Being dependent solely on government facilities all in the name of the system operating in the country is an outdated system that deprive competition in price commodities in the nation and also encourage monopoly because such system never gives room for multiple establishment except its from that already existing source which is that of the government. In other to encourage skill acquisition and management the capitalism is never encouraged in a country because of its negative effects on the lifes of citizens. Not that because i have said all this about it that know country chooses it a preferred system but they do it i a regulated manner where the government decide the price of products

It is possible to run an economy without capitalism, but there is a risk of inefficiency, you will depend on the socialist model and the government, the economy will be commanded, regulated and managed by the state, the risk is that products such as farmers, fishermen and so on cannot be sold at an adequate price, you have to sell based on socialist results, this will hinder the economic growth of society in general, if there is no capitalism.

In essence, what we see today, if the state has control over the products and means of production or Dependence on the State means a communist system will apply, Well, if the economy is run by a communist system and if the country fails to develop products, it is certain that the economic collapse will be worse in that country.

History has already shown that it is the most effective economic model, that goes without saying. Communism and socialism have been proven to fail, however China is somewhat successful at keeping an authoritarian grip but got the richest when it had a much more open model. That being said, for capitalism to be truly successful in all senses, it must be supported by the general population and that requires fairness instead of corporatism which is the natural pinnacle. As long as it is properly regulated, it is the most effective economic model that all should employ for maximum efficiency.

Without some sort of capitalism, economies can't thrive. It's through capitalism that we can offer our services and products for sale, generating an income for ourselves, while thriving financially along the time thanks to the economical operations circulating in the country and in the world. It's a reward system where the more you work, more you receive in counterpart.

If it wasn't for this broken economical system of privileges for the upper castes of society, the practice of capitalism would be working much better, meaning we could achieve our financial goals in a shorter period of time, like previous generations used to do on their youth times.

Capitalism, socialism and other systems are not really what you read on paper. They sound so good on paper in their own story but in reality, they don't work as they are supposed to work. We don't have equal opportunities if I'm more rich and powerful than you. A rich and powerful businessman can ruin your business via various methods and one of them is to buy your business or steal your workforce by offering them premium wages. There are some dark methods but in developed countries, that's pretty rare but corruption is everywhere and capitalism makes it shine under the shadows.
