He could also be frustrated because of the past losses, and being desperate for a huge win at the same time, to chase those losses. If emotions start to take over when you're gambling, that's when you're most susceptible to losing. I think that is what happened to OP. Usually, when it starts going south, if it's the last game, the platform will start reducing the amount that you can cash out, but still, you are right that one could still get a good amount if they have won 10 games out of 11 in a parlay.
