In gambling terms, it’s massive. Casinos are built on much thinner edges, a roulette wheel gives the house just a 2.7% edge. If an AI can consistently tilt the odds even slightly in your favor on short-term BTC movements (“Will Bitcoin close above $60K today?”), then you’ve essentially created a new form of skill-based gambling.

Think about it:
🎯 Sports betting depends on human performance.
🎲 Slots are random with fixed odds.
💹 But short-term crypto betting? That’s a data war — AI vs. AI, traders vs. gamblers.

Would you trust the AI’s call? Or would you still follow your gut?

My guts hasn't actually helped me that much when it came to gambling, Ai on the other hand can't be depended on completely because the innovation is still pretty new and most Ai models are still learning the market, so it's absolutely improper to start using Ai as a means of gambling, there is every indications that the predictions we get from the Ai wouldnt be as correct as even that one we are able to come up by outself, what then becomes the essence of gambling using Ai?

For me though, i won't completely trust Ai calls, but also I won't completely trust my gut to lead me aright as well, I am just going to make decisions based on my personal research, if what or result I end up with falls in-line with what the Ai is also predicting, then I would go ahead and bet, but if not the same, will always choose to go with the potential outcome discovered from my research.

If what you are saying is true, dont you think it would have a bigger impact if it were used in trading instead of gambling?

If an AI can predict short-term Bitcoin movements with 60% accuracy, it is a tool for algorithmic trading. Why use such a predictive tool for a single bet when you could use it to make thousands of trades each day, turning small gains into large profits?  Why arent we seeing these supposedly accurate AI models taking over the market already?

Will such AI bot work in the long term? Probably not. What if a million AI bots make the same prediction about a price movement, but the prediction goes wrong? If those people don't research, they will fall for that and lose their money instead of making money. They need to realize that AI can not accurately predict what will happen to Bitcoin. Perhaps they can predict where the price will move so they can benefit from that. But AI will difficult to know for sure where the price will move. It is better for people not to rely on AI to predict Bitcoin moves but to use their skills and analyze the movements. But we can not do anything if people trust that prediction from AI and use it.  But it is better they don't regret it if they lose money because that is the risk that they may get it later.

I don't see any real advantage for the player but a serious issue for them (unless few candidate of Nobel prize that like betting ).
IF they can access easy and freely to such instruments...WHAT it could be possible for big companies that could hire groups and teams?
I would never try to focus on this features. They have already good instruments, it's only player's ability to find a gap in their odds.

There will definitely lose their money since cryptocurrency can be unpredictable most times and relying on AI to make 100% Bitcoin future price prediction for you is somewhat not something we can bet on, unless and if not that we add some other ingredients that make up for the effective predictions of the market via AI assistance and not a dependable tool as this thread suggests it to be.

Meaning, the program inside the AI was still created by a human being. In short, the prediction still ultimately comes from people — the only difference is that it was turned into a program within the AI.

There's no logic in what you're saying. Naturally, algorithms for artificial intelligence are created by humans... Are there any other options? Something like artificial intelligence created by raccoons, for example. I hope you understand what this statement looks like.

Too much expectation from an AI, it's not a fortune teller to begin with. It can provide you hints and technical analysis and so many things to compare, but it can't tell the exact what will happen in the future or even just few days. While technology improves, more people don't use their common sense, really.

They put their common sense aside and prefer AI because it is practical to use... according to them, it may be reliable, but for me it is only a tool and is not guaranteed to be accurate in any bet.

AI is only a tool... the rest is up to us to decide on the bet.

The both of you have given out really wonderful opinions, if the ability to correctly or to accurately predict the outcome events in the market was actually very possible, don't you guys think we all will be dollar billionaires or even trillionaires by now, same goes with being able to accurately predict the out come gambling games like sports for example, or even being able to know when exactly we will play games like slot or casino games and win the highest jackpot, alot of casinos would have folded up because gamblers will be winning amounts of money they may find very difficult to pay..

This is some thing many are believing Ai to come and do? I see believes like this as nothing but jokes, Ai can't correctly predict crypto prices because most of the time, there are no patterns, crypto prices go up or down based on demand and supply, and because of this, it's hard to accurately predict it's price movements without simply just guessing and hoping one is right

Companies are probably already using AI to help sharpen their predictions related to sports, crypto, politics etc. I feel that it's only a matter of time before the public follows suite.

Absolutely right. When I ask chatgpt to help me make a prediction for the bitcoin price for the week ahead, it first finds me several options on the Internet, and then also offers forecast options from negative to positive. The price range is quite large, but it's still better than nothing.

I don't like AI much lately. I think I got used to it. (talking about chatGPT v5.0 btw) I don't know the others but chatGPT5 has been pretty boring nowadays. It feels like It is only repeating what I told it. I don't really trust its math calculations as well because I have seen it making many wrong calculations before. It is cool if some people can make use of AI that way but then if every follows the same strategy, then the edge will be gone. If AI can really make that much of a difference, it is only a matter of time before people figure out how to win. When they do, then this AI thing won't function anymore.

I'm not a believer in AI in the case of games, trading or cryptocurrencies There may be more specialized programs based on technical analysis and with advanced tools, but this is never the same as natural intelligence and that is what still makes the difference Things with AI still have a long way to go and that alone suggests that it is not a guarantee.
