This has been a really great series so far, especially with Philly winning 2 games on the road. I know the spread for Boston at home looks attractive, but I’m going to fade that. Instead, I’m still siding with Philly here. I’m not going to get too ambitious and call for the outright win. I just want to play it safer and take the handicap. So my pick is Philly +7.5.

Tomorrow, we only have one game, Cavaliers vs Pistons. I think I will just follow the trend here, both teams have been winning on their home court, so the Pistons should have a good chance to win and cover the spread.

Whoever wins this game will likely win the series, so it is quite hard to decide which side to back here.

What I’m thinking is, when both teams really want to win badly, they will probably play tougher defense. So the game could turn into a low-scoring one, especially if both sides are more careful with their possessions. Of course, if it gets close, overtime is always possible, but I’m not really thinking too much about that anymore.

Wow, Cavaliers losing big time at home, I really did not expect that. The Pistons did a great job in Game 6, and now the series is tied, so everything comes down to one last game. Since there is only one game left in this semifinal series, I hope this time I will be right. Pistons already proved they can win on the road, and now they will be back at home for Game 7.

I think they will do even better there and advance to the ECF.

Never expected Detroit to lose that big on their home court in Game 7. Very bad bet, and my updated record is now 22-26.

But tomorrow, hopefully we bounce back. I will be backing the Spurs to cover the spread on the road. I have them at +6.5, and I also placed a small side bet on the moneyline, but that one is off the record.

Spurs are not that bad on the road, and with Wemby playing the way he is, I think they can keep this game close.

Based on how the Spurs played in Game 1, I think the current line is already shouting trap. I know Spurs looked very good, and Wemby was almost unstoppable, but this is also the spot where OKC should make their adjustment. I expect the Spurs to be in foul trouble here, especially Wemby, because OKC will surely attack more and try to put pressure on him early. With that said, I’m rooting for OKC to win by over 7.5 points.

Looking at the line here, it seems very low and people will probably think the over will easily hit since last game’s total was 219. But I think this one will be more physical, the home team will try to win these home games so they can get the edge, while the Cavaliers will also fight hard to avoid going down badly in the series.

So my bet would be under 215.

Now they are down 0-3, and I don’t see any way they can still come back from this. Next game might be the same story, the Knicks could probably finish them already.

But tomorrow, I think the other series will be more interesting and I’m hoping the Spurs can even the series.
