It is prohibited sighting a politician or any government officials gambling in my country especially in a public space , its an eye saw, as in what message are you trying to convey to your subject or to the public that you are a gambler, an addicted gambler that you aren't responsible, it show or tells so many negative impressions about you, it doesn't speaks good about you as a person rather it leaves many with the impression that you just gonna divert the nation funds on gambling someday.

However, any government officials that is caught in the act of gambling is simply putting his job at risk because you have proven yourself to be a gambler but if you most gamble then use your number six.

I believe most countries don't allow these. But let's be honest, even how strict is, some of these politicians still can gamble, especially underground or in some private places.
Especially here in our country, the corruption is popular in the government, but yeah if you don't want to get caught, don't gamble in public places like public casinos.

Ordinarily, the thought of diverting the national funds to gambling is the major reason why this is a big issue, else, a government official is a human like any other person, except in a city where gambling is banned and it's a crime to be caught doing it.

Saying that to see a government official gambling in an open space is an eye saw, leaves me wondering if gambling is a bad thing, are you not trying to paint gambling exactly the way our parents painted it where the assumed that any body who gambles is an irresponsible person which I believe you know is not totally true, as irresponsibility as a result of gambling is an individual thing.
So, like I've said before, the only reason it's very bad for a government official to be seen gambling is that people will have the impression that he or she is going to embezzle public fund to use for gambling, outside of this, a government official is still a humans with feelings as every one else in that same country.

Ideally they should not because they are setting an example of themselves in front of the common people. But they will still do so because it is part of their habit to gamble and hence they will try shady ways to gamble if you try to restrict them, they are just like us humans

It is not gambling, politicians and their related people often extort money from common people, run prostitution rings ans gambling dens.

If you give power to such a person it is natural that all their vices will come up.
