For a revived 2017 meme coin ANN, this is one of the cleaner ones I've seen in a while.

Starting fresh instead of trying to duct-tape the old chain is probably the only sane move. The "0% premine, no secret head-start, first blocks CPU mined in public" story is solid optics, and at least shows you've thought about how badly the first run poisoned the well. Just keep in mind: "no premine" doesn't magically make it fair forever, whoever is sitting there with ASICs warmed up at block 31 will still eat a big chunk of early supply. That's not necessarily bad, it's just how PoW works.

SHA-256 is a double-edged sword here. On the plus side, easy for existing miners to point some free hashrate at it, merge-mine setups, etc. On the minus side, every new SHA-256 alt basically hangs out under a gigantic "NiceHash me" sign until volume and liquidity catch up. If Rabid Rabbit or any other exchange is going to list this, they'll want to be very conservative on confirmations and watch the explorer like a hawk. I'd also love to see someone independent actually review your DGW implementation and check for time-warp / difficulty-floor weirdness - seen too many forks die because somebody copy-pasted a retarget algo without fully understanding it.
