Are memes on the Solana network benefiting Solana, or are they the ones deriving a series of opportunities from the Solana network to make their own performance? Most meme coins will first consider a particular network and the conditions that surround it before they make their choice to use a particular one. I think Solana has got all they may require when it comes to network affordability and the reliability they also enjoy using it preferably to launch their meme coins than any other network.

it's a symbiotic deal, both sides feed off each other.
Memecoin use Sol's cheap fees, and speed to mint tokens and dump them on degens chasing a quick buck    
Sol, meanwhile, gets a massive user base, and heavy trading volume and a pile of network fees without breaking a sweat.
Imo.. it's a smart play by Sol.
It gets to put the network through its paces during periods of heavy trading while bringing more users and capital into the ecosystem.
That gives it more resources to keep improving the network and gradually expand into more real world applications.

Wait, Namecoin? Isn't that one of the first Bitcoin forks, launched back in 2011?

Even with that kind of head start, according to CMC, its market cap is only around $20M, and trading volume is extremely low. It barely listed on any exchange at all.

If you read the topic, we are talking about the favorite coins for holding a long term. So, this Namecoin is one of your favorite coins for holding? Are you sure? 
I just check this coin in CMC, it is just random coin with rank #648 there: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/namecoin/. TBH, I don't see anything special with this coin. I even feel scared to see the future of this coin because it seems its price too far from its best price (ATH) -91,3% now. Don't you check the price graph? Unless you want to make a hype of this coin, I suggest you DCA to a more convincing coin. DCA Namecoin seems not a really wise choice! However, it is up to you, it is your own money.

I don't expect newbies to be involved in this because they are not expected to consider altcoins as the beginning they are crypto journey, why does for the ticker skin experience members, you can decided on several hot coins they must have research on for an investment, it won't be new to them again how to the risk involved and they will also understand more better how to go about investing without using out to die extent, the moment we diversify on more than two altcoins for an investment and have their solid background check, we are mostly good to go as we position for the alt season to come.

You seems to have taken a totally off topic and off point.
Memecoins are nit good assets to hold for a long period of time, and one can not DCA on memecoins and have consistency as you make it sound, if you are DCA bitcoin or Ethereum at most for altcoins then you can actually achieve such dimension of progress for long term, but memecoins are pour gambling and should be avoided for long term sake.

I highly doubt that most people who enter the cryptocurrency market intending to make large profits spend time researching altcoins extensively before investing. In my opinion, as soon as they see a YouTube or Twitter video about a token owned or sponsored by a famous and wealthy person, they immediately focus on buying it early and forget to research the token's purpose. What kind of honest person would waste time and money creating these tokens? The obvious answer is that no honest person would waste time and money creating this token. but if an Elon Musk were to put money into these tokens and post on his social media saying he invested in them, we would see thousands of people buying these meaningless tokens and boasting that they will hold them for many years because these tokens would probably be highly valued, because in their minds, after Musk buys them, the tokens could be accepted as a means of payment in Musk companies. The saddest thing in this cryptocurrency market is seeing that even things like this, meaningless and ridiculous, can get a lot of attention and be seen as good things just because someone rich and influential bought them and did a big marketing campaign.
