If it is about online backup, it is not about minimizing the risks, it is about not going for it at all. There are some people that save their seed phrase on an online cloud and hackers were able to access their coins and steal it. We have also read about how many people sensitive information were seen with password manager like LastPass.

The best are offline backup. If you are afraid of the security and safety of your seed phrase, you can extend the seed phrase with passphrase instead.

The only downside of offline backup is that it can be lost or irrecoverable, but you can have like 2 or 3 backups instead.

I have seen discussions where people are taking about how they were able to memorize their seed phrase making is safe for them than the traditional methods of keeping seed phrase on a paper. I am not against memorizing seed phrase, but it will depend on your ability to recall after a while. When it comes to cryptocurrency and seed phrase, everyone is discovering how they will be able to store their seed phrase and anything concerning memorizing, because there are things that will make you forget, because for how long can you keep up it everything? Because I don't see how memorizing can be a backup, I don't know for any other person, but as for me, I don't think that is a good backup plan.
