The title of this post is funny , what if God wants to bless me through crypto? You know he works in mysterious ways  
I understand your point clearly @op and I am too civilised to be tossed around by anyone no matter their social status in the society.  I have formed a habit many years ago to always verify any investment brought to me. If my pastor recommends anything to me, I won't accept it because he recommended it, but because I have done my findings too and saw that it was real. Anyone in this present time who allows people deceive him freely is on his own.

Truly, deception is now allowed by the person who wants to be delivered, and the deceiver will use every form of cunning plan and strategy to grab a hold of his victim. If also I'll see it the way it's supposed, Money and Bible are two different things entirely, and are not supposed of work on same line, but it has becomes the path where the two cannot meet.

And who says pastors don't love money too? Everyone needs money to pay their bills. Sometimes, the pastors might even be victims too to the crypto scam. They must have trusted and recommended a failed crypto scheme to their congregation without verifying if what they are sending out is real. You know the kind of hype this kinds of coins get within  a short while, anyone who doesn't know much about crypto will invest.

It is not that i don't believe in miracle or neither i disagree with that you can be blessed from with crypto but do you know that no faith without work, which the Bible makes to understand that heaven help those who help themselves, so if truly you want God to help you through crypto then you needs to invest aggressively then leave the rest to God to work on multiplying your profits when the time is due then waiting for manner of crypto that will never happen anytime soon, so we should not allow ourselves to throw up to any to deceived of a miracle crypto when you didn't buy and hold in a long term.

Whenever it come to cryptocurrency matter, before person should trust anyone promoting a coin, the first question you should ask, the person should show proof or any receipt for profit, most time they don't have anything to show, because many of them are only paid to promote the coin, after cashing out from there ,and their followers  are left losses, today a lot of people fall for scams because of trust and lack of information they don't have about what they are doing, but let be real if pastor real guaranteed about money making investments he will first cashout befor telling another person, whenever it come to investment or any other business, try make decisions on your own before anyone does.

You think prophet cannot predict about BTC? BTC is open for everybody in the world both prophet of God and malam of Allah, which they can predict about BTC but don't believe that their prediction will be accurate base on their spirituality power. If prophet is guarantee you that BTC will hit a particular amount of dollars and ask you to pay him for the prediction, run for your dear life because they will scam you and make you hate BTC.

I know beginners use to believe such human beings, now that you have read many comments in this thread, I guess you will not allow any religion leaders to deceive you when to buy BTC and when to sell your BTC, because BTC is not control by prophets or malam. Buyers and sellers are the Major people that make the price of BTC to move up and down.

For me all I can say to this is for everyone to hold strong on what he believes on. There are allot of words out there. Some.are controversial to your believe some are similar while others would sound thesame because it would be twisted from what you believe. Our saving grace is going to be how well you know the truth to hold on it and not be easily deceived by it.

The early one know that cryptocurrency is not a magic but realities that required critical analysis and strategic planning and proper engagement, and using available opportunity wisely, the more those deceivers out there will ruined the life of the ignorance followers. Sometimes I don't blame those preachers who use the name of God to convince their followers to do something, especially when it comes to investment. Some of the blame also need to go to those who blindly follow what their teacher tells them.

Everyone needs to do their personal research Christianity or whatever religion anyone believe on is not an excuse to behave like a fool, those who use their God's name and miracle to deceive others to doing something which have no linkage with religion are to be blame, but the followers should also be bold enough to take full responsibility of their own decisions.

Older people are usually lonely and eager to talk to someone. 
Scammers know this and 'play' on their emotions. 
Older people are happy that someone wants to talk to them and even help them financially. 
Due to their age, they don't understand much and are naive, and maybe they have read or heard somewhere that you can earn a lot with crypto, which makes them the perfect victim. 
Using God and religion (which is very important to older people) in a crypto scam is truly 'rock bottom,' but scammers have no regard or feelings.

Welcome to the new crypto scheme where people who claimed to be men of God are using Gods name in vain, people do evil this days without the fear of God, how are they sleeping at night? Many men who claimed to be pastors and men of God have entered YouTube between 2024 and 2025, telling newbies that God told them to buy a special coin named whatever and they rugged on all their followers.

Before I heard this news of rug from a friend I have been seeing such videos on YouTube, but I questioned everything, been the type of person that I am, i asked why would God have anything to do with cryptocurrencies?  Someone in the comment section sent to me that "God is in everything we do", I am a true believer in Christ myself but it doesn't feel right and I moved on, I knew deep down that this makes no sense, but today millions of dollars are lost..

I tried to find two of them pastors on YouTube today and I couldn't find them any longer. They must have deleted their channel and run away but I found many more with a simple search on YouTube " pastor crypto ".

The most dangerous weapon someone can use on you is > God told me to......... This have ruined lives and homes.
They know perfectly well that the world is full of believers who don't question anything, people do what they are been told.

god has a relationship with crypto because God was the one who gave Satoshi the wisdom and understanding to create a record-breaking invention which we are all benefiting from directly or indirectly and many other millions are enjoying directly or indirectly but where the problem is is that God does not help you influence your nonchalant and crazy decisions. God does not help you place your trades or investments, you are solely responsible for it so if you must do it then you must be ready to take the complete responsibility of your actions and that is why you need to be sure and read widely and carefully before taking decisions

You can only experience such drama from newbies to be moving from one prayer house to another prayer house for the next coins to invest, if you are active in this forum I don't think man of God will be telling you coins to invest and coins not to invest because you know that bitcoin still remain the king among other coins, but some men of God will tell you bitcoin will disappear next year or next two years to put fear in you not to invest in bitcoin, and some will trust the man of God not to invest in bitcoin while some that trust the knowledge they acquired from this Bitcointalk forum will not trust the man of God because they know bitcoin will not disappear soon.
