College football players risk their health getting concussions, other injuries, and CTE. In return, the players do not get a legitimate paycheck for hurting themselves. They get two things. They get a football scholarship for a college education. Um. These days, a college education means absolutely nothing at all because colleges are messed up and promote violence. And even if it meant anything to a normal student, it will certainly not mean anything to a college football player. Think about it. College football players are not there to study. They are there to play football. That means that they will barely get anything out of a college education since have too much football to be studying much. And even if they did have the time and motivation to study, they are getting concussions and CTE. HOW ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO BE STUDYING WHEN THEIR BRAINS ARE INJURED?
This means that their scholarship for an education is not worth too much. Sure. The food and housing is worth something, but it is not much. Of course, college football players also have a tiny chance of making it to the NFL and becoming Taylor Swift's gay boyfriend and then getting arrested for doing random crimes.
There are less risky ways for people to get exercise and recreation.
What about watching college football instead of NFL football? It is not the best use of your time. I watch enough people get scammed by psychiatric meds, college degrees, FTX, and by getting an overpriced pseudo-education at a university. I also see people get hooked on cigarettes and other garbage.

P.S. Most sports are gay. Football is gay. Soccer is gay. Competitive eating is gay. Chess is gay if you replace all the pieces with kings. Baseball is gay. Basketball is gay.
P.P.S. High school football is even worse since high school football players get no benefits and all the risk.
