I hope you realize that the market is subject to change by tomorrow, next week, month etc, let alone 5 or 10 years that you mentioned.

All these calculations have changed since you and I typed this post. Acquiring one Bitcoin now is almost unachieveable by the average Joe, we're talking about more than $115,000, do you really believe it's an amount you daily encounter?

* To accumulate 1 whole Bitcoin in 5yrs, there are two ways to go about it, which is either you invest weekly or monthly.
*If you choose to invest weekly, then you need to know the number of weeks available in 5yrs,
* Because in 1yr, there are 52 weeks
* That means in 5yrs = 52 x 5 = 260 weeks
* That means 5yrs = 260 weeks
Hence, to know how much BTC require to invest weekly to achieve your goal = 1BTC/260wks = 0.003846 BTC
Therefore, that means in other to achieve accumulating 1 Bitcoin, you need to invest 0.003846 BTC weekly for the next 5yrs

So what do you think? Because I think all methods can be achievable with consistency.

Your Bitcoin accumulation model or strategy won't work due to time and price, It seems you didn't consider time factor and price changes, there's no way Bitcoin price is going to remain the same because from historical data and performances each year, Bitcoin has never remain same in value, the amount you will use to buy this 0.003846 BTC in 2025 won't be the amount you will use in 2026 and 2027 and so on, so if you don't have much money and consistency then you won't be able to achieve it.

I agree that all methods that can be done to add Bitcoin with consistency will take you to that goal.

IMHO, it's not about how much you'd do in a week or two by 5 years or 10 years. Because there are unforeseen events that we might skip one or two or even more of those windows and so the consistency is gone if that's the plan.

I think set yourself of the consistency in a matter of accumulating through any crises you face by doing it at any amount. You're not pressured and think of it just like you're saving in a bank and your vision is long term.

Soon, it won't be about aiming for 1 Bitcoin but becoming lesser. 0.1BTC or 0.05BTC and so on.

It might be pretty difficult to successful save one bitcoin as being mentioned, what if you have some financial challenges along the line because your calculations are only based on weekly bases without considering some unknown financial constraints that may come along your investment journey, that needs urgent attention and that is why I prefer the dca strategy because it creates provisions for such occurrences like your emergency and reserve funds that will help you backup your investment incase of being in a tight financial state, also gives room to invest whenever you wish to and increases your regular investment, also if not financially stable you can take a break and start again when stable financially, which makes dca still remains the best irrespective of your class or status in the society, it is for everyone.

Your point about hard to guess financial problems of life is very good and real. Chasing firm goal of saving one Bitcoin is not thinking about that fact, and that is why DCA is smarter way. Main good thing about DCA is that it is easy to change, where you can invest small amount of money on regular basis, but you have emergency fund ready in case of urgent event, not like strict plan that would show you to possible dangers. Also, this plan is great to your mind health as it lets you take rest in case you feel shaky and stop short term problem becoming huge disaster, and most important, DCA makes buying of Bitcoin cheaper and able to keep going to all people, no matter their money or place in society. Simply put, DCA is good, sensible way to investing since it sees real needs of your money.

Which is why I thought creating this article for my follow newbies who may ever wish to someday want to own a whole 1 Bitcoin on the best strategy to accumulate 1 whole Bitcoin within a certain period of time (e.g 5yrs, 10yrs and 20yrs)

I myself really aspire to get BTC and it will give rise to a sense of pride if we can make it happen even if it's only 1 BTC of the three options you've outlined, the primary focus remains consistency and discipline in investing, along with a strong belief that Bitcoin's value will increase over time. Difficulty would provably differ depends on the income or capability of the investor. Since if it happens that he have lots of source of income and capable to buy lots of Bitcoin then chances to have that 1 Bitcoin is pretty huge.

But this situation will be hard to achieve especially for low income investor. Since provably that they need to strive more to achieve that goal and maybe it will take for many years before they can achieve to get that volume. The current price of the Bitcoin you are talking about buying 0.003846 Bitcoin weekly for 5 years is around $430. Not everyone is in a position to buy Bitcoin with that much money every week. Another thing is that after 1 to 2 years, when the price of Bitcoin continues to increase, you will have to buy Bitcoin with a higher price. So if the goal is to own a whole Bitcoin, it will be very difficult, but many people will not start DCA thinking about this. If you think about the future valuation of Bitcoin, then 5 or 10 years from today, the value of Satoshi will be much higher than it is now.

Back in the day, you could of fired up some miners and made that much in a few months. I remember back in 2015 I had some old Antminers and each one made like 0.01 BTC per day. After 100 days you could of net 1 BTC.

Now there are no strategeies. Most people don't have $400 in spare cash every week to invest in Bitcoin. Plus in 2-3 years, it might be $600 or $800 or $1000 weekly since price of bitcoin might go up. Same with mining. You can't really home mine anymore. You can't even mine with your GPUS since ETH went POS and the profitability went out the window.

I have bitcoin from DCA method but i don't have any target until when i can reach my first bitcoin and i think about OP idea it just a math count but the reality is hard to be realized especially to be consistent for years i think it's hard to do that and to run this method we should have consistent income because to buy bitcoin it took money and to have money people should have jobs especially stable jobs for at least for next 5 years

Besides the money the factor which can make this method failed to used is the volatility of bitcoin itself and it not easy to hold bitcoin for years because i am sure we will facing down trend or uptrend for upcoming years and lets be realistic that i personally feel this method cannot be used because it just only counted on the paper
