The pump is built entirely on hype and not fundamentally rational reasons. Cypto.com massively inflated the supply of their token recently out of thin air. Trump Media isn’t even going to buy tokens on the open market. Crypto.com is using the proceeds, partially for self-enrichment and partially to pump the DJT stock. It is all a big scam.

They are trying to give the token utility by integrating it with Truth Social, an app that is used mostly by old boomers who love Trump, a dwindling demographic. There are very few people who are genuinely interested in crypto on that site. This will end up looking like Kaito on steroids, where the site will be mostly filled mostly with bots and people from poor countries using AI generated content to farm rewards.

My suggestion would be to dump the token now and invest your profit in something more sound.

From a Crypto.com point of view (and a pure business perspective) the move is clever as it will gain access to a market it did not have and people on Truth Social will just buy in. For me personally I hold a good stake in CRO and will continue staking on Icy Rose card as bundled with Curve it gives me some cashback and does not cost me anything. If there were better cashback-options in Austria through local retailer, I would have switched.

The CDC move is certainly risky as it is a fine political line they are walking on. With the CRO unburn I anyway expect that the token will normalise around €0,06-€0,10, but with the hype it will jump in the next few weeks.

CRO is now at €0,30 - Personally I've found it pretty fascinating to see CDC go from "Cronos/CRO is just an utility token that Crypto.com happens to use" out of fear of the law, to CDC now fully becoming a "Make CRO Great Again" flagbearer.

So that's the reason why it jumped. My friend called me about it, I thought that he holds a lot of it but not that much although he's happy that he's in profit. I told him to take the profits but I'm not sure if he actually did it. Because right now, from the high that it made, it starts to drop because many have taken profit already. And another reason is about the correction that Bitcoin is currently experiencing. I am starting to notice that many exchange tokens are gaining traction now. Maybe it's still a coincidence but I am thinking of having some more of them for long term holding.

Well now we do know why this coin made some very big gains in this last week. It was up more then 92 percent in that time and it is alot more then any other coin.
And 1 CRO now is little less then 30 cents. It did go past 30 cents and was biggest gains in 3 years. It did drop a little in last 24 hours but also the rest of the crypto market is now have a 'correction'.

I took profit at €0,36/CRO and bought back in at €0,24. I do get good value out of the cashbacks.

Don’t listen to this guy, Q4 is typically a very good month for crypto in a post halving year and it will be again this year, only 4 weeks now we just have to get through September.

I have been buying CRO for a few years now, my average was $0.08 and I took some profit last week at $0.32.

CRO will hit $0.80 minimum by end of year and many are saying above $1.20 which is definitely possible too.

Bitcoin has pumped, Ethererum is pumping, and next it will be large cap altcoins like CRO.

If it wasn’t for the brazen corruption of the Trump administration, it would probably still be worth a single digit amount of cents right now.

This is the most bullish time for crypto ever, yet CRO is still deeply underwater for a lot of holders from the previous bull cycle. Recovering some of those sunk costs and dumping an investment without strong fundamentals, whose founders are printing billions of tokens out of thin air for themselves, is the most logical thing one can do.

Depends when you get in , yes if you got in at the all time highs last cycle in 2021 it’s not great for those who did. But those like many of us who only started investing in it last few years who go in below $0.10, it’s an easy 8-12x from that price by end of this year.
