I never had this issue, I can access every game that is listed on the casino or atleast as far as I checked. Probably I haven't checked every game or casino but I can say UK based casinos put complete restrictions and that applies to the casino itself not just specific for certain games. I play sweet bonanze, olympus, sugar rush and avaiator and I believe all of them from plagmatic play.

Well, I honestly I dont much more about some games from a provider being available in a region, and some other games from the same game provider turning out not to be available in the same region, what I've always seen and experienced myself on multiple occasions is when a game from a certain provider is not available in my region, then certainly every game from that provider won't be available as well..

But I am not surprised though since I already know that one thing that is very constant in life is change, things must have change a bit, and there no other reason that causes this game restriction in some regions aside from licensing issues, it's possible that the game provider may need to acquire a certain license from the regulators of a region before their games becomes available to gamblers from that region to play, maybe one license no longer covers all the games from a provider, they may need to acquire several licenses and this we see that some games are available to play while other games are not available..

I have not experienced this before, because i do not play too many different slot games. My favorite slot game is sweet bonanza from pragmatic play provider and whenever i want to play slot, i simply stick to it. The reason why this happens is obviously about licensing, as a couple of other replies have suggested. Your location would also determine if you experience this or not, depending on how strict the gambling regulatory board in your country is.

Yes, I have encountered several slots not available in my country.  It is possible that the one causing it is the regulation of the country but I am confused since there is a case in my country where a certain slot provider is allowed and licensed in my country, they even have a physical office here, if I am not mistaken, and yet their game is unavailable to access in the same country.

I think it's safer to use casinos that are NOT restricted in your location, because then you are not breaking any rules from your country or from the casino that can be used against you to freeze your account and take your bet wins money.

Not just casino games generally this problem is common with few casino in a different region, I think the restriction is coming from the casino because after using VPN the site works perfectly fine including casino games. Using VPN is not advisable due to certain reason probably after wining big the casino requires personal information so it’s best anyone encountering these issue with any casino game should just avoid and play other accepted games, I’m sure this is a restriction set by either the government or casino commonly license problem and paying for these license cost much.

Casino nowadays usually hide restricted game provider on your country by default. You can only see accessible casino on the listed game provider.

The OP maybe noticed this unaccessible game provider because they are the popular once such as pragmatic play and evolution gaming which are both restricted too on my country while we frequently saw this game on discussion and promotion.

Accessing restricted games through the use of VPN is always a red flag to me because you are intentionally violating the set restrictions of the game provider that might be used against you in case you win big.

There’s a lot of game provider choices that offer same game experience so there’s no point on violating the restrictions just to play games that offers same level of fun by different providers available.

I guess some people will still take that risk because they don’t intend to win big anyway. And a lot of gamblers don’t bother creating multiple accounts, so they just stick to one casino and play whatever games are available. Since some casinos don’t require KYC, using a VPN might help them access more games.

I think there are gamblers using VPNs who still manage to withdraw without issues, probably because their wins aren’t huge enough to trigger the casino’s checks. If I were running a casino and the regulators weren’t too strict, I’d probably let them play too. More players means more volume, which only benefits the casino.

If some of the games under the same provider are available in the casino and accessible as well by the same country that restricts its citizens from playing some particular games, it could only be that those restricted games did not pass licensing requirements, as I believe there should be some criteria to determine which game is qualified and which one is not, and not just only about the money.

I haven’t tried it because I know a VPN will just mess up my account. I have a feeling that if I use a VPN to bypass those restrictions, it might let me access the site, but the consequences… I don’t even want to imagine it. Getting my account blocked for that reason is not worth the risk.

It is not about the individual slot game; the relegation is coming from the slot provider itself. If a casino has restrictions in your region, you won't be able to play your Sweet Bonanza in that casino.

It is either you stick to your current casino or don't try new ones at all. In case you want to try new ones, first check if slot games are acceptable in that region before making any deposit in the casino.

Maybe you need to check 1 provider which is not availbale in your region, then explore some different casinos and you may see that the provider is available in other casino while it is not in other casinos. Let me give you an example:

This a provider namely Relax Gaming, as you can see that I it is not available in my region at Stake but it is available in my region at Shuffle. The other example is that a provider namely NoLimitCity is not available for me at Betpanda and some other casinos, while the same provider is available for me at Stake and Shuffle. There might be some other providers but since there are too many providers out there and I do not play all of them, so I provide 2 examples which I am familiar with only. This fact proves that it is possible to see a provider is available for us in some casinos while it is not in some other casinos.
