Blockchain wallet have break the record of becoming the worst crypto wallet of all, there is no other worst wallet like this one and it's a shame that some newbies are still downloading this crap wallet on app stores.
Here are few reasons why this crypto wallet will probably win the title worst crypto wallet of all time.
Non custodial is a complete joke to them, they are far from it, you need your email and password to log into your wallet.
I have this wallet for years now, left few Bitcoin in sats in the wallet and few other coins but I can't log into the wallet anymore, nothing changed because I wrote my log in details down.
They are still sending out email to verify some shits to all registered blockchain wallet users, the stuff that looks at lot like scam attempt if you get it.
They don't reply or try to fix problems that their customers might be facing.
If you don't want to waste your time, money and energy, avoid blockchain wallet at all cost, they have my respect for been the sucker punch of the world most worst crypto wallet of all time, I'd give them that.

I don't like blockchain.com wallet and I would recommend everyone to avoid it, but they give you a seed phrase and that's enough for recovering your wallet. You have to verify your identity on blockchain.co, only if you want to use their exchange. Anyway, I agree that people should avoid blockchain.com. Blockchain.com wallet is close source and there is no way to know how the keys are generated.

It's a close source wallet so it's not good to use. You can use your blockchain.com wallet with mnemonic seed and import it to Electrum wallet. With Electrum wallet, you no longer need any email to login. Just open a wallet file, type a wallet password and access your bitcoin in Electrum. However, don't think if you import Blockchain.com wallet mnemonic seed to Electrum, it's done, you must move your bitcoin to a new wallet created by Electrum wallet software too.

The wallet is close source. The seed phrase is generated online. How can we know if the seed phrase generated on the wallet can not be accessed by blockchain.com developers? It is one of the worst bitcoin wallet that I have ever seen. I totally agree with this as we always do.

If there is a better Bitcoin wallet that can be downloaded, why should you choose the wallet. Ease of technology with the many availability of bitcoin wallets such as electrum, bluewallets and other special wallets including those that support more than one coin such as unstoppable, then why should you use a blockchain wallet that you mean. What should be done is research before choosing to use a wallet.

I don't know if there is a worst crypto wallet, but blockchain.com is not a recommended wallet and i do not know why people still use it. If you visit this section of the forum you'll find an endless complaints about this wallet. The only reason why someone should use this wallet is ignorance and lack of knowledge, if you are in this forum, you should know you have so many better alternatives.

They don't reply or try to fix problems that their customers might be facing.
Actually, they do respond, but it takes nearly three months. Your situation is similar to mine, but mine was generated in 2014 and requires a password and an email address, even though you have a complete set of backup seeds. If your wallet was created as an HD wallet and still has funds, you can try importing it into Electrum. Some people here have had success recovering funds from blockchain wallets by importing them into Electrum.

3 months for a reply acknowledging a request is really way too long. Do they have a lot of customers nowadays? Kinda surprising if that was true. Then again, we have so many business having slow support response time nowadays, not sure if they just want to save costs or there are other reasons for that. if you are in this forum, you should know you have so many better alternatives.
Yeah, I guess some people know them first and just stick with it because of familiarity. Even to this day, I'm still hearing people using an exchange address to receive payments, even though they know it's risky.

This is where I fucked up, I don't know the importance of recovery seed at the time, I just wrote it down somewhere thinking all I need to log into my account is email and password, I relent so much on it without doing much of a research. Thanks for your replies I guess the fault isn't the company alone but mine as well, I should have secured that recovery seed more, that time I have other crypto wallets that work similarly in the same way although they are birds of the same feathers because similar stories was everywhere online. The reason why I created this topic isn't really about my losses but the fact that they are still sending mail to my inbox shilling their crappy services, I was a newbie and we still have newbies today I don't want someone else to repeat the same mistakes as I do.

A backup seed is very important because that's the only backup you can use for recovery when you forget your password, PIN, or any case that makes your wallet inaccessible. If you still receive email from them, I suggest use the unsubscribe button provided in the email. About newbies, we can't prevent them from repeating the same mistakes since they don't have much knowledge about wallets. What we can only do is to share what we experience. If a newbie found your post like this, I'm sure you help them a lot to avoid blockchain wallet.

Blockchain.com wallet is close source while if you use Blockchain.com exchange, it's is not a good exchange too. https://walletscrutiny.com/?platform=allPlatforms&page=0&query-string=blockchain.comThe seed phrase is generated online.
It is another risk as a web-based wallet, people must create their wallets with blockchain.com when they are online. While there are very easy to use and light in storage SPV wallets like Electrum wallet softwares to use on both computers and mobile devices, I see no need of using blockchain.com wallet at all. Electrum is a SPV wallet, open source, non custodial, light for storage, and you can create it offline as well. [GUIDE] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum. The paranoid user's security guide for using Electrum safely. With blockchain.com wallet, it gives three options for transaction fee when you broadcast your Bitcoin transaction, but it's not completely control on transaction fee rate while with Electrum wallet, you have full control. If a wallet was created by blockchain.com wallet, you can get its wallet mnemonic seed, import the see into Electrum wallet, and can broadcast your transaction with better control. After moving all bitcoins in that wallet, let's use a new wallet created by Electrum; but don't delete your wallet (created by blockchain.com and imported to Electrum). Sigh... why delete a wallet instead of moving it aside and keeping the old copy just in case? You should never delete a wallet.

Blockchain.com (used to be known with .info domain) is the worst and should be avoided mainly because they have incompetent developers and in my opinion certain things are inexcusable. It is normal to see bugs, even serious ones in any software but stupidity is not acceptable. For example one of the stupid things this wallet used to do at some point was using random.org to create the ephemeral key needed for signing! That's incompetence and there is no way it can be justified otherwise.

It is worth noting that not even Atomic Wallet (which I consider a close second) made idiotic design decisions such as this. Blockchain wallet is certainly the worst.
