This is Borja. I've been a long dated member of this beatiful forum and community.
I've been an entrepreneur in the space for a long time, you can see my earlier posts of the first projects I "Tried" to do. Luckily, then I could build
Lemon, where we did very well, raised >$50M USD from amazing people such as Tim Draper, Coinbase, and others, and essentially we had a great and successful project.
After exiting the business and having a sabatic, I now find myself building
Roxom.com, which essentially is Bitcoin Capital Markets. We have raised 8M USD for this project as our Angel Round, from amazing investors, such as Tim Draper, David Marcus, Kingsway Capital, and many others, and are very exited about it.
With the intro above, let me now get into the details.
In simple terms, our vision, is the following:
1) The greatest Capital Markets have always developed within the strongest currencies (Amsterdam Stock Exchange on the Guilder, LSE on the Pound, and Wall Street on the Dollar).
2) Both Wall Street and the Dollar have reached their top, and its down from here onwards. In other words, new capital markets will outgrow Wall Street. The question is, who?
3) History tells us that if we want to answer the question, we should guess what the next strong currency of the world is. Our view? Bitcoin. Ergo: Bitcoin Capital Markets are the ones who will outgrow Wall Street.
This is exactly what we're doing! A Bitcoin Exchange, where you can trade Stocks, Bonds, Commodities, ETFs, Crypto, FX, all priced and settled in Bitcoin.
We've just launched a couple of days ago with 2 iconic pairs:
SP500/BTC
GOLD/BTC
Yes, you can now long or short the SP500 or Gold in Bitcoin terms, and profit in Bitcoin.
Up next we're working on bringing spot markets. We'll be focusing on plenty of US Equities, and most importantly, in Bitcoin Treasury Companies.
