You are not wrong bro. For the record, i am from Nigeria and i have used and still use SageSwap. Low fees and very reliable, so i don't see why there wouldn't be more Nigerians like me who use this service too in this forum.
Good to hear that, people from Nigeria are highly into crypto and that's why they can't be ignored, I've many friends on this forum who're from Nigeria and who're into crypto for many years. Good to hear that use have used SageSwap, I've also used the platform and everything worked pretty well for me. I've tested a few exchanges including SageSwap to leave my honest feedback about those platforms. During my testing SageSwap worked pretty well and fees of the platform were also quite low and reasonable. I'll soon write a review about SageSwap and if needed I'll conduct another test of the platform as well.

Reputation matters a lot when it comes to instant exchanges. There are so many scams out there that you don’t just need marketing, you also need to build trust with the community. I think SageSwap has done a really solid job and after six months since joining the forum they’ve gained recognition and are considered reliable.

On the flip side, there are also some poorly ran campaigns that only have a budget for a few weeks and don’t have good management. There are plenty of instant exchanges that advertised on the forum at some point, but they did not leave enough of an impression to still be remembered. I won’t throw anybody under the bus, but I will say that SageSwap has made some choices that I believe have produced good results compared to other companies that have come and gone.

Running a long-term campaign with competitive rates under a reputable manager gives a business an added advantage, and SageSwap is doing everything in a perfect manner.

Yes, the first thing is that the site and business itself need to be trustworthy and a good one, and Sageswap offers the best services in their category. They have gained a very good user base and trust level in a very short time span, and they are also running campaigns in an effective manner.

I agree, Sageswap is doing well when it comes to marketing because they've chosen the best manager for management of their campaign and they offer competitive rates.

The choice of selecting a good manager matters a lot because under management of a good manager a service can gain the best exposure possible and that's what SageSwap did.

I've used their site myself and it was really great to be honest, I faced no issue whatsoever when I performed trades on Sageswap, everything was automatic just like any other good instant exchange.

I believe overtime they'll offer even more competitive rates and I must say that they've done something good by adding that AML swap in their platform because now someone who got affected by high AML coins can easily get good AML coins by doing AML swap. I haven't tested that feature because all my coins are clean with low AML but it's truly a noteworthy feature.

Based on the conversation I had with a few users on another thread, I've decided to post monthly updates to make things clearer about the exact remaining funds in escrow:
- In addition, I'll be transitioning from Legacy to Native SegWit addresses, so I'll move the funds to a dedicated address for SageSwap.

.Here's the breakdown.
  • 1% or a minimum of 0.0005BTC standard fee + a 1% storage fee for each additional month (0.0002365796 x 4 months)
    0.0005 + 0.0009463184 = 0.0014463184BTC [escrow fee]

Total amount of 0.02365796 - escrow fee of 0.0014463184 = 0.0222116416BTC [remaining funds in escrow (without rounding it off)]

Isn't that why they're doing other stuff like raffles, contest, and so on too. Other forums sells their ad spot and I've seen many business buy them regularly. They clearly know maintaining brand presence requires more than users posting regularly here and there. Backlinks or reviews on other websites also seems to gain prominence now, judging from the fact that some new projects request a review on aggregator websites.
Yes, these campaigns are also a part of marketing because they spread the word. When a person from a community, let’s say the Nigerian community, Russian community, or even my own community, wins a reward, they will naturally share the news within their local circles and that motivates others too. That is one way to look at how this kind of marketing works. The kind of results SageSwap has achieved due to the manager’s efforts are enormous, and they are actively sharing the stats as well, which is also part of the marketing strategy.

Because they are being transparent with us, showing where they are now compared to where they started, it highlights how much they have accomplished in such a short time, and they still are not slowing down.

If we had ad spots here, then maybe every project would also be bidding for visibility. You also shared a very good point about aggregator sites because they help a lot in raising awareness about a project.

I see the complaint that campaigns here are not enough which I don’t disagree but let’s understand something some projects have more funds than another and as such their mode of promotion will be definitely different, you don’t expect them to throw out all their resources on marketing only. I think they seriously have other promotional ideas but are definitely doing each stage by stage, they say “slow and steady wins the race”. We have seen other similar platforms throughout lots on advertisement at once and then later cannot continue, we all know the longevity of your promotion most especially for platforms like this actually builds trusts and help bring more users than short term advertisement on multiple places

I think their monthly spending on the signature campaign is much greater than this amount, so it's good to assume they won't scam a user out of $2,000, or that $2,000 might not help much if a scam does occur.

I fully agree with everything that you said... The little discussion that we had on the other thread was about another platform with a larger amount and since these two are the only platforms that I'm holding funds for at the moment, it's only right that I apply those changes [e.g., exact amount left + a dedicated address with a format change] in here as well.
- It's worth noting that a few days ago, I asked for SageSwap's permission and they had a positive response.
