With persistent price hikes and global supply chain issues, are we entering a new era of permanently higher inflation rates?

Are there really any ways to combat inflation permanently ?
Inflation is not permanent just that you cant predict when the price of things become stable, the only way out of inflation of the government can implement policies that will boost the economy, but you dont have to wait for the government to do something about the economy to make inflation not to be effective. You just need to think of how to solve your own problem whereby inflation wont really affect you. Just think ahead make good plans and I'm sure you will be able to survive inflation

Take it or leave it, inflation is here to stay provided that human being still exist. Although inflation can be controlled by a good government, but when the government is bad and currupt , then inflation will always hit the country hard because the government lack the zeal to increases our production and creat employment opportunities to reduce the level of poverty.

The price hikes are not discussed much, people nowadays are more focused on making money and they are making, those who talk a lot about this they do it so they can get paid, in short, don't spend too much time on topics like this in real life, don't sit in companies where people talk shit about governments bro, I mean it.

This will give you only tension, you just have to focus on yourself, and do the effort and make money and everything will be fine, don't know how to make money, learn some skills.

And the answer to your question is yep, inflation is going to skyrocket soon.

With persistent price hikes and global supply chain issues, are we entering a new era of permanently higher inflation rates?

Are there really any ways to combat inflation permanently ?

It depends on the country you live in and the capabilities of the government controlling everything. There are countries in the world where the inflation rate is very low. Countries like China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, and Morocco have very low inflation rates, not even above 1% for most of these countries. So, it's an issue based on countries and their economies. Argentina has an inflation rate of above 190%, and that's because it's a country with a struggling economy, and there are a lot of such countries out there.

That's why, the question you are asking whether inflation is here to stay or whether there are ways to combat inflation, I would say what I said at the beginning; it's only your government that can do something about it. If they do everything properly, make the economy of the country better, let the local currency gain strength, then of course, inflation can go down, but if they aren't able to do any of these things, then the people will have to suffer from inflation forever, unfortunately. Sadly, inflation is permanent and it's just a matter if we get higher or lower inflation rate each month and year.

Are there really any ways to combat inflation permanently ?
Increasing cash flow, having more source of income, having more profitable investments. I guess those are the ways to combat it, while we cannot annihilate it completely but we can lessen the impact of it in our living if we have continuous cash flow.

‎With persistent price hikes and global supply chain issues, are we entering a new era of permanently higher inflation rates?

‎It depends actually on the region you are from and how much your government and the central banks are doing to enhance the productive capacity and efficiency of your economy.

Quote
‎Are there really any ways to combat inflation permanently ?

‎It is well known that countries like Turkey, Argentina , Haiti, Iran that suffer from high inflation rates, often have the issues of their currency not having any value, as well as economic and political instability.

‎So inorder to answer your question, there may be more ways than one to combat these issues of inflation permanently. It would involve maintaining a trustworthy central bank that has good policies and that is also consistent and independent from unnecessary government control so as to help the country focus on and boost the production capacity and efficiency of its economy.
‎This will prevent speculations and volatilities that cause price hikes and global supply chain issues.

Yes, inflation is here to stay and we are moving to a new era of permanently higher inflation rates. I guess we are already in that new era where inflation is increasing every year and it will get worst in the future because there's nothing that the government you are hoping on will do to help the matter, instead they will continue to print more money, increase tax,  and the inflation continues to hike. If the government wanted fight it, they would have done because this thing started growing little by little and they saw it coming but didn't prevent it.

I think inflation is a tool of the government. Although I'm not certain about this, it's what I've been seeing and noticing for the past few decades. Even when I was a child, this was already
a problem, and now that I'm in my 40s, this problem is still here. That's why prices are high now compared to before.

And if those in government are also corrupt, the inflation rate will surely rise quickly in a country like this. I just hope our country doesn't end up in a hyperinflation situation,
because it would be quite worrisome if it happens.

Yes, inflation is a government tool, inflation is a sneaky tax by the government to take money from the people. Inflation is a taxation tool that the government uses to hit everyone, no one can avoid it and the poor are always the ones who suffer the most.

A corrupt government will make inflation worse but that doesn't mean we don't have preventative measures. If we limit holding a lot of fiat money, instead convert most of our assets into gold, bitcoin. Even if hyperinflation occurs, it won't affect us too seriously.

I don't think inflation can be eradicated permanently cause countries would definitely undergo different situations that would cause inflation especially economic crisis.
However a good government would try their best to reduce it and keep the economy stable to reduce the poverty rate but a bad government would use it to their own advantage and keep inflating the economy or imposing taxes even when the economy is bad, funny enough some corrupt government don't use the tax payers money for the good of their country.

With persistent price hikes and global supply chain issues, are we entering a new era of permanently higher inflation rates?

Are there really any ways to combat inflation permanently ?

The foundation on which inflation was built on cannot be moved. Inflation is here to stay, it is like a tall mountain, impossible to move but it keeps growing and expanding. What can be done is to have an edge over inflation, like having immunity over something.

If there were ways to remove inflation permanently in the world, the government would not want that to happen. In the cause of inflation, they have so much to benefit.

Inflation always exists, are you talking about high inflation? Because if you are talking about super high inflation of the pandemic period, then no that is not going to happen that often, but if you are talking about something that is low, then yeah inflation will always exist at some level or not.

I mean if nothing else, like even if the economy is amazing, we would get at least 2% inflation for growth. This is why we can never be rid of it completely. What we can hope for is not to have 10%+ inflation, as long as we do not have that, and it's at around 55, then it is not great but it is not bad and it is good enough for us. We can make that much more from our salaries and income that way and make that much per year.

If there are no inflation it won't be easy to embezzle national funds. So I will say inflation is here to stay as long has we keep giving power to leaders who are more concerned about what they stand to gain before the end of the service year.  With inflation it will be much easier to mask discrepancies in financial records,  it makes auditing unreliable and weaken internal price control of commodities. Inflation is here to stay for as long as we all can tolerate.

Corrupt leaders can certainly utilize inflationary conditions and there is no doubt about that but inflation is not just the result of bad decisions by leaders also global markets, production costs, supply chain constraints, and even international political tensions play a big role. Corruption can increase inflation but inflation is only sustained by political greed and that does not explain the whole problem. So, we need strong institutions, transparent accounting systems, and citizen-level accountability because only through this can we change this entire system because if the system is not strong then the new leadership will also fall into the same cycle.

With current events that are going on in the world the future of the world not getting uncertainty by the each day that passes it will be hard for the world to have a stable economy situation were the economies of each country will be Fair. Because what we should know is that inflation is a caused by inability to have cheap raw materials for the purpose of production and with the economic super powers trying hard to know which one will control the world raw materials. It's even becoming difficult for the world to be expecting a good inflation rate soon.and with the tariffs that are been imposed in the world I will say that information is here to stay.

With persistent price hikes and global supply chain issues, are we entering a new era of permanently higher inflation rates?

Are there really any ways to combat inflation permanently ?
Every problem has a solution, but the obstacle in this case is the government's sometimes indifference to this issue, resulting in persistent inflation due to rising prices and a constant supply. If the government were willing to support the productivity of all its citizens and not print money indiscriminately, I suggest there would be no price increases because the supply of goods would no longer be limited to a single source. So it's not that there's no way to solve this problem, but rather a lack of mutual concern to support a permanent solution.

Inflation is like the wind, always there but never catchable. Inflation will always exist because it's caused by factors that influence prices, such as supply and demand, production costs, and monetary policy. The government is the driving force behind inflation, so it can never be eradicated.

There is no way to combat inflation permanently, but to reduce the inflation rate must be through government intervention such as the central bank can raise interest rates and increase productivity.
I emphasize again, inflation is an economic phenomenon created by the government, so there is almost no single solution to overcome it, unless the government itself has the intention to overcome it.

Inflation is certainly inevitable and government can officially minimize inflation when it eventually spikes.Government policies can create inflation but they're not the only cause for inflation.Inflation is a complex system,it's not single handedly generated.Inflation can be managed, it's mostly about level and stability.

Unfortunately yes. With more destabilization of the world, production will be disrupted and it too will cause inflation. The governments are also facing worse budget deficits and they cover it up by printing more money and creating debt, both of which cause more inflation.

Not really. We just have to wait for the World Order to be solidified and that can take some more years and more conflicts...

Many factors can cause inflation so it is indeed a complex issue and until whenever there will be inflation, talking about human needs every year increases, which means that demand increases while if we talk about the earth's energy every year is depleted and will certainly reach the limit of supply and will cause inflation, also supported by the printing of money which is printed every year it is also one of the important factors why inflation will continue to occur.

Supply and demand affect inflation, the government only tries to hold inflation so that it is not within the reasonable limits that should be in Yoy's count, they are tasked with balancing demand and supply to run at a number that is considered normal inflation, therefore there are many alternatives that can be used to meet the needs of the community in running their lives.

In my opinion, the global economy has never been so demand-driven. It is impossible to permanently eliminate inflation, but it is realistic to minimize the damage it causes. One of the most fundamental ways to combat inflation is to increase production. With the advent of social media, the consumption economy has reached its peak and continues to do so.

As long as we do not stop the consumption frenzy and do not give sufficient importance to production, we will continue to live with inflation. Global trade now needs to slow down, and countries need to become self-sufficient first. Consuming without producing is one of the main reasons for rising inflation.

Inflation, from my POV, will always be a thing. There is no way the value of a currency will remain stagnant, and as long as the value of the currency is changing, inflation will always be present. Inflation only becomes a problem when it increases too fast over a short period. If inflation increases to 2.5 per cent from 2 per cent in two years, then that is not a problem. It shows a progressive economy, but when it increases to 8 per cent from 2 per cent in two years, then there is a serious problem.
