In reality, however, it's the ordinary people who find it hard to move money. You go to a remittance center, you're asked forms to fill in, questions to answer, and so on. You bring money via plane, you have to make reports, satisfy power-tripping staff's questions, erase their suspicions, and so on. In the banks, you have to prove your financial capacity, your source of funds, and so forth.
Meanwhile, from where I am, government officials are moving billions not just within the country but also across international borders. Their stolen wealth easily reach their offshore accounts.
With Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, you can bring your wallets and wallet backups around easily as they are more easily portable than gold, cash for example, and you can control your wallets, coins, transactions (with non custodial wallets) without dependence on any bank to broadcast transactions. This is an interesting discussion on how to get through customs at airports with your bitcoins. What would be the best way to get through customs at an airport with your Btc?It's also necessarily to share another article. How to back up a seed phrase?

You know this topic kind of reminds me of the current banking system, which has just become an even bigger joke than what it’s been if that’s possible to believe. I not too long ago helped a friend close out there. JP Morgan Chase financial bank account they had about $5000 in the account and they had to call upfront and check as they did not think they had $5000 on hand that day in the bank. This is JP Morgan, the world second largest bank trying not to pay out someone’s final bits because they may not have it on hand or maybe not necessarily trying not trying to but you get the point fracture reserve banking is

You don't need reason if you are transferring your bitcoin to a non custodial wallet. So you have your privacy and no third party and that is the beauty of cryptocurrency, banks are not involved unlike fiat. If you are to move such amount using fiat then government will monitor it source and destination. Specially when goverment offialials circles want to put state money in their pockets.
Cronies awarding contracts to themselves and not supervising it because they get part of the meat. That makes most government inefficient. You are right, moving your bitcoin to another wallet remains your own decisions, is at your own discretion to move any volume of bitcoin without seeking for anybody's permission. You are in charge of your own bitcoin and you can make transaction any day any time. Unlike banks , where your transactions are limited and controlled by them and your account is being monitored. Thank God for Satoshi Nakamoto and the technology behind bitcoin transaction.

When you are transferring in fiat currencies, the bank will always want to know the reason why you want that transaction to be accomplished. When you are sending Bitcoin from an exchange to another exchange, the exchange you are using might ask you for a reason or ask for strict KYC verification if you are sending huge amounts.
If you are sending from a wallet you have access to the key, you don't need a reason to do that. You can send as much as you want without giving anyone a reason. I'm up for corrections!

If you want to know who benefits, just follow the flow of money. Because you brought up the issue of geopolitical action to mobilize money/wealth, my mind immediately thought of the slogan "winner takes all" that resonated after the United States' victory in World War II. "Winner takes all" means the United States took almost all the dividends of victory in the war. Economically, the US became the center of global capitalism. Politically, the US designed the world order (UN, Bretton Woods). Militarily, the US monopolized the initial nuclear power and global bases. Culturally, the US exported its lifestyle and ideology. In other words, World War II was not just about defeating an enemy, but also marked the birth of Pax Americana, an era of US dominance on the world stage. The factor that made the US "Winner Takes All" is a comparison of pre- and post-war conditions. Before the war, the US was in recession due to the Great Depression (1929). After the war, the US emerged as the largest economy, with approximately 50% of world GDP in 1945. Military and nuclear dominance: only the US successfully created and used atomic bombs (Hiroshima and Nagasaki). The largest naval fleet, military bases spread across Europe, Asia, and the Pacific, gave it status. global military hegemony. War technology (radar, early computers, jets, V2 rockets brought from Germany through Operation Paperclip) strengthened scientific and industrial dominance.

There is really no "reason" needed aside from paying your taxes. I mean who would move a billion dollars without having any reason anyways, it's really not that difficult. So we should realize that money moving requires a reason every time, no matter how small it is, just because they may not ask, doesn't mean you do not need it, if somehow for some unlucky reason they see yours, they can ask even 100 dollars, because everything needs to be taxed.
Every dollar needs to be taxed, that's how governments keep going with their scheme. They take trillions, and then spend it on stupid shit and then they say they are doing a fine job. In reality they are doing a terrible job and that money is wasted. If governments were companies, they would be bankrupted already.

I believe it's good that the larger transaction is, the more attention it gets from authorities. It makes sense, as if transactions are very small, then even if they're illegitimate, there are just too many of them and the scope isn't worth bothering.
Perhaps the bigger the sum, the harder it is to justify, because money itself becomes an indicator of influence and power, it draws attention abd makes some impact. Then again, I am not sure that such a system exists for multimillionaires or billionaires. I don't imagine they need to go through various checks to buy something worth a couple hundred dollars. Or maybe they do but with that kind of money, they just let the finance people deal with all that for them.

That is the different between holding money in the bank and holding it in bitcoin. certainly, everyone makes his withdrawal for his personal reason but the reason why you want to use your asset or funds should not be why you are denied access to it like it sometimes is the case when you are dealing with the fiat. bitcoin gives you complete ownership of your asset such that you control when, how and for what reason you are going to use your asset. that is what real ownership should entail.

This is the reason why Bitcoin is so hated by the government and traditional financial systems. It's because it's totally decentralized, you don't need a reason or give a reason to anyone for transferring money that basically belongs to you; it's your money, you are the only one who should decide when and why it should be moved, but with traditional systems, that's not how it works. You give them your money to keep it, and then when you want to move it, they open a whole questionnaire for you to answer before it can finally be done, and you might even need some signatures. People nowadays see Bitcoin only as an investment asset and they believe it is only good for making money, but if they realize the true potential of Bitcoin, they would be shocked. What's unfortunate is that most people don't really care, they do whatever they are asked for even when they are using their own money, they will provide any proof, any document, or whatever the bank asks fromm them, but with Bitcoin, nothing is needed.

The level of people involved determines the way they manage financial issues at all time. The low level individuals find it difficult spending without proper scrutiny to avoid losing financial stability or freedom due to mismanagement issue but the high level once don't need such before spending because those minor expense won't have anything to do with their freedom financially. In as much as money is not easy to get and very easy to spend but can be properly managed that's why there must be tangible reasons to spend any amount one wants to spend no matter the amount

Banks are only being security conscious on who authorized the withdrawal, i don't see it as a problem. Banks main aim is to ensure maximum security of your money, whatever it will take them to protect your money, you can't blame them for doing their job as they should. If you see this as a disadvantage to banks, you should also see the disadvantage that once someone has access to your keys, all your bitcoin are gone with nothing to help for recovery. Passing extra verification when withdrawing large amount is understandable to me, i don't see problem if banks takes those extra step.

Banks have a privacy policy and all banks in the country are not run by the instructions of a central bank. And banks follow a limitation, so even if someone wants to own money, they cannot easily transfer unlimited money from the bank. So the best way is if you have a large amount of money that you need to transfer at any time, then it is better to keep that money in Bitcoin, although it is volatile, so the price of Bitcoin can decrease at any time, which can cause you to lose, and if the price increases, you will also get profit from it. So the money that you keep in Bitcoin should be kept as an investment. But here you will get privacy and at the same time you will get a freedom due to which you can transfer that money at any time of your own will without any second authorization and accountability.

This shows that the government controls how you use your funds provided that you have put it in their custody. Keeping too much fiat in the bank is not my thing because fiat depreciates in value. Bitcoin has already given you the freedom to be your own bank and if you don't take advantage of that opportunity, you allow third party to do whatever they want with your funds and you don't have a say.
It's good to some extent that the government monitors what goes into the account of people because the government is supposed to be our gatekeepers when it comes to living a standard corrupt free life in a country so it is only when they have a check on things like this that they're able to find out people who loot public funds, people who swindle innocent people, fraudsters that go around stealing and duping people off their hard earned money and so many other discoveries on bad people. I don't think it is advisable for everyone to have 100 percent access to financial freedom. It is not everyone that's like me and you. Some people are cheaters who go around to take what does not belong to them forcefully, so we still need the government to check those things or put them in proper check. But where they miss it all is when government official play a biased game in carrying out their responsibilities, applying favoritism in their duty work and collecting bribes from people that ought to be dealt with and on the other hand punishing the innocent people and making them go through hell on what they never signed for is where the total destruction came into the system and should be curtailed.

Why do they ask you for a reason about the money that will be moved, isn't it your money, the fact is that if you save so much in the bank today they will use your funds to lend to others and they get a profit and that's how banks today accumulate their profits, using customer funds to find new customers with interest determined for profit and with a targeted tempo, if you move money for no apparent reason it will certainly affect the financial stability of the bank itself even though it is your money, that's why the owners of large funds are always their priority, because that's where they can have a life.
This geo-political reason can be great because maybe in some countries there are political tensions that are actually very disruptive in terms of the economy when there is a large-scale transfer of money, of course, it will be a concern for anyone, but the way it is resolved usually depends on how strong your connections are in the government and in the bank, this will help you in a faster resolution, but I am sure that speed is not a day or two days or a week, therefore it is better to store in bitcoin, we can do it quickly and can be moved anywhere.
