Bitcoin Sending Free From Coinbase/Gemini To Hardware Wallet?

I recall a while back that Gemini had 10 free transactions a month of sending but they don't do that anymore.  How much does it cost to send btc from Gemini to a hardware wallet like nano ledger s plus?  Let say you buy 100 dollars or 1000 dollars of bitcoin so you have like 96 or 996 dollars worth of btc.  Can you choose on a slow or medium or fast speed or it's always a set amount?  At the moment, how much is it?  They have an extra fee as well right from Gemini which is added to that sending fee?  What about Coinbase?

Most cryto exchanges has their withdrawal fees set depending on the current network conditions. If the network is busy (wether its BTC or other crypto) they'll adjust accordingly. The same thing with Gemini, based on what's written on their site, they use a Dynamic Withdrawal Fee, they guage what the current nework conditions are and then tell you what the fees should be. I don't think there a way to adjust it, just like you said, it's a set amount.

As for Coinbase, I'm guessing it is the same thing.
There are also some website where you can check the current network conditions and transaction fees of various crypto like BTC or ETH.

Why don't you check it with yourself since you have a Gemini account?
Never tried this platform before, but you should be able to determine the fee by trying to send BTC, but don't push the confirm button. The total should show under total.

According to Gemini, their transaction fees are based on the network (dynamic fee structure). Meaning they don't have fixed withdrawal fees.

I think you don't need to worry much while the mempool recommendation fees is 1sat/vB.

Based on the information on the fee schedule page shared above, Gemini does not charge any withdrawal fees except for the network fees. However, the fee rate they charge might be a bit higher than what some fee estimators like mempool.space might suggest to ensure the transaction gets confirmed quickly even in case of a sudden spike in network congestion.
The wallet you are withdrawing the coins to doesn’t matter and has no effect on the fees charged as the service you are using has no way to know which wallet the coins will be sent to.

Through payment batching, they pay much lower fees than the user pays for their transaction, and with the low confirmation fees for most blockchains, withdrawal fees generate good profits for them.
