Are there any decent lbtc mining pools open now, and can it be merged mined with other coins somewhere?

im not finding a lot of info on it, which is probably a very powerful tell right there, (but i have been called brain dead before, and sometimes that is not incorrect  Grin ) so figured id ask the experts !

thank you for your inputs

You mean Liquid Bitcoin? It is a federated sidechain, not a proof-of-work chain. From reading Blockstream’s documentation, Liquid Network is very centralized. The validators on the network are just Blockstream and a handful of companies they are aligned with.

You might have a better chance of joining a Rootstock mining pool. I am not really familiar with how mining pools handle payouts for that, like if rBTC is converted to BTC or if you have to setup an Ethereum address to receive payment.
