Personally I have goals that keeps me motivated, actually most persons are not goal minded they just follow to crowd to do whatever it's trending.There ought to be a purpose for whatever we do.Aside saving and investing there other goals we desire and we work towards them.If you've ever dreamt of having something and it finally came to pass,that is as a result of a goal that has been fulfilled.Everyone has different goal in terms of saving or investing, some save to buy a car while others save to buy a house and some people invest for the purpose of their generation yet to come.We must work towards our desired goals in other for them to be fulfilled.

Do you, in everything that you do, have goals in mind that you keep to make you motivated? Or do you just do anything generally with no specific plans? For example, when you save up money do you have something in mind that you specifically save up for? A new phone or a car? Or do you just set aside money with no actual plans of anything? Do you find yourself motivated even with no specific plans in mind?

Of course, I always keep my goals in mind when I'm saving money. For example, during my educational process, I always saved my money strictly to pay my school fees and other bills related to my education. This is because I have experienced getting diverted by spending money on unnecessary things whenever I save money in a bank or anywhere without setting a goal. I have seen many people who hustle and work hard to earn money, but end up misusing it. I'm sure that if they set one or two goals for themselves, it would be harder for them to get away from their aims.

it will be regretful if someone follow another person's goals, because following another person's go two things are involved it will lead you into negative side of it and you can also lead you into the positive side of it if the luck is with you, I don't do what others are doing because I don't know if it will favor me the way it's favoring them that is why when there are many people going for a particular thing I will draw myself knowing that it is not everybody such thing with favor, and someone that have thinking you need to know but you have to derive your own method of doing things that will favor you not to copy someone else idea on something that you don't know the basic idea of it, there's no way such thing will favor you

If you don't have money, I mean regular passive income, you can't make plan. For as long as you work from hand to mouth, there can't be plan for a particular target to reach in life. Once an income stream is secured, then the mindset and the ability to work towards a goal is sure.
The energy comes up money starts flowing in, but once this is short, motivation goes away.

I also prefer my own method to imitating others in anything, especially when it comes to working and achieving results at a certain level. The fact is, some things that work for others won't work for us, so the paths and options we must choose must be different from others, even if our own goals may not be very different—to achieve a better income through our own hard work. Observing and learning from what others have done is also a first step toward making a difference with our own path, because learning from others' experiences is never a bad path for anyone.

My answer is, as the title of your post suggests, everything starts with intention and focus on the goal. Why is that? Everything we plan has a process, and every process has stages of implementation. When we come up with the right concept, we can easily implement it.

A small example I want to convey is when building a house, don't buy the car first, then fill it with the necessary items. So, going back to what I said earlier: if you're still short on money, complete the construction in stages, and don't buy it all at once; when you have more money, continue, even if the time seems long. When you are ready, all feelings of satisfaction, joy and happiness come by themselves.

In my own opinion, it's better to do your thing in your own way because it might be perfect if it wasn't copied.If you've read "Think big" by Ben Carson you would always do new things neglecting the fact that others have tried that same path but it was in their favour.I would recommend the book to everyone, its a very impactful book that would motivate a person to do a new things without considering other people's opinions.Everyone on earth is purposeful so likewise we all need goals to back up our purpose on earth.

when you have a goal, what it does to you is that it makes you disciplined in all your dealings such that you don't just do things anyhow as someone that has no plan at all. if you want to save up for a project for instance, the thing to do is to make proper plan inn place so as money enters your hand, you push them straight up into those things and not waste the money fulfilling your wants that do not matter all that much.

being goal minded is a necessary ingredient that leads to success and that encourages discipline. a careless person that does things without  making any proper plan for it will not go far in life and there is no falsehood in this.

Having a simple goal is the hardest thing anyone can have. Like what am I suppose to aim at if this goes on for long, it is not something I can achieve? If I have a goal and fail to get it then what My goal is to pay off all my debt, and it has been four years and I failed.

Not that I haven't paid old debts, don't get me wrong it is not the same debt as four years ago, those are paid, but then I had other things happen in my life, and now we bankrupted a business we started six months ago with my wife, it was mainly her business but we made a big debt but we can't afford to keep it going, ab rand new debt, and turns out I have a huge illness, requires 4 drugs and a vaccine type of shot, costs 250 dollars total (60 dollars per month thanks to insurance) so basically my goal is to pay off my debt, but all these happen so I fail, should I feel miserable?

That's what I do encourage so people, deriving our methods to gamble is the most important thing to do, but people like to copy other people, for me, following another person derivation will not help the person because the derivation of another person, the person that wants to copy it, will not copy it as much the person derived it. So in summary is that what favour another person will not favour all of us that wants to follow same method,  having your own method make us stand firm, it's a simple truth that's difficult for people to understand, but people overlooked it, because they wants short cut to make it.

If you do things without no plans it means that you are going to settle for anything that comes your way and this isn't a good way to live...having goals doesn't mean that you are going to achieve them immediately, it takes time for those things to materialize but as long as you keep working towards them you will definitely get to the point where you want to be..life is all about having purpose and a direction

Seriously speaking, we all have different goals in life but not all of us have the real motivation to keep up with those goals, some may be highly motivated while others may don't seem motivated at all. The reason why others are hitting their goal of success while majority are still processing their failures. However, it always pays to be goal minded. But sometimes we have different ways and timeline when it comes to our goals, some may want it real quick while others are okay with delaying their goals realization.

Yes I agree to that above mentioned point, No success without an esterblished goal. Success is a goal driven plan that can not be archived except we work towards an esterblished process which offers detailed information on on the direction to what we want.  All successful entrepreneurs, footballers, farmers and so on never gets to there desired destinations except by identifying what they want which will propels there actions and keeps them going know matter the circumstance encountered while working towards once dreams.

I just love stacking money honestly. It gives sense of security. I was always having goal in mind before I know investing, buying cars, etc. Then after I learned to invest and find out that those cars that I want back in the days only have third of its price after 5 years I realized that it's better to stack more money. Not overspending, nothing. The act of stacking money through investments itself is a dopamine inducing activity. You get happy when your capital grow.

I'm sure those rich people out there are feeling the same way and the reason why they keep pushing despite being a millionaire.

Having clear plans and goals does not guarantee that we will succeed, because success is a process and a combination of many factors. But without specific goals, we will never succeed.

Setting specific goals is necessary and mandatory, because it will help us know what we are doing and what we need. It helps us stay motivated and not get distracted by temptations around us.

In general, goals are mandatory, because without goals, everything will be very vague and we will easily give up when facing difficulties in life. Living without goals, our life will become a vicious cycle.

It's bad for someone to be living without a goal, a plan and a purpose, and even if there are obstacles, that shouldn't still stop you from having at least a goal, which will trigger the purpose for which you are working and living to achieve something(s) in life. A goalless life is a  purposeless life. And a purposeless life is a useless life that is living in unfulfillment, which is tantamount to a failure.

Even if you do not have the resources actualise it or even later failed in achieving the goal, it's still wise and purposeful to have one. Who knows, that might even thrive motivations into working to achieving it, instead of wasting resources on frivolities and irrelevances.

I don't usually save for specific goals, but that doesn't mean i wouldn't be "goal minded" per se. I follow a strict budget that includes my savings, and my goal is to follow that budget, so that i can save money for something i need, so in best case scenario i already have the money for something i need.

If i pay for something bigger, i don't usually pay it at once, but with payment plan, so that company gives me a loan that i am slowly paying back.

I don't remember in any day having the thought of being like others, rather I plan for different future. if it were possible I would have thought about getting to a stage where no one have never been But this is More like fantasy which is why I usually plan for something that is more achievable but a little bit different from other people's own, truly I like being myself and not like other people because I can't keep hoping to be like them when they are planing to grow more bigger so I wouldn't want to be at the bottom as I also want to be at the top.
