I don’t know is anyone is have noticed this but I feel it’s something common and a culture for bitcoin enthusiasts especially the noobs.

“They say when someone is in prison for so long, they become very comfortable with the prison environment and but once they have been promised freedom, they become very uncomfortable with the same environment they had enjoyed”.

It’s very normal behavior and good but for some noobs who have been introduced to bitcoin had probably has an eye opening towards control system and how much enslaved they have become, they suddenly become so anti-fiat.

This exact Anti-fiat behavior is one thing that I have noticed long ago and it continues yet seems unnoticed, noobs become so anti-fiat and sometimes seem to put bitcoin first not as an investment but more like a belief system and turning us all into a cult which we are NOT, based on the believe in bitcoin to be very different from fiat.

Conclusively, bitcoin is not in anyway in competition with fiat as it’s a currency and more like an asset now that should work viz vice with fiat and not directly against each other, hence the notion that bitcoin will become the only and major currency of the future should probably be abolished or whoever have such thinking should consider making changes because bitcoin is not in competition nor is here to ruin out fiat but only for the few percent of people who cares about their privacy and control over finance.

Bitcoin has shown and proven the pathway for financial freedom and independency on third party, this is an edge it has above fiat and till date has become more valuable than the fiat currency these days. Yes, Bitcoin is not in competition for global dependency currency than fiat, its worth works generously for its course and that’s why it is been seen as a currency in competition.

This feels more like fomo of a lack of diversification which is actually very common in investing.

Most investors try to push people towards the S&P500 as it's the highest performing stock index of recent history. What they ignore? You can get a bag of 2000 small cap stocks that'll return well over a huge period, not just the past 10 years (unless you've got a time mscuje for that).

A lot of people watch their currency drop in price in relation to bitcoin and think they need to buy or that they need to buy more when, realistically, they'd be better off holding a small percentage in Bitcoin and watch it compound or watch their emotions from that small amount when they next consider investing more.

Bitcoin is not made against fiat nor to replace it.  Bitcoin is created to remove the third-party institution that prey on the unsuspecting victim making the financial transfer direct from one person to another person.  This way people will have freedom of transfering funds without paying to the third party, like banks and other financial institutions' services. 

Those day of waiting and huge amount of payment to do a global transaction is the one addressed by Bitcoin and not to be the reigning currency that replaces fiat currencies.

I will never failed to educate and enlightened those that make such comments about Bitcoin and fiat, because majority of them have no knowledge on the rules that Bitcoin plays in the financial inclusion of the unbanked and at the same time the role that Fiat Banks plays in our everyday business life as mode if payment.

The purpose of Bitcoin creation was not to work against fiat and discourage people from using it, so that the government and other people do not see us as pro revolutionary enthusiast against the use of fiat for bitcoin, but we are having it to serve as an alternative, should in case we don't want to use fiat, we can go decentralized and uses bitcoin in serving our purpose and be free in it.

I'm sure the anti fiat behaviour coming from the fact that they can preserve their wealth while if you hold fiat your money gonna lose value overtime.

They see it as unfair and they just went full anti-fiat, That does make sense though because how is money keep getting printed.

The world always have opposite things coexist at the same time and it's true with financial system too. Fiat currencies in any format like cash, digital figures in bank account and bank transfer, in the future as CBDCs on centralized blockchains controlled by governments, Bitcoin and alternative cryptocurrencies aka altcoins will coexist by a same principle that can not be changed by governments, Bitcoin or altcoins.

It's hilariously but just fact that when people go extremely as fiat currency enthusiasts, gold enthusiasts, Bitcoin enthusiasts, altcoin enthusiasts, their thinkings will be very biased and I am sure have more or less wrong thinkings. You don't need to waste time for arguing with such people as they are very close-minded and there are already enough resources for them to learn and self-debunk their biased thinkings, only if they want.

They in a competition and same way fight,  fiat has dominated the world for a lot decades, so trying to dethrone it will not happen easily.
Who wins this particular fight and competition; Bitcoin will definitely win it in the long-term.
We just have people who are not happy with total freedom,who try to control everything people do. It is the same reason why Bitcoin has not not adopted in the world generally. All these rules that targets the privacy and freedom of people are also breach of human rights.

There is no thing wrong in my opinion about people going against Fiat as soon as they discover Gold or Bitcoin.  Fiat is debt based and constantly devaluing.  We are all working ourselves every day for years for a currency that becomes worth less in time.  We get pay raises every few years but if you take inflation and purchasing power loss into account you get a pay raise to only barely keep up with the loss.  As soon as you discover how evil, dirty and misleading Fiat is you can no longer like it.

This is also not what makes some people look like they are part of a cult.  These people live in their own bubble and you can not even touch it, never mind poking it.  They believe they hold ultimate truth, they believe any body else who disagrees is the dumbest.  They take any bullet for Bitcoin no matter how actually dumb some of their arguments are and they defend even the cons of Bitcoin.

And worst of them all are the people who write poems to Bitcoin all over Bitcoin Talk.  That is a cult and I want no part of it.  If Bitcoin turns bad, I want to be wise and smart enough to realize it before it happens.  I really do not want myself being part of such bubbles.

First of all, it's OK to speak against evil, which fiat represents, and passionately promote the good. This does not make people in the latter category a cult. Bitcoin use is voluntary (unlike fiat, esp for those in its system), and we emphasize this, when a government of a country or individuals try to impose it on people. But when it comes to adhering to its rules or ideals, which the Bitcoin system (or its nodes) is specially designed to enforce, we cannot but promote and enforce the ideals even within the Bitcoin community. In regards to Bitcoin not competing with fiat, ofcourse, that is agreeable, since the two move in opposite directions. Bitcoin seems to be moving clockwise while fiat is anticlockwise. Competition typically happens between two or more things aiming to be the first to hit thesame or similar target. The target will make them move in thesame direction, or they eventually will move in thesame direction. But, ofcourse, Bitcoin is not aiming to capture the world or countries. That is fiats (or false cryptocurrencies) agenda. Our aim (or Bitcoin aim) is to persuade people who are free or want to be free from the fiat system to try Bitcoin. We do not aim to impose it on the world, nor get people or the world to use it against their will. This is a globalist agenda which has just been defeated.

It's true that Bitcoin is not a rival to fiat currencies.
If we interpret it more clearly, based on the practices we've all experienced, Bitcoin is more than fiat currency. It's not just electronic cash, but it can also be a hedging asset. That's not the case with fiat currencies.
Becoming an alternative currency that works alongside fiat currencies is more feasible than the notions I'd prefer not to mention.

At the very least, everyone can use Bitcoin for transactions without being constrained by regulations. This way, people will find a space of freedom, even if Bitcoin isn't the primary currency in every country.

The central banking system has there at it own system held the fiat users handicapped with some looking polite policies while unknown to many that regulations is an undisclosed monetary imprisonment too because you don't control your funds.

This future which you are talking about is a future of the future, like I mean it’s indefinite, however those who believe in fiat are probably from generations far gone yet doesn’t mean fiat is bad nor does it make it irrelevant for usage yet bitcoin is not in competition to take over presence but only coexist each other and a few percent of people who will want a change can adopt and use fiat only on few occasions.

Investors who are trying to use Bitcoin against fiat are definitely making a mistake. Looking at the purpose of Bitcoin, there is nothing that has been said to take a position against fiat. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency. It is a symbol of independence. Currently, Bitcoin is also used as a store of value. Those who hold Bitcoin will benefit a lot from Bitcoin at some point. But the benefits we get from Bitcoin are never promoted against fiat. Rather, if someone can take the benefits of Bitcoin along with fiat, they will be most profitable. Bitcoin is a digital currency that offers us financial freedom, our main aim is for Bitcoin to be accepted globally as a means of exchange so that people in remote and rural areas that are yet to adopt Bitcoin will do that because some of them lack the knowledge and are now comparing it to so many scams that will just come and go with their money since it is not physical and other investments they are used like gold, and some landed properties are all sold physical not knowing that Bitcoin is more than all of them and it is a cryptocurrency that didn’t require a third party and it saves value and a better solution against inflation and you will profit from the investment.

That's how I feel. I no longer like fiat and I try to spend it was much as I can while saving in bitcoin.

I have nothing against people who like fiat money and I have nothing against people who hate it and like bitcoin. Fiat is flawed and debased. There's a reason why governments don't allow us to move a lot of money in cash because they want to control your money and you through it.

I like to say that fiat money doesn't belong to you. It belongs to the government and you're just allowed to use it fora given time. The government decides if it wants do debase it, take it from you by blocking your account, fine you, and so on. If the money belonged to you, you'd be able to transfer it whenever you want and to any recipient with no limits.
