In the last 24 hours bitcoin has lost over 7-8 percent of its value and price presently is about $110k recover from the bearish pressure which want as low as $107k, it's quite a surprising move, Although I made a post concerning an expectation of a potential liquidity sweep because of the imbalance of price below, but it ran so low and reasons may be because trump warns China of massive increase in tariffs or whale activities to take out liquidity. But this will defiantly leave investors in panic if it doesn't recover quickly.

It seems to me that in a very short time it is a big push. When the price of Bitcoin was 121K, I am buying some Bitcoin And when I woke up and kept my eyes on the Bitcoin market, I saw Bitcoin a big push. At first I was surprised to see this and did not understand anything, though I later found out that Donald Trump was imposing 100% Tariff Act on China. Frankly this time Bitcoin is a very bad situation. Because in October, Bitcoin is at the fastest towel. But the hoot is somewhat falling for Economic issue. I think it will not last long. Very quickly it will recover and the best chance to buy Bitcoin at the present time.

That is Trump for us with his trade war with China. I wish bitcoin is not reacting to trade war with market fall but should react to it with uptrend. Trade war supposed to increase bitcoin price but fall stock prices, how Trump is linked to bitcoin makes it to be the other way for bitcoin, unlike gold.

Bitcoin is falling because people still see it as a speculative asset like the stock market and speculative assets tend to get dumped whenever there is economic uncertainty or geopolitical conflict. It didn't drop just because Trump expressed interest in it or his family invested in bitcoin.

Bitcoin has been dumped due to the Russia-Ukraine war, the economic crisis, not just the trade war between Trump and China. This is something that many investors don't want to admit because most believe bitcoin is a safe haven and not a speculative asset. But in fact the opposite is happening.

Then after few hours suddenly price goes down so fast, even some altcoins are losing 90% of value although recover back, it is that crazy.

This happened so quickly, and I hardly expected Bitcoin to experience such a significant drop after hitting an all-time high just a few days ago. We should have been well prepared for this, because this is not the first of its kind, the market falls in this manner and also rises in the same or similar approach, bitcoin can be profitable and also at the same time, it has the risk of causing loss it it goes opposite the direction we are taking it from, while i know some would have been into profits at the same time if taken the short position on it and the market moves in their own direction, but looking at the rate of liquidation that happened, it could serves a disappointment on some and cause fear knowing the rate of loss.

Bitcoin price has dropped by 7% to 8% in 24 hours but all altcoin markets have been chaotic in these 24 hours. Most coins have seen big dumping and there are many coins that are at the highest level of risk. In theory, the news of Trump's new tariffs is seen as the main reason for the massive sell-off in the market. But anyone who has been in market long enough will understand this is blatant manipulation by the market makers to wipe out liquidity, mainly long positions. More than $20 billion was liquidated in just a few hours and this is considered the largest liquidation in the market in years.

Only 1.2 billion were liquidated when the covid pandemic happened and only 1.6 billion when FTX collapsed. But more than $19 billion was liquidated by Trump's announcement.

This is correct. Exchange like Binance is not working to place a buy order during the dip which is bullshit since the price is dumping hard on all tokens while the exchange function is not working.

I knew something phishing is happening on this shady exchange on time like this which manipulation can be done and bag lots of money from liquidation.

This is not the first time we are seeing this market behavior, major drop followed by 50% recovery. Those who are not experienced will think we have entered the bear market without knowing that it is just a correction. Despite what is happening in the market now, I'm still optimistic that we have not reached the peak of this market cycle. The current ATH is $126k before price dumped and recovered to $112k, with a good momentum it will take Bitcoin less than 3weeks to create a new all time high.

You're lucky if you're able to anticipate the downturn to enter Bitcoin, because there are many people out there who may lose money during the downturn. I saw a Bitcoin investor share a screenshot of him holding a in a condition that is still at a loss Bitcoin, and the figure was quite substantial. This shows that middle-class and upper-class investors can be trapped by volatile market conditions that can change so quickly.

I think it was hard hit only for people who participated in futures market and apparently a lot of them lost huge amounts of money.

I just buy spot mostly or just put ordinary buy/sell order which is probably less profitable but avoids situation like this few days ago.

Also people that are new to crypto were probably spoiled by stabile prices we had last few months and they are shocked by 10% "dip".

This drop in price of Bitcoin is not the first time but it is to some who started to know it just when it hasn't made this move of dropping so fast. From time to time this drop will be no more, but getting to $123k or whereabout then drop to $110k is something those who are new to this kind of movement should be worried about depending from who or how they get to know Bitcoin and it could be that those who gave them [thats the new guys] the info didn't tell them the other side of how the market moves, it could be but I'm certain that the market price is setting up for something big.

Not all investors will panic because such declines typically occur due to pressure from one side, so a recovery could be swift for Bitcoin. And today, we've seen the price rebound back to $115,000 from the low you mentioned, so there's no need to panic just because of this, even though it does come as a bit of a surprise to many. But what is more surprising in conditions like this is that traders do not expect that market conditions will be like this, especially if they have previously bought at the highest price with the expectation of a greater increase so that they forget that price corrections can still come at any time in the market.

Bitcoin losing value of over %7-8 is not a new thing, there has been times when Bitcoin fall below this price range but it has been long perhaps many people see this time as a Bear season or bear market and they begin to sell out of panic due to fear of missing out. What I just understand about what happened is that most investors and traders has been expecting Bitcoin to creat a new ATH from the previous one, and after that happens then we will enter bear market. Then as trump warns China of massive increase in tariffs or whale activities to take out liquidity, it now lead to many selling their Bitcoin and others follow suit thinking that it's the best time to sell high before we enter bear market. and this leed to this drastic fall, since no one wants to lose. This is just the second crash after Trump's tariffs, so not enough if you ask me.

Remember the China bitcoin bans? These were popular since 2014 or 2105 when they were first banning bitcoin every few months and then in 2018 they were threatening to ban bitcoin mining and every time the rumors came out bitcoin would crash a bit. The best thing about it was that even after the ban from time to time someone would spread FUD that China is banning bitcoin and the market would still react to it, completely forgetting that bitcoin is already banned for over a year.

Based on that, I believe that if Trump comes up with a new tariff on China in 2026 we're going to see a market crash.

Peak values are froth, the solid parts to BTC value lie in the bulk or mass of its value not the very tops which blow off every time the wind blows too hard.
  Does it matter to someone, sure it does because some will have bought BTC five minutes before it lost that 7% so its bad luck.   But it shouldnt matter to the majority of holders because top prices are known to be inaccurate, this year and every year and mostly the trend remains undamaged by volatile moves at the top of the price action its normal even if not regular and predictable.
