What are some of your beliefs or superstitious about gambling?

What is a gambling ritual or tradition you like to partake in or perform before (or during) a game?

Back days when I just started gambling, I noticed that there's a particular shirt if I put on, I do win most of my bet. This made me start to feel that the shirt bring me luck. Whenever, I want to gamble, I prefer wearing it but one day, I lost huge amounts of money with this shirt on. I didn't still give up on the shirt till it tore and became useless. It was later, I realized that it was luck that made me win all those bet and not the shirt.

This one is common that if you stop gambling, you have lose your chances of winning which makes a lot of gamblers to continue gambling after losses upon losses. These are all superstitious belief.

There was I time I used to believe in those superstition and it somehow work for me but I just realized it was just luck or coincidence but it wasn't accurate. Sometimes superstition will make you believe it works for you but when you want to trust in it then it disappoint you. My own superstition that I used to follow or believe before was that whenever I see numbers on my dream, or if I had a conversation with someone in the dream and they spoke to me about a particular date or time or even year, I will use those numbers to predict lottery and it usually works for me back then but when I was confident about it and staked with a huge amount then I lost.

Not with a shirt, but I had this superstition where I would win a lot more when my girlfriend would be with me in the room. She would be on the phone in the bed just minding her own business but its like I could get better odds or something, some of the biggest wins I got gambling online she was here. Of course now I don't think this was real, but I would always wait to gamble when she was here at my house.

My crazy level is low when it comes to superstitious beliefs. I will probably pick the same game and same bet amount for a while if I ever won a huge win from that and it happens with slots more often. And every gambler got such kind of belief that doesn't mean a ritual or something but hoping to repeat what we did back on the similar situation. Some may touch their gingers, some may tap, some may blink the same number of times and some may touch their ear and some may wear the same clothes and the list goes on...

I have no such belief or gambling ritual I perform before or during gambling, I don't believe in such stuff, though I absolutely believe in spirituality and believe that everything in this life has their spiritual side..

Well, maybe I was wrong to have said I don't believe in gambling rituals, they exists actually, and it does work for some people, it simply involves doing some spiritual cajouring, finding the person's luck spiritualy and drawing them to it, making the win their game at the time it's shouldnt be so..
But I am not interested in such stuff as they all have negative sides and very huge repercussions which many who are into it don't usually realize..

I will prefer that I be patient and allow everything in my life happen naturally, my winning, my making money, the good life I desire, the big houses and expensive cars, I would prefer they all come naturally instead of conjuring and forcing them to come to me when it's not yet time for me to have them.

I usually don't have a superstitions and beliefs in gambling but I believe that playing free spins or testing games allows you to win more. Based on my experience, I usually win most of the time when I am using free spins and it's not a lot but the multipliers are good and sometimes when I try a new gambling site, they have some sort of free money or demo and most of the time my strategy works, I'm not sure if it is because the bankroll were huge or they do some tweaking to make the odds in favor of the player or part of their promotion,

I don't think that any super natural belief could somewhat provide any kind of real help on my gambling activities.
I am trying to keep always my focus 101% on "numbers" and the match. I would not be distracted by something not related to the game.

Since I often play with friends, we sometimes just flip a coin. The side that lands on it is a sign of whether to play or not. Everyone understands it's a joke, but when it lands on heads and not tails, and the next game is successful, everyone naturally expects to get more heads as a sign of success.

Too bad I dont have any supposititious belief or anything sort of that. Real effort and luck is all I need to gamble.
I understand many people have one or more things they believe happens in gamble, while they believe in those things, you cant stop them from letting that believe go away. Until they come to their realization.

I could remember years back. I once believed saying a prayer before betting on my sports game might influence the outcome. Lol, after so many prayers mothing happened. I just stopped doing that.

None, I don't have any superstitious belief attached to gambling.

When we gamble on sports, there is someone else doing the opposite of what we bet, despite our belief, one side has to take the win while the other lose. Gambling is about luck and skill, i don't bring spiritual beliefs or rituals to gambling, if those things actually works then all who practiced are supposed to going to put the gambling platforms out of balance. More win for gamblers and too many losses for the house will collapse the company, I don't think it works, not part of my belief.

No, I don't have superstitions about gambling. I am far away from that thing because gambling is not related to some magical things. I don't have any gambling ritual or tradition I do to partake before or during a game. But I admitted that some people will do something before they gamble and unfortunately, I don't know what they did because they will hide that from others. That will be okay because they believe that can help them to win. But not many people do this as they see gambling as related to luck.

When I was a kid, there was a saying that you are so unlucky that you have foul hands. (bad odor) It's cards that we mostly play, so you handle the cards, and also one of the players will distribute them before the game. No banker or dealer. Whenever someone gets unlucky, they will also say that they will shuffle the cards because in the last round, the one who did it has a foul odor hand. 

So whenever I play poker, it has become my routine to wash my hands before playing to get rid of that unlucky foul hand.

I know that having some superstitions do not work but somehow they help to keep someone "sane" while gambling. Or rather they help someone to find "closure" during gambling whether the outcome was a loss or a win.
Mine are choosing to gamble early in the mornings or late in the evening because I believe it will make me win rather than lose. Also clicking fast on the spin button than clicking slow because I also kinda believe that it may make me hit the jackpot. These are the two I can remember for now that I have observed in myself. Maybe there are others but I cannot tell.

I thought I’m the only one doing this but I do clean my hands and sanitize it before I play gambling. Even if I’m on losing streak I do rub alcohol to my hands hoping that I will cut the bad luck.

Sometimes it’s working but most of the time no effect but this becomes my tradition whenever I gamble. Not totally a superstition anymore since I’m only doing it now because I use to do it already.

These things don't actually work so there's no point of me doing any of them. There are people that think they can win more when they put on a particular shirt or tap their phone In a certain way but that is just a waste of time. You cannot do anything to attract luck, you can only hope to get lucky. Gambling is simply a game of chance and luck, superstitions have no effect on it but then, everyone is entitled to have their beliefs

Although I have never gambled in that way, I have often noticed that when the desire to get something arises in my mind, if a thought comes to my mind that I am going to get the thing, in most cases I really got that thing. Sometimes when I trade, I realize without my knowledge that if I trade on this token, I have the possibility of making a profit today. If I really trade on that token, in most cases I have made a profit. I don't know how it happens or if it is something miraculous, but it really happens to me. Although I don't believe in superstitions. But I have seen my friend vow before gambling that if he goes to gamble, he will donate some of the money to the needy.

I dont belive in luck and I never plan my bets in advance. Still, I like to have small rituals while I play like organizing my space or taking a short brake to calm myself. It helps me enjoy the game relaxed and focus on the moment. For me, gambling is more about experience and intuition than predicting the outcom.

I sometimes wear red while wagering, I think red is a symbol of good luck.
I never cross my legs while sitting at the table, in here people say it can bring bad luck.
I have a small charm, i call it a lucky charm, that I keep near the chips or the screen, as if it were a lucky charm...
Sometimes before I spin or place a bet, I knock on the wood in a playful way or give a light tap on the phone screen, as a bit of a ritual.

I know none of this changes the numbers or the odds, but it gives the game a more formal experience, a little joy, a little flavor, and reduces the fear.

Yeah it's fun, mine is that whenever I'm in a very ugly financial situation and it turns out gambling is the only way out, I always go fasting and praying, visiting the church and hoping that I'll get the pot. Winnings to solve my dilemma. It worked twice I engaged in such but ASAP I'm done with that situation, I get very last to rinse and repeat the ritual. I think I've only done it twice and It worked for me mixing the spirituality and gambling
