Why do you use crypto?

Lots of people stick to crypto with the reason that it is fast,  international, and do not have to involve traditional bank slowing things down. Few like the privacy and the ability to be paid without revealing personal details. Others appreciate it's low fees for payments between cross-border or the point that it operational anytime not having restrictions. It is not perfect, yet for certain jobs clients, the flexibility and its privacy makes it even more easier choice.

For many reasons, the main reason for me is that I have a big belief in crypto and I am positive it is an extremely good investment.
If it was a bad investment but a good tool I don't think many would be interested in crypto.It's also super easy to get into, and everyday crypto gets accepted more and more all over the world, however sadly we have some countries who work against crypto but I think it will bounce back at them later on.
Crypto won't and can't be stopped and I am positive it holds a super bright future.

The reason why I started was because I hated banks and that did not change, I still hate banks and fiat world so that is why I am in the crypto world. It's clear that we are not talking about just bitcoin as an investment, which is true because you can use it only for that if you want to, but I also use it for money reasons, to me crypto is not just an investment but it is a money to me,  a currency and that is why I keep doing what I do. It's the perfect money out there, and I hope it's more adopted in the end.

When I first got to know about Crypto (Bitcoin in particular), the idea of investment was sold to me which is not bad though. I didn't start investing in bitcoin as soon as I got to know about it, I took my time to learn alot about it before making any financial decision regarding Bitcoin. After my thorough research and learning, I understood alot about bitcoin which made me fall in love with it the more.

I loved the fact that Bitcoin is decentralized and that I am free from restrictions from the bank or even the Creator of Bitcoin when doing any bitcoin transaction. Large transactions are smooth and stress free unlike the banks where I'll have to go through some verification processes for very large transactions. It made international transactions very easy.

As much as I appreciate it as an investment, I also found a perfect alternative in bitcoin. So, I am going to keep using bitcoin for a very long time.

I use crypto because the privacy and freedom it gives to everyone involved in it is second to none, no third party involved in your business and no government monitoring every transaction you make and some of these traditional banks even take outrageous charges that pisses me off. It is also very nice as an investment tool especially for your future sake and traditional banks aren't wired to help you build a better future for yourself and your family, even in international transfer crypto is very effective with zero stress crypto like Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and that's why I will choose it over and over again instead of fiat currency.

In traditional banking system, money has to be sent through SWIFT. When the bank sends money for international payment, the payment stay in SWIFT, if there is any delay, the money does not reach on time, and the bank also has to pay large fees for doing this work. There are weekly closing days, but if transactions are made through crypto, then the transaction can be completed in a short time without facing any such problem.

I use crypto because it was inside this industry I found a way to earn money and have an income for myself. The world outside didn't seem an option for me back then, so I started digging on the internet money making methods until I was introduced to Bitcoin faucets. Later on, I discovered this forum. Besides that main use, I don't have any other applications for crypto in my life. There aren't shops where I can use it as currency, there aren't customers who could pay me in crypto, there aren't employees to be paid in crypto. So I continue using it solely as my source of income.

People use crypto for different reasons.
Some like the idea of controlling their own money without banks. I like crypto for this reason.
Others use it for quick, cheap transfers, especially across borders.
My banks ask too many questions while I want to withdraw cash. I hate this questionnaire.
Many people like the chance of high returns, even though the price moves a lot. Some just enjoy the technology and want to be early in something new. Overall, crypto offers freedom, speed, and access, which is why so many people give it a try despite the risks.
And fiat is scam. I prefer crypto over fiat. It holds same value across the globe

It depends on the need, and I usually use multiple payment methods for specific needs. If a business partner prefers bank payments, that's a mutually agreed-upon option. So far, I've mostly made payments using bank transfers because the people around me aren't very familiar with crypto, so I'm trying to adapt without forcing one party's wishes. But if someone is willing to use crypto transactions, I'd probably prefer Bitcoin or USDT directly, as we can use the transactions to store these assets for investment purposes.

As for ‘exclusively’, if there is anyone on the forum whose only payments are “exclusively” in ‘crypto’, you can count them on the fingers of one hand.

In my case, it's because I have a means of payment and a store of wealth outside the financial system, and if I want to send a transaction to someone on another continent, I don't have to rely on intermediaries or explanations or fill out forms. The means of payment available to us are very convenient, which is why more and more people are using them, increasingly moving away from cash, but this poses a risk to privacy.

In my case, I use bitcoin as an alternative to all of that.

Since PayPal is not available in our country. Due to which we have to use alternative means to receive payments from foreign countries. The easiest alternative means is crypto. Although crypto is still illegal in our country. But we can still use it. So you can say the main reason is to receive payments from foreign clients. And as far as I see in the forum, everyone uses crypto. And bank transfers from one country to another are a scary name. Because there you have to give different details and then it takes time to transfer again. Since then, crypto is absolutely instant. And I think people use stable coins more often than Bitcoin.

I use crypto primarily for savings, it’s a part of my personal deposit, so to speak. And, just like many others here have mentioned, I also use it for convenient transfers between family members both within the country and abroad. In my country, banks not only have too much information about us, but they can also block a transfer and demand an explanation of the funds’ origin, even when the amount is nothing large, often just half of an average monthly salary, and sometimes even smaller amounts, or regular small transfers. Crypto is more efficient than bank wire in terms of international transactions. Crypto does not support intermediaries, which is why crypto transactions are cheaper, faster and more secure. Sure that is why many people prefer to be making transactions with crypto then banks. You will have freedom and your coins will be safe without any government policies no alot of charges depend on what type of transactions you are doing. I used crypto because am safe with it and I will be getting profits even when I keep the coin without making transactions with it but if is bank you will be losing your funds because the more you keep your money or savings money in the bank that is how your money will be reducing because bank will be doing is unnecessary charges and this days bank charge alot and that is why I prefer to keep my savings money n crypto and be getting more profits. Bitcoin is the best coin that if you keep your funds you will have peace of mind and still be getting profits in it. You have to wait a long time to deposit and receive money within a certain period of time, but in the case of Bitcoin, there is no specific time frame. There are purposes of why we use it, mostly crypto and mainly bitcoin we're having it as an investment. And for some transfers, it's now becoming popular that we can pay things through it and the merchants are integrated with third party apps. It's okay to use fiat and bank transfers and wires for some transfers. But it's also becoming popular about the crypto transfers as we can see that even companies and clients are now starting to use it as a payment because it's flexible. Whether you're for the anonymity of it, or just casual transfers, it's reliable.

Anonymous is the major reason some people are using crypto, because there is no third party in your transaction and your privacy is well secure. Bank officials don't know how much is in your wallet like the way they know how much in their customers account, and they can report any of their customers to government officials for big money they suspect it can't be own by one person in the country. Many youths has reduced the amount of money they are keeping in the bank, because is not adding any value to their wealth apart from safe and use of the money to buy any kind of goods you want within country.

Base on the international business am into, it has pushed me to start using crypto, because there are some countries that accept crypto to buy any kind of materials and pay with crypto.

Cross-border payments will take days to reach the other party and it cost much higher in fee than using crypto which will be possible in the next 10 minutes or whenever the next block is found and you used the fee that is enough to get included in that block. So with crypto you get transparency along with the convenience not just the click and pay.

The reason I want to use crypto is because I want a way out of this controlled payment system, everything is in their control and you don't own the funds it is the bank that is keeping our funds on behalf of us so the entire traditonal banking system works on the trust while the bitcoin is working on the trustless method.

Anyone that study crypto stuff he will definitely do transactions with it because is flexible and fast without any third party involved like bank. No one will say crypto transactions is bad everyone enjoy it expect you don't have idea about it. I used crypto for transactions some times but my more focused is investment because that make me come to crypto space not for transactions but for the benefit that I will achieve in it. And we find bitcoin that is the best coin that we will trust and invest and trade and do transactions with and you will be ok without thinking of losing your funds. Is only trading that can make you lose in crypto but investment will minimise your losses depends on type of the coin you are holding for long term, because some can't be patient to hold for long term and prefer to hold some other coin that can bring profit in a short term.

How long would a bank wire take if you are sending it to another country? Probably days, and how long would it take if you are using cryptocurrencies? Not more than a minute if you are using a cryptocurrency that has a fast confirmation speed, Bitcoin might take some time, but if you pay the highest fees, it will also take less time. So for cross border payments, cryptocurrencies are the best, but I don't only use them for cross-border payments, I also use them locally, or within the country, because it's fast and more convenient than fiat in most cases.

I wouldn't say bank transfers are not fast, they are fast within the country, but we can't say that we will never face problems with them. For example, by bank's link is down currently, so I'm unable to transfer any funds until they fix the problem, but I can make payments at any time with a cryptocurrency and no such problem will occur.
