Arbitrage betting in sprots, does anyone here actually tried it?

Posting it as I remember reading about arbitrage betting before, and it says that the idea that it’s “no risk” and you either win or at worst break even as long as you catch the right lines. On paper it sounds like the perfect way to stay profitable but I’m still a bit doubtful. Most sources say you need some kind of advanced tools or scanners to spot these mismatched odds before they vanish.

So I’m wondering, has anyone here actually done this in real betting, not just theory from books or videos? I’m curious how realistic it is for normal bettors. And even if you have no idea about it, feel free to jump in and ask as this isn’t limited to people who claim to be experts. We all want to learn, so the more open the discussion, the better.

I have calculated it before to see if I would win or make some money from it, but is not not working. From my calculations, I will definitely lose money. I have gone through all the odds on betting sites before and all I see is loss if I tried it. I do not now how it can be done because with what I saw, arbitrage betting is not possible.

You probably didn’t do it right, because the whole point of arbitrage betting is to lock in profit. The problem isn’t really the calculation, it’s finding the lines and the odds differences in the first place.

Most casinos and sportsbooks prohibit arbitrage betting, isn't this right?

If you are found doing this by engaging in many different casinos with the same provider they will block your account and keep all your earnings. Unless I didn't understand and this is a different type of arbitrage

I have used an arbitrage calculator to see if i would be in profit if I use the system and it actually makes sense but the problem is knowing the right games to bet on...arbitrage is all about betting on a game and taking advantage of the odd difference between different sports book but how do you get those games that you would have an arbitrage opportunity? Finding those games by yourself is almost impossible
