The things OP said are true and every gambler should be aware of that, but after years of gambling it is probably hard to track exact loss/profit ratio. The best "tactic" I found so far is to have limited fund dedicated to gambling that is small enough not to feel its loss and when one depletes it then call it a day.

Yeah, but the truth is telling people that you're in a big mess is not that easy to say reason been that they will keep making fun of you which is why most gamblers chose to disguise but instead of disguising I will prefer to keep it to myself because I hate it when people make fun of me. We cannot speak for others nor refute their claim without them showing us their statistics.  What we know is our own experience but not because we are experiencing losses means all other people are experiencing the same.  So it is hard to generalize that all people are losing in gambling nor make it absolute that gamblers are bound to lose overtime.

In my entire gambling experience, I can say I am way ahead and my losses are not even 20% of my gains.  My experience simply disprove your theory that all gamblers gonna lose in the end.

Honestly until now I don't feel that I have that kind of thinking because losing is losing can't be changed and why try to deceive ourselves in gambling because in the end the situations that occur in gambling are all pretty much the same sooner or later we will only feel a loss and that is like a certainty.

Gracias with the reminder, some of us has already made peace with that reality. Am not playing to beat the house black and blue because I surrendered long ago when I realised I couldn't do it even with all the strategies I can come up with, the house would always stay ahead of me. If we gamble solely to earn extra income then ultimately the situation that arises is clearly not an option as this situation where you're lying to yourself is inevitable.
But if you simply view it as a game where when you win you feel like it's your lucky day and when you lose you realize that this is normal I think you'll be able to overcome that situation.
