So after the fight with Tank Davis fell through, the next target for Paul is much more ambitious: a highly ranked, heavyweight former champion. If the fight is legit and if it will materialise, I don't give Paul any chances. I don't think anyone would believe the fight was not fixed if Paul wins by decision.
But to be fair, I'm not even sure if Paul would want to win it that way. If he did, everyone would expect him to face another professional boxer from the top shelf; there would be no return to fighting retired mma fighters and elderly boxers decades past their prime.
Paul would have an advantage though, I believe he had his camp for the fight against Davis, so he should be in good shape right now. And if the fight is to take place in December, so not far from now, AJ would have much less preparation time than Paul.

How can this even be a non-exhibition fight? Look at the size difference. Joshua is huge. Are they really fighting at heavyweight or are they forcing Jake Paul into some lower division? Either way, even one division lower, Joshua can still put Jake Paul in serious trouble, worst case, he might even put his life in danger.

There’s a massive difference between a real champion and an exhibition entertainer. Sure, Jake Paul fought Tyson before, but Tyson was old already.

Tyson being old was not the main reason he lost that fight. If you look closely in that fight, you could see how much Tyson is pulling in his punches. There were even times when he could have easily landed a clean hit but he didn't do any just for the sake of letting Paul win. lol
Regardless of how big Joshua is, you'd be surprised how money could affect his performance in the ring. Despite us knowing how fake this fight would be, Jake will surely sell this match as him being the underdog fighting against a giant and of course, he will win it and brag about it on social media for months.

The fight between Paul and Tyson looked staged. A little more effort and Tyson would have won. Even despite his age, Mike put up an incredible fight against this upstart. The margin was only a few points, which suggests this fight was far from professional. I was so worried about Tyson that I was already betting on him to win. It's a shame it didn't end that way. Oh well... Someone needs to teach Jake and his brother a lesson. They're way too arrogant.

One victory against a former heavy weight champion and you think you can fight all for heavy weight champions, well let's see how Paul scales against someone who is still relatively in his prime as opposed to Tyson who was way past his prime when he and Paul had their fight and he still held his ground to a good extent, Joshua will most likely not be as easy for him as Tyson was and we all know Tyson wasn't easy, my bet is on Joshua winning since I believe he is a better fighter and will be at a better position to dominate the fight but this is boxing so let's just see how it goes.

Yeah its real and their fight schedule is set to happen on December as what has been written by OP.

Paul supposed to be fighting Tank Davis this year but its been cancelled due to Davis is facing serious legal issues. This fight is just a filler and I don't think people would love the idea of Paul having this fight and didn't wait for Tank to fix his mess.

This fight might became controversial and same as you I have that doubts to and they might throw that fight in favor of Paul knowing that he's more famous than his opponent. But let see what going to happen and hope we are wrong with our negative thoughts in this fight.

Everyone is worried it will be a fixed fight like the Mike Tyson match. Anthony Joshua seems like he’s too respectable of a fighter to agree to something like that.

Until now, Jake could get away with poor defense and very limited skills. Knocking out smaller MMA fighters might have made him feel invincible. This will be his first serious challenge, against somebody who isn’t there just for the paycheck. I don’t see it going well, but we’ll see if he can handle facing adversity or if he falls apart immediately.

If Jake does better than expected, he will earn respect and his career will start to be taken seriously. If he gets smashed to pieces in the first round, then it will be time to end the circus and move on to the next hustle.
