What's reasons could explain this message from any bet platform?

Personally I have experienced something similar, I’m sure this is Sportybet that’s what shows up as messages once it has a change of odds in the pick you want to bet on. So you can tell you friend to cross check if there is no suspended odds in the selection and if truly there is none then it’s definitely something totally different from what I know, but from experience it happens more when there is suspension.

I agree with some of the assumptions of some people here because the most likely thing here is when the odds change there is nothing else.
I've had some similar experiences when doing multi, let alone combining matches that are in progress with those that are not because the odds will always change and I think that's normal.

He may be playing on bonuses that doesn't covers his selections so in the end the bookie has the right to give him such push back message,  that is the only reasonable reason for this kind of realities asides that, the odds may have changed since this message can come up during bet on luve games that the odds keep changing as the match progresses.

That will be more likely the case here. Of course, bookies will change their odds from time to time, depending on the algo of their system. I don't really know and from what I'm seeing there it is not even a life bet. Actually, I believe the reason why he got that message from the betting site is because the odd changed, it's either the odd increased or decreased.

Come to think of it, is that the only game your friend bet right there? And another question is, how much did he stake on the game?

Maybe with this answer people can actually know the main reason why he received the message from the betting site.

You're right I think odd changed can actually be the cause of this. Because this is my first time of seeing this and I must confess that I don't have any experience about this, but I like the fact that you asked the question because that is the only way we can understand everything. But I have a strong feeling that odd increase is just the challenge, nothing more than that since he has not experienced it before, is just a minor issue.

I have noticed that it is really common on that platform and i don't really know the cause of it as well...most times what I do is, I just remove a few games from the bet slip about tow or three then I increase the stake amount a bit,.after that it works perfectly fine...if it persists in your next bet use this method I just explained  it works..maybe they have their reasons why it appears that way sometimes

Every sportbook with there different features, the one I experienced just like this but the error gave a different message from this one, to resolve it, I had to change the settings on the sportbook so that while picking games and the odds change, it will automatically update that change that was made on the odd, but if it was when I didn't allow the odd changes to automatically update, I will have to remove the game from the ones I pick and add it back again before it can work, sometimes they will also send a message like "odd blocked", meaning that I will have to completely remove the game.

I think the reason is because the odd change , maybe higher or lower than the main one he saw before booking the game , them this submission failed could also be because maybe people has played the games , because if the rate of people playing is higher,  to place bet on that same game will  give serious issue , it has happened to me before , a guy posted a game on Twitter and his good at prediction, so his fans are always active to his games , if you bet his game 30mins late , you may get submissions failed , but later on you can still try again and it be successful and lastly it could also be network issue , so many things can cause it anyway .

If your'e doing parlay, and then one of more legs get odds change. Such massage will appear.

If you're betting on the live game, the odds gets changed everytime you submit your bet. the same message is also appearing.

Try to refresh it, and put your bet again. Try to ensure you submit it as fast as you can do avoid the odd changes.

I doubt it’s due to a suspended odd. If there’s a suspended odd amongst your picks in sportybet, they’ll simply just remove it and stake the available odds for you, it never gives an error message like this, or at least I’ve never experienced it from my end, so I doubt it’s suspended odd, its definitely something else. Perhaps OP should reach out to customer support, I think they’re in a better position to explain why it’s giving the error message and then further instruct him on how to get it fixed.

True, this is the second time I see someone asking about a casino while they didn't even ask the live support first. Not all users in this forum work in the casino or have experience to work in the casino, most users here are promoters and have never touch the operational jobs.

This site allow to Place a bet with a specific odd (likewise Betfair, as betting Exchange allows to select an input)?
Are in place limits for odds or amount to play? It Is maybe a multiple and he has selected only few items...?
Generally these limits if unplanned are not helpful for players. Doesn't allow a regular gaming session and could create serious issues.
There Is a reason to play there? I would Just suggest to use another bookmaker if he doesn't get satisfactory answer.

Perhaps you may not have experienced it yet but I’m certain about this experience as I have had it twice or thrice while attempting to place a bet, they do not automatically remove the bet which has been suspended but let you know for a minute that it has been suspended or send such messages like the op posted before you can then refresh and it probably be removed after refresh or you manually remove it because it’s suspended. Just try to place a bet one leagues they a so minor on sporty and maybe out of 10 attempts you will experience it.

I think this can be seen in a situation where the odds changes from what it used to be without refreshing it. Once the homepage is being refreshed, there could be a slight increase or decrease in the odds meaning the previous odd was not longer available. This is to my own understanding, but I believe there could be other reasons as well.

Or maybe there could be chances of a suspended game that is yet to start or a running game, these are situations to the best of knowledge I think you can have such experiences.

The problem is because the odd has changed, if the odds were still the same as at when he picked them, then it will be successfully staked but it didn't because the odds has changed. Your explanation makes sense, it means the odds are already not valid and need to be reloaded.
Odds changes can occur at any time and usually bettors can choose to accept the changes automatically, but if they do not choose automatic, then the message may appear when the odds change. But if the sportsbook had better features, I think they could display a pop up message about the odds change when the bettor wants to confirm his bet.
