I am a newbie, having just registered, but I've been reading and checking this forum since last year, as many new platforms and social media sites have emerged for cryptocurrency. Is Bitcointalk still relevant, and how long will it remain relevant?
If you search, then you will find a lot of crypto platforms that have come and gone as well. But Bitcointalk is the very oldest Bitcoin community. If you really read the discussion of the forum, then definitely you will find it relevant. How long do you feel Bitcoin will exist? Until Bitcoin exists, the forum will be relevant. Because the forum was created by Satoshi, though it was later teleported to the new domain, the goal was to learn and discuss Bitcoin.

The goal of the forum hasn't changed; hence, it's still relevant. You will find updated information about Bitcoin on this forum. Not only Bitcoin, but a lot of altcoin discussion or announcement threads exist here from which you can learn a lot of things. So I can assure the forum will exist and be relevant as long as crypto exists. Even if Theymos wants to shut down, we can teleport to new domains since a couple of users archived the data.

I don't think the people you mentioned are important or influential, especially that little Chinese criminal CZ who paid almost $5 billion to avoid being in prison for the next 20+ years, and also claims that 99% of people will lose their coins if they keep them in non-custodial wallets.

If you think real things happen on social media, you always have the choice to spend more time there than here.

Of course, we all have an option. I started my topic with the word 'is' and want confirmation that Bitcoin is still relevant, not to stir up something. I'm locking the thread now, in case someone wants to know if BitcoinTalk is still relevant; these are the best answers you can find.

Thanks to all.
