Is this called a recover?

Hi, something strange happened to me. I've sended ETH to USDT ERC20 wallet (on a casino), but they saying this gonna be "recovered" and I have to pay a fee. If the network is same, USDT shouldn't be same adress as ETH?

Well, you should be able to check that.

If the Casino support both ETH and USDT, check your receiving addresses, if they're the same... then they don't need to recover anything. Since it would just show into your account.
If the addresses are not the same, or the casino does not support ETH to start with... then yes, they'll have to recover this for you.

From my experiences, most services (regardless of their nature) use the same EVM address across the different assets but you cannot just follow that rule, you have to check the address before sending.

It's suspicious to see different deposit addresses on the same network, on reputable casino platforms, they usually have the same address for the same network. May we know the name of the casino? this could help other readers better understand the casinos.

Then for fees, it's normal for them to ask you for fees, even at Binance they ask for fees that are larger than they should be, because it requires manual process from their side.

If the casino site supports USDT and ETH, then of course the address will be the same in the case of the same chain, this is the case on all platforms because all coins are supported by one address if the chain is the same. I don't know which site you are talking about, if you had mentioned it here, then some analysis would have been done to see their deposit system. But you haven't mentioned any site here, so it is not possible to see the issue by analyzing it. One thing you can do is if there is an announcement thread for that site here, then you can post this issue there, which can be reviewed by the op and give you a  solution.

I don't see anything wrong with that, it could be done for security purposes or for whatever reason they consider important. I have seen it in some high-profile casinos and I think you are viewing casinos from the angle of reputable CEX where such does not happen. Just be sure you copy the wallet address shown to you in your casino back office and don't assume anything to avoid the kind of stress the OP is going through right now.

I was just not understanding because there's kinda a 24h refund policy that I asked for and they said cannot refund what they don't receive so I've to wait up to 60 days and pay that fee , so somehow a 3rd party involved or something I think ( https://ibb.co/pB1rWW4H ).

By the way thank you all for you're time,  I gonna pay more attention in future , just expected to work like in all other casinos  .

And that's good that you've learned about it. Policies from each casinos are different and if it's about recovery/refund, it's really hard when you have to wait for that long. But, you no choice but to wait for it. So, big lesson for you is to check the deposit address if it's the one dedicated for the crypto that you're about to deposit because not all casinos/exchanges are having the same address per network for L1/L2 coins.

You are even lucky, they are a charging you a fee to have your coins recovered. Some cases of services I have seen don't even bother to recover the coins. They just consider them as "Lost" for good due to their strict policies. I don't know how much they asked you to pay, but you should probably pay up if you want to be helped. Consider it a fee for being careless, and maybe next time you try to be extra careful when making a deposit.
