Yes if electricity is free were ever he is he won’t incur loss but the question is how can someone get free electricity  without paying for it I really don’t think there’s anywhere electricity is free except someone who is so rich and kind is the one paying for your street, there was a man some years back in my street he was so rich and very kind and he decided to pay for electricity for everyone he did it for a year.

In my country, there are still places where everyone pays a fixed fee without a meter. But the contract generally prohibits using this electricity for commercial purposes.
An interesting example has already been discussed: you can rent a hotel room and set up an ASIC there, but that usually results in a slap in the face.

Even on this forum there are people with free electricity, but they are in no hurry to make money from it.

Buy one powerful miner instead of 10 weak ones. You'll save time and electricity.
I've only done this when electricity is very cheap, so you can buy an ASIC C9 for $20 or get it for next to nothing. But I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for equipment with low hashrate.

It is often better to take a serious cloudmining.
I'm mining cpu and gpu 24/24 because it's winter...heat paid is not completly lost.
But in summer I will certain certainly stop or only few hours weekly.

The ebayminer and seller are unknown to me ,

but the key is they are quiet .   I use louder miners but I can manage the sound.


I say use 2 or three miners

Frankly trying to mod a loud miner like I did gets more hash and is not costly to set up.  But they will use a lot of power.


The units I link burn 100 watts and 165 watts each. This is around  7kwatts a day


A modded 1 board t21 burns about 1000 watts this is around  24kwatts a day.

So pay 900 for two small. Ones and burn 70 cent to $2.10 in power each day

Or pay 1000 for the mod of the 1 board t21 and burn 2.40 to 7.20 a day in power.

You can see in a year if your power is 20 cents a kwatt you spend 1.40x365= around 540 in power for small ones.
AND YOU SPEND 4.80x365 around 1800 in power for the bigger high hash model.

For many years now cloud mining has been Ponzi scams.
If you are mining with CPU/GPU then you are mining altcoins as BTC CANNOT be mined with them. You can sell the crapcoins for Bitcoin but that is NOT mining them.
