Any hopes of reviving factoids?

I understand Theymos thought some of the factoids we had back then were sort of outdated but couldn't we just remove those that were outdated and kept up with updated versions. I am sure members here would be willing to point out what was outdated and keep the factoids accurate rather than remove the whole thing.

As a newbie back in the day, the factoids fed me/us with some information about Bitcoin, the forum and some amazing facts. I believe most of the newbies are missing this feature. Can we please have it back? I don't think it does any harm to the forum

Every passing day in the present may be an important historic moment tomorrow. Why can't we let the future users know about the historic moments in Bitcoin and the forum for example?

Yes, i agree to this. It's like a refresher of those historical things, knowledge and facts that even the OGs cannot fully remember unless something brings those memories back which i guess the help of the factoids.

There are only 57 factoids and I tried to raise an idea for updates of factoids two years ago. The community seemed to show very little interest in this idea and theymos did not reply to it. He likely did not consider it as an idea worth to try and it is not in his to do list.

I honestly thought they were removed to be updated because many of the factoids were no longer accurate, both for the forum and for Bitcoin itself. They were educational, and I believe they should be brought back to the forum. We have many new members and users who could learn from them. Some don't even know that such a feature existed on the forum. The main problem now might be selecting the few that should be displayed perhaps the admin will consider that after the holidays.

I liked the factoids, it's kinda like Unix' fortune tradition. I'd also like to see it restored, in an updated version.
