The victims of dirty politics are those leaders who love their country and who have patriotism. The decision to intervene militarily against a country should be taken at a time when the government of that country fails to suppress terrorists. Directly threatening the sovereignty of a country without thoroughly investigating whether an incident is right or wrong can be another terrorist act.

The Nigerian government responded to Trump's comments on Truth Social. It welcomed the move to take action against Islamist terrorists but Nigeria sovereignty should be respected.

This is an expression of Trump's dislike of the current government in Nigeria. Even though Trump is president he is a successful businessman, he thinks from a business perspective in every case. Threatening to cut off financial aid or taking military action against countries that he cannot benefit financially from and cannot manage as he wishes.

Let us get something straight here, if not for the reports that the American government received from some Nigerian citizens that there is massive Christian genocide in the country, would he have threatened that the American military we invade Nigeria? It saddens me that when an issue concerning national security comes up, instead of people to focus on the root cause, they look for propaganda to spread and create a narrative that suit their own beliefs.

We cried to America for help, and they offered to help and now people are saying that they have ulterior motives for wanting to invade Nigeria.

We all know that Trump does not like the present Nigerian government and that is because Nigeria is among the BRICS partner is the root of all these, but this is just my own opinion.
Nigeria being a partner with the BRICS doesn't make them a member of the BRICS alliance, besides, Nigeria is the 99th member of the United Nations so i wonder how Trump's plot to invade Nigeria due to Christian genocide became an issue of the US trying to influence Nigeria from not becoming a member of the BRICS alliance. If that's the case that means the US will have to be invading all countries that are partnering with the BRICS nations. Trump might have other hidden agenda but i don't think it has anything to do with Nigeria being a partner with the BRICS.
Is it today that Nigeria started partnering with some of the BRICS nations like China? to the best of my knowledge, China and Nigeria have been strong economic allies since 1995 during the era of General Sani Abacha and has maintained strong business partnership till date whereas the BRICS was established in 2009 so how can we suspect that Trump's intended invasion has something to do with Nigeria having strong ties with the BRICS.

Some people said he will not invade Nigerian government but target the terrorists but I think what he said can mean any of the two. We all know that Trump does not like the present Nigerian government and that is because Nigeria is among the BRICS partner is the root of all these, but this is just my own opinion.

Trump has always been blunt when it comes to his stance on international matters but at same time he as been so disrespectful in his choice of words and for him to be calling Nigeria names only shows the real ignorance of our complexity as a country or a nation so to speak. Whether we belong to BRICS as partners or not, it does not call for this kind of insult especially on issues that are speculative and not truly backed up by any serious data. I bet you, Trump does not have any statistical proof that has shown a real data of the alleged significant Christian genocidal attacks in Nigeria to the length of thinking about invading the country abi who self. Beside they have been pumping money through USAIDs and others, what real time result or benefits has that brought to our country?

Mind you, foreign interference especially from countries like the United States of America with history of self interest have oftentimes left countries worse off than they met them and we have seen how that has played out in countries like Libya, Egypt, Iraq and Afghanistan all invaded in the name of freedom but what followed afterwards were only more instability in their economy and more chaos in their political environment. So the worse or least we can ever let to happen is by allowing any external power to step militarily will only compound our problems and lack of peace of mind the more.

I don't like when international bodies medles with an affairs of a country, things get worse than it used to be. They can strategically attack the government through other means but shouldn't dare come to Nigeria. Check other countries they have envade and how those countries are today, the selfish interest of united state comes before their mission in any country especially Nigeria been an oil producing country.

I remembered one time the late president Buhari paid Trump a visit and he openly said Nigeria is a "shithole country", someone that is vulgar when he talks without any remorse.

To be honest, if I say I'm not ashamed of our shameless leaders I will be lying to you. And that is why foreign leaders will always have the guts to insult us whenever they got the opportunity to do so or whenever something little of political issues should join us.

But I also want to ask, what has happened to nation's sovereignty that big countries like US and Israel always dares to invade any small countries they like whenever there's any internal crisis in those countries and honestly it is still one of the biggest contradictions in modern international politics because in classrooms they tell us sovereignty means every sovereign nation has its own right to govern itself without any form of interference but in reality weve seen powerful countries like the United States and Israel acting as if they are above the law exercising their military and economic strengths to justify their dominating actions over smaller countries in the name of protecting democracy.

But this should further make us ask if truly these international bodies like UN actually have the true political power or political will to stop them. For example now they will tell you the United States has a veto power in the UN security Council meaning that the UN will not have the powers to penalize them even when violate the another country's sovereignty

When I saw your post, I think I should post a topic instead. You can read it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5564578.new#new

Also Nigeria did not accept Venezuelan deportes from United States is another thing. Our government is closer to China than United States and Trump use of lapses as an opportunities to try to invade Nigeria.

Man I got your point and you have been very clear and devoid of any religious and ethnic sentiments, I must have to appreciate the fact that you know what you are saying, since the threat from Trump that America may invade or will I say come to finish the terrorist that has  been killing the Christians in Nigeria if the president refuse to act fast, there have been different shitty comments from different people but it is funny that some Nigerians has refused to face the facts straight, we are aware that in the northern part of nigeria, Christians and Muslims has been the target of the dreaded islamist groups that has taken over many parts of the northeen part of Nigeria, then I ask  what has the government done about this so far, man I don't want to go into the organization Nigeria as sovereign nation belong to, be it BRICS or any other one because I don't see any way those stuff has been of any help to us as country apart from borrowing and continues borrowing, our president have traveling since he assume office and till this moment I don't think anyone can say he has felt any developmental change anywhere.

I think the truth has to be told, Nigeria as country need this kind of threat from the world power which is America so that our leaders will sit up, even though people feel that Trump was misinformed about the whole security thing in Nigeria, what has our leaders done before Trump statement, after Trump statement few days later President Tinubu declared State of emergency on secury is that not bullshit, so it means without this threat there wouldn't have been such, it means security was never a major concern but 2027 election is right, I won't go further than this because it shameful when some people will want to play ethnic politics with everything.

I think this is a threat to Nigerian sovereignty so bad and more reasons our leader should act fast not just sitting in political positions doing nothing but, I don't think Nigerian has gone to an extent where we can't solve our problems ourselves is as a result of bad governance  this is a disgrace our leaders has failed us this threat should not be taken for granted it shouldn't sound like a joke the questions we should be asking ourselves is what will become of the invasion will it affect just the Muslim or the Christians also will be affected what will be the faith of our country Nigeria

What threat is it to Nigerians sovereignty when the highest threat is already in the country taking the life's of innocent souls on daily basis, its better to be enslaved by America because they have dreams and vision than to be enslaved by boko haram and bandits we all know are the great works of our leaders who are only interested in there selfish interest and not of the benefit of the poor masses.  Nigeria has what it takes to put an end to insurgency but failed because they are the architect to all terrorist group in the country and won't be ready to do so instead they are busy fighting Masi Nnamdi Kanu that did nothing but says the truth

Trump's invading Nigeria with his troops is not a joking matter because as it is is very understandable the reason why he is coming to Nigeria to make peace and not for war, even if he comes for war can any Nigeria stop him ,he decision is final over coming for this Christain killings in Nigeria but before Trump's will come he will take every necessary approach never to make mistakes in his decision.

Over how many years that killings of innocent one in Nigeria has been going on just for what reasons, bokoharam has been killing the innocent once just for what sake nobody can tell the reason behind his coming actually but we all knows that this country is not in a peaceful state ,to me I have checked Donald Trump's he is a peaceful person not coming to destroy but to make peace with this our region, the only people I see that actually wanted to act wrongly due to his coming is the Chinese, the Chinese is against the coming of Donald Trump's because since Nigeria is not at peace Chinese has taken all over in our country making money and turning the citizens of this country as slaves this is the more reason why the coming of trump is a big deal to them.

Actually the fact still remains the same we don't really know the most important things Donald Trump's has actually put in place in his coming,I might also think of dividing this country so that every part can stay their own,let him free biafra so that the North can be killing their selfs.

If you check am well, I no see anywhere wey Muslims dey kill Christians for this country. Maybe na Boko Haram he dey refer to, because na dem dey kill innocent people for this country not only the Christians everybody dey die, and if you look am well, majority of them na Muslims, so e dey sound like na Muslims dey kill Christians. Tribalism dey Nigeria well well. Even if you dey find job, if you no be the same religion with the people wey dey there, you fit no get chance.

But wetin I see happening for this country never reach the level wey another country suppose come intervene. We remember that time wey one Christian girl for Sokoto was killed because of one voice note wey she drop for WhatsApp group, and people burn her alive and nothing was done about it. Insecurity dey everywhere, kidnappers full road, you no fit travel with peace again. Nigerians dey talk say Trump get something wey he want in return, na why he say he wan invade Nigeria. Even if he call us disgrace country, na our government cause am for themselves.

There so many instances where the Fulani's had broken into Christian's community in kaduna, kano, Jos, and Benue, even the killing of people worshipping on Sunday morning in owo, south-western  Nigeria by this same herds men. We can't act to be ignorant of this attack and killings. Id the Government can't take decisive actions then World leaders should save the situation in this country.....

Yeah, that's some serious stuff from Trump. I don't know if he's serious or just trying to get attention again. But if he really said that, it's pretty wild. I mean, invading a country just because of religious violence? That's not how diplomacy works, right? Plus, Nigeria isn't exactly a small nation, so it's not like the U.S. can just swoop in and fix things. I've seen a few articles about the Christian persecution in Nigeria, but it's mostly local conflicts, not a full-on genocide like he claims. Still, his words are definitely alarming. I don't think he'll actually invade, but it's not like he's known for backing down from threats. Some people say he's just stirring drama for his base, but others are really worried. Anyway, I hope it's just hot air and not the start of something serious.

I agree with you. If It wasn't for the clamour by our fellow Nigerians on this matter, there wouldn't be any need for external intervention by the United States military led by their President, Donald Trump. I believe that the intervention attempt by the United State is not a violation of our sovereign power. Although Nigeria is a Sovereign state, I believe however thay there are limitations to these sovereign powers, also, in a cases like this where the government of the country have failed to Carry out there administrative duties by protecting the lives of the citizens and stayed mute through out the entire process untill there was a cry out by the same people who need saving.

Nigeria is a democratic state and democracy is centered on the people. The interest of the "People" over everything. If the People's cry for help have been heard by a more powerful country like America who have volunteered to rescue them, then their actions are justified.

I wouldn't say that I am in support of Donald Trump invading Nigeria, but I think it's high time the government do something about the killings in the country. I am not also calling it a Christian genocide, but rather a general genocide,  because I know that Muslims have also been killed by this terrorist.
I hope and pray that the threat of Donald Trump to invade the country will make the government sit up and do something about the genocide that is going on in the country. I believe it will be hard for Donald Trump to invade the country,  but I am in full support of collaborating with the US army to help us stop this terrorist,  because this has been going on for about 16 years now and it's only getting worse, so an external support might be needed to help end it.

What do you think the Nigerian government can do about the killings when the killings helps in disorganizing the citizens and giving access to complete execution of the wicked plans of our political representatives. Talking of The invading, of america to me I think its a latest development for us because that is the only remedy to Nigeria's problem which we all know. For the past few years the past and the present administration have been making empty promise on stopping constant killing yet nothing have been done about it. Why done are not happy to see someone willing to help

I think This growing issue with Nigeria is something that could have been tackled long time ago, lots of things have happened in Nigeria which normally are not supposed to be tolerated especially by its citizens. I think we let our leaders too much space to do whatever they want to do and get away with it. The country sees everything as a cruise and they never paid attention to little things until it gets worse. For long so many irregularities have been happening in Nigeria through our Government but we keep undermining them and we always pretend to be strong people. Now the whole country is in a big mess and even our government seems to have no solutions to the problem, even the president said he’s depressed. I think we are doomed in this country and it will take a very long time before everything becomes normal again, and I think for things to get normal we the citizens have a big role to play, the government seems to be clueless.

Meanwhile, it's becoming interesting that people that were offended by Nigerian government are using this opportunity to attack Nigerian rather than Nigerian government. I don't blame them, the government brought this upon them.
America is just a funny country it’s only those that don’t know them that will believe most of their utterances, they hardly offer help without getting something back in return, yes no one is happy with the killings going on in Nigeria but that doesn’t mean that anyone that wants to help should use the opportunity and insult Nigeria, it’s really not nice when 1st world countries make certain statements just because they are offering to help, ever since he made those statements the tension has increased, Nigeria is a sovereign nation hence should be accorded some respect too.

We appreciate the help of America but let them be diplomatic too in utterances so that is doesn’t end up blowing the flames of recent occurrences, the social media is an open space, hence every utterance made should be guided so it doesn’t send a wrong signal to the people and create undue tension.

The opinion you gave about Nigeria joining BRICS is actually one of the reasons Trump wants to invade Nigeria. But on the other hand, the American government wants the Nigerian government to discontinue having most of its country's deals with China.

The best way to come up with that, is to begin to hammer on invasion using Christian genocide as a means to that.

Now, the American government has succeeded in that, by making the Nigerian government secure a deal with them to buy defense equipment, not from their competitors in China and Europe

If the American government is really coming into Nigerian to show some concerns that's considered a welcome development because it has be very obvious that our leaders has failed wovely in their duty and only the external body can safe us.

One thing you must know is that president Tinubu is like a fulani masquerade to Nigerians, the fulani's are only using him to actualize their dirty agenda in Nigerian while enriching his self and leaving Nigerian in shattered, however and until we know our stand and unit as one to say a capital NO to all this, we will continue to be a modern days slave to the fulani's.
