Don't cut your life if your ticket cut

I saw this bad news as I was scrolling through Facebook some days ago, and I was heartbroken to see that a promising young man took his own life because he used his landlord's money to gamble and lost the bet. Even though the young man used his landlord's money to gamble, it's not enough reason for him to end his life with his hands. The young man should have pleaded with his landlord to give him time to repay him his money rather than taking his life.
Moral lesson: we shouldn't use people's money to gamble, and we should always gamble with what we can afford to lose.

While gambling, try as much as possible to gamble responsibly, you don’t go looking for trouble where there’s none. Every decision has consequences, before taking a decision, you do your analysis if this decision is worth taking or not, on a personal note, before taking any decision I try to weigh the risk to reward, if my decision goes side ways how would I handle it and if it goes at plan how would I handle it, if the consequences is life threatening, you avoid such risk and look for other options. You don’t go borrow money or use money that’s not your reserve fund to gamble, if lost and you’ve no other means to repay, it’ll only put you into depression.

This is really a heartbreaking story and the aspect of gambling being a dangerous thing is highlighted when individuals forget their limits. The fact that one has lost a bet with the money that is either borrowed or that is misapplied must never cause an individual to commit suicide. It is possible to discuss and negotiate issues around money and solve them in a gradual manner, however, life cannot be bought back. This is because borrowing of other people or using money that would be spent on survival will only add pressure, fear and depression when things are not going in the right direction. One has to gamble in the most responsible manner possible and should always gamble with money that they can do away with. All decisions come with their own repercussions, this is why risk assessment is necessary. A human life is priceless, regardless of the ticket price, loan amount, and error.

This is a very sad story... In my country, there's a saying: "You can only speak well of the dead, or say nothing at all." So I'm very sorry that this student committed suicide.

This young man was probably a very good and kind person, but too impulsive. He probably thought he was sure to win at gambling. He lacked experience and critical thinking, otherwise he would have realized that gambling can always lead to losing all your money. He decided to commit suicide because he was ashamed in front of his friends. This proves he was a very good person (although I don't think he did the right thing). 🤷

He could have given his friends a interest-bearing bill and agreed to return the money he lost. I think that would have been a wiser decision. Losing a life is a tragedy. Losing money (even someone else's) is still less significant than losing a human life. Condolences to the family and friends of this young man!

I believe the dude that committed suicide just wanted to double his landlord's money by betting on what he sees as sure 2 odds but he ended up losing the money. So before we take a decision while gambling, we should first of all think about the effect of the decision we on our lives if the decision goes side ways for us to know if we are taking the right decision or not.

Consumption of alcohol as an escape after being downgraded is a suicidal behaviour that would soon ruin our comfort. Such tendency to guilt diversion in the false direction will lead to the emergence of new problems that are to be solved significantly more problematic in the future. I also agree that our response to defeat is a major factor that will either shatter someone into ruins or an individual who will remain strong. We have to realise that when people make emotional choices after incurring losses, they tend to ruin their characters and this fact is very hard to restore.
