Aserbaidschan already started to upgrade its military to NATO standards.  Some years already no passport, only ID needed to enter Georgia from Europe.

The current European Union has been going and going for years and decades now, why would be the reason for them to suffer a complete breakdown from the union being kept by Brussels?
Sure, there is there case of the Brexit, but even after the exit of the UK from the European Union, there are British citizens who want their republic to come back into the block, and that is likely to happen in the future as the people of the United Kingdom realizes the importance of keeping an strategic alliance with republics which are against authoritarian rules from the East of Europe and beyond.

If a colapse happens it will likely not be in our life time, but rather in several decades in the future, when the whole geopolitical scenario of the planet has already changed and European values got eroded by whatever Putin and Xi have in mind for their enemies.
