This is where you are getting it wrong. First of all, you have to understand that it is not all gamblers that don't have self control over gambling. So let's talk about someone who have a self control over gambling because from what you have said, only a gambler without self control can continue making deposit while gambling for fun without knowing he's getting addicted to gamble gradually. There's a higher chance that because the gambler have a self control, he or she will not gamble racklessly as he knows the risks involved on irresponsible gambling.

The main thing about a responsible gambler is that he knows how to control himself in all situations, whether the result of his gambling is a loss or a win, he does not cross his limits in any situation.

A responsible gambler will not exceed his limits for any reason why because he knows that anything that makes him exceeds his limits will make him lose more than he can afford to lose. True… it’s very easy for greed to set in when there’s no discipline. This is not what gamble for fun means, gamble for fun means that you should only have small amount of money on your account on a gambling site, do not spend more than it.
