1% of income is quite normal, I personally sometimes spend 5-10% of my income, because the income in my country is quite small, if I only put in 1% it seems like I'm just playing and then leaving, because it's only $1-3 from 1% of my income, that's why I spend more but I've managed my finances as best as possible so as not to exceed 10%

If we try to calculate evenly, excluding those under 18, based on data from this websites, the average amount spent by Swedish citizens is €296 per person per year, or €24.67 per month. Of course, this isn't just data for active gamblers, as I don't have the data for that. This is a global average, including those who don't gamble.
